“Just went to this Shipley's, Sunday, 6:45 am to by 6 plain sausage kolaches and 6 sausage cheese kolaches. I was the only one in the store.
The young lady told me they did not have any sausage kolaches. Asked her how , on a Sunday morning, at 6:45 am, they did not have any plain sausage kolaches.
She said the baker forgot to bake them. I saw thst as ridiculous and she asked if i wanted to speak to the manager ( who i think is the owner. Told her no.
Saw no use in talking to the manager if he couldn't even monitor the kitchen and make sure the kolaches are baked and ready to sell.

Won't be buying kolaches there sny more.“

“This review is long overdue. I don’t review many companies at all, but this little kolache/donut restaurant on the corner of 2920 and Mahaffey is more than deserving of it and everyone’s business. This is a small family business that puts their heart and sole into their food. Every time I’ve stepped through their door I’ve been greeted with a smile, and every kolache I’ve ordered has been consistently better than one from any other restaurant I’ve had. They can count on me as a life long customer. Word of mouth is the best marketing tactic, so I’m gonna refer you guys to everyone. Try the Kountry Boy and the pepperoni kolaches if y’all want to ride the flavor train for a bit.

“As long as you get there early enough, this is your best bet for variety, taste and people! Never been treated anything less than wonderful here and it's always delicious!Funny enough...I used to work at that gas station in 1998-99 when I was 18. Gas was $.88/gal and Diesel was $.82/ gal. Crazy....

“Absolutely LOVE this place! We've been coming here just about once a week for the last couple of months and everything they have is so good. The make their iced coffee with espresso and it's legit the best iced coffee I've ever had. Great donuts - apple fritters and cake donuts are fabulous - as well as all the regulars. Sausage, cheese and Jalapeño kolaches are way better than most places. The brisket ones are great, too! The staff working are so nice, we seriously love this place.“

“The donut shop we've used for many years closed due to rent increases in Indian Springs. So, recently we tried this one a few miles away. My husband really likes the apple fritters. And I find the regular glazed donuts fresh and satisfying. Although they might make them, by the times we have at arrived, there are no chocolate cake, with chocolate icing.“

I gave it 4 stars because the only thing this location lacks, in my opinion, is that there should be a broader drink selection. There's usually only milk, orange juice, or apple juice.
