“I went 3-14-24 @ 6:25. Starting with parking which was weird. Looks like you have to valet or find parking else where. The restaurant vibe is welcoming and the live band added just the touch of class needed. Taylor the waiter was awesome with three minutes to spare on the happy hour he got me a menu and took my order to accommodate. There was another bartender with him a young lady with dark hair that was very attentive as well. The first person you meet in any establishment can make or break the business. These two worked well together and although the food wasn’t the best I would definitely come back to the bar. The steak nachos were blah as were the avocado rolls.“
“Great experience and this place is a hidden gem. Excellent brisket and sausage. Pulled pork was good too. Turkey was ok. The sides are difference makers. Surprise side dishes were the cauliflower and the fried green tomatoes. We went with a group and got to try a little bit of everything. Elote, okra and cauliflower were my favorite sides. Mac and cheese was ok. Will definitely be going back to try the Brisket grilled cheese with cauliflower as a side.Parking: Lots of free parking .“

The setup suggests they probably get more of a late night crowd. There is outdoor seating available and DJ booth area. The fried cauliflower was delicious and spicy. The Buffalo lemon pepper wings were also good. Really enjoyed our drinks. They have several tvs and were very accommodating when we asked if they could change to the game we were interested in. “Tried this new restaurant this past weekend. The restaurant is brand new, still smells new. The owners came to check on us and made sure we were enjoying our food and drinks. Our server Jack was on top of it making sure we didn't need anything. I'm a picky eater so I got the plain cheeseburger. This cheeseburger was soooo goood! The fries were perfect! The Smoked Tri Tip Dip. And any sandwich lover knows how important the au jus is for a dip sandwich. Saying the au jus tasted like watered down, low sodium chicken broth is being kind. Everything else was outstanding. But my main course was ruined due the most important aspect of the dish, which was offensively bad. So that’s why the 4 stars. Please go to Whiskey Cake and enjoy. I will say the tacos have a lot of Indian flavor which I loved but not everyone does. In fact, I think some chutney would be a great add to these tacos to cut the spice. We ordered 4 different veggie tacos that are on the menu, and the one with Cauliflower was the best followed by panner and then the tofu one. We didn't really like the mushroom one, as it didn't have much flavor compared to the others. Their nacho chips are good with the avocado, and the totter tots were good too (though a little unhealthy.) I would surely recommend this place for a nice good lunch.“

Just a few things keep it from 5 stars; no sweetner for ice tea, skimpy napkins (takes too many to clean up), not much for interior decoration. If not ready for hot chicken start with no spice or mild. It takes some getting used to impact on taste buds.“

My kids and I are gluten-free, so they were so excited to find a kids menu that had lots of options for even them, such as Mac n Cheese! We are not used to getting dessert either, so that was a huge treat for us since all the desserts are gluten-free. The chocolate pudding was wonderful and plenty for us to share. To eat, I ordered the Mini Elk Tacos & a bowl of the Venison Chili. The tacos were delicious and seasoned well. The Chili was sweet with a little bit of spice (a 3/10 on a spiciness scale). It was filled with plenty of meat.In regards to customer service, they did very well. My server, Bri, was kind & attentive. The host & hostesses were welcoming and kind as well.“

“Stopped in for dinner after a day of running errands. The food was tasty.. roughly $6 per taco but a little larger than street tacos. The flavors all blended well. We got the grilled steak (2), chicken and waffle, and fish n’ hips taco with a side of elote and chips. The elote had a slight kick, but mostly mild and really good. Ask for extra queso fresco! The chips were a bit stale, but I love blue corn chips!“
