“So we went to Rodeo Goat for a few drinks before dinner. I asked our bartender, Anna, for an extra sweet bourbon Manhattan on the rocks. This is probably not a common order. She was gone for quite a while and I said to my husband, "She probably had to look up how to make it." Well, she did and it was outstanding. I wish more bartenders would do this!! I have been to numerous upscale restaurants in the area and, honestly, this is the best drink I have ever had. Anna was a delightful, professional bartender and a credit to Rodeo Goat. “Used to come here all the time before we moved out of town now we stop here every time we're in town , seen they have new menu we tried the homemade tomato soup and I was skeptical ordering it but glad I did, it was really good even my husband liked it, I was very surprised he liked it lol . Oscar was our bartender he did an amazing job keeping everyone around the bar and tables happy while the other bartender was in slow motion.“

“Neat little deli. Food is made fresh so it took a few minutes but it was good! The sourdough bread is great. I got the chicken mushroom ranch sandwich (added lettuce). It was a little bland and could use maybe some salt and pepper but it was good. Big sandwich! Store has some smaller tables (2-3 seats at each table) if you want to eat in. They offer canned drinks and have tea, lemonade, and water available.“

“We drove an hour for the Christmas pop-up event with our family that came to visit from MD. We loved every bit of the experience. The food and drinks were amazing! Connor, our waiter could not have been better! He was such a sweetheart and was so amazing dealing with our party of 11!! 10/10 recommend!!“

“Had a 10 inch Philly Cheese steak with hot house sauce, garlic Parmesan fries, and funnel cake fries. It was out of this world. Hands down one of the best cheese steaks I’ve ever had!! The fries were shoestring and full of flavor. The funnel cake fries were amazing!!!“

“When I moved to Frisco after living in a much smaller city, it didn’t take long to notice a difference in how people interact. Even when things are crazy-busy where I lived, the grocery store checkers, retail, restaurants—both customers and employees would at least look each other in the eye, and say a quick, “How’s it going?” “Oh, wow. You’re slammed tonight.” “Love your coat, where’d you get it?” Here in Dallas, the pace is at a constant sprint, and many times employees don’t even look up to see who they’re waiting on. So I take notice of that, and I want to call out Hostess Ava. She’s welcoming, upbeat, makes eye contact, gives off calm vibes, and engages. It’s a short interaction, but when the host/hostess is the first person you see, those things can bring someone’s mood up a few notches, because you never know what ‘baggage’ the person walking in the door is carrying. Came from a bad meeting? Got bad news from the dr. ? Got a speeding ticket on the way, so lunch time is shortened? Shout out to server Zo, too.“
