“I had two jalapeno, sausage and cheese kolaches and they were So Good - I wish I had gotten three!!! The girl behind the counter was so nice and pleasant, and very patient and helpful - I had trouble with the payment machine - hadn't used one like that before😕. She was really great and even apologized over it...I LOVE customer service like that!!! Hard to explain if I needed to give the directions (242 & Honor Roll), but Google maps got me there okay. And at that hour (8:30ish AM Sunday) there was plenty of parking, and I had no Wait Time. Great Place - delicious food.“

“This review is long overdue. I don’t review many companies at all, but this little kolache/donut restaurant on the corner of 2920 and Mahaffey is more than deserving of it and everyone’s business. This is a small family business that puts their heart and sole into their food. Every time I’ve stepped through their door I’ve been greeted with a smile, and every kolache I’ve ordered has been consistently better than one from any other restaurant I’ve had. “I have been coming to Bakery Donuts since I was in highschool, over twenty years ago. Back then it was called "Max Donuts", but they have never waiverd on quality or service. They are the supreme authority on kolaches and pastry production. Support small business and frequent this location for your weekly donut ? trip. There is a Shipley's down the road, but they are overpriced and half the quality. I will continue to frequent Bakery Donuts for as long as I live.

“This unassuming place with very little signage tucked in an unassuming strip needs to be experienced if you get the chance. Yes, they have kolaches and, of course, donuts. They also have tacos of some sort. These are all fresh and very well made. The glaze is never messy (as if the neatness of a donut matters). Frosting on donuts is consistent and consistently good. But the absolute best item Donut Palace carries is their apple fritter. I’ve had a few in my life. And I know some of their regulars who have had a few all over the world. These are, without a doubt, the most exceptional apple fritters I have ever had. They are the perfect combination of delectable crusty on the outside and tender, warm goodness in the inside. A warning: they sometimes go fast, so you may have to arrive early to get your hands on something that could possibly be a life elevating, if not life changing experience.“

I gave it 4 stars because the only thing this location lacks, in my opinion, is that there should be a broader drink selection. There's usually only milk, orange juice, or apple juice. I would suggest possibly adding more cold coffee's, Gatorade, and alternative juice options. Keep up the great smiles. Be blessed.“
