“I had takeout from this place and it was really fantastic. Every item we tried was good. My favorite were the brussel sprouts. Absolutely off the hook. Definitely the best brussel sprouts I have had in YEARS. Like, I could not make them this good at home if I tried. Everything we ordered from here was good though, we had sandwiches, biscuits, and a bunch of other stuff, including a salad with beets and goat cheese. I did not set food inside the place because someone else picked up the order so I can't say anything about atmosphere, but the quality of the food at this place really impressed me.“

“I like to think of myself as a bit of a BBQ veteran. Having sampled BBQ from all across the US and owning a BBQ business myself. Louie Mueller is the type of place you have to check off your BBQ Bucket List. The Brisket was outstanding and Ribs were perfectly cooked. I prefer a little more pepper and spice on my ribs but that's just nitpicking for the sake of nitpicking. The ambiance is awesome and the folks working there are even better. It's a must try if you're near the Eastside of Austin or just looking for another great establishment to try.“

“Met a business associate here for lunch on a Wednesday. Good crowd. Even better food! Best catfish and shrimp I've had in a while. Fries were on point as well. Friendly folks running the place too! Next time I'll have to try one of the sandwiches. That means I'll be back!!“

“Had lunch here Friday as part of a group of 11. We called ahead and they had a table ready for us when we arrived. I don't know our server's name, but she was fantastic and the service was very quick. The fried pickles were great -- nice and crispy with just a little kick to them. I had the fried fish plate with green beans and mashed potatoes. Thin pieces of fish breaded with crispy cornmeal. Just like the fish I grew up eating in South Mississippi. Delicious! I loved the green beans as well. They were southern style with some pieces of tomato in them. I can't tell you how many times I've passed this place and never even noticed it. Would definitely return, especially on a Friday when they are serving fish!“

“We live in Round Rock and were craving an old fashioned cheeseburger. Well, we got what we wanted!!! First, the burgers were about 6 inches in diameter (it seemed like it). It had so much flavor. The whole wings were seasoned and fried perfectly. Focus on the FOOD and you won’t be disappointed. ?“

“First time to eat at Thrall Diner. Their chicken fried steak was excellent. I would highly recommend this diner. The waitress was so friendly. If you go try the fried bell pepper. It was great.“
