“Today I finally tried Layne’s, it was wonderful. The chicken is so much better than Canes or Slim Chickens. This is the best chicken I’ve had besides making homemade tenders, which is exactly what it reminded me of. The chicken was tender and the crust/batter is crispy. “I ordered take out today for my son and I and his app would let me put for it to be ready by 10:30 am, but my app would not let me pick that time and I needed to pick up the orders at the same time, but i went ahead and placed the order like that. I called and Jesús was fabulous and let me pick it up about the same time as my son's even though the app said noon. Thank you for working with me!!“

I wouldn't have even stopped by if it wasn't, yes just going for the free strip. So I called to let them know in a fun way...are y'all forgetting to give the free chicken strip?! Anyway, they made up for it. They also gave me a sweet tea when I ordered an unsweet tea but didn't know that till after I got home, added stevia to my tea, took a sip & it was overly sweet!! Not good! But they did correct it more than they should have, so all is good & happy.“

“Came in for date night with my husband and we were jivin’ for a good burger and cold beer. This place hit both cravings out of the park! Heather was our waitress, who was attentive but not helicopter-esque, and an absolute joy. Our burgers were cooked to a perfect medium, the veggies were fresh, and the sidewinders and potato wedges were plentiful. Be sure to come hungry - you definitely won’t leave that way! Cannot wait to come back here as it’s just down the road from the house!“

“My food is still always fast, fresh, and delicious. I have been coming to this location around 20 years. Highly recommend, and I stop anytime I pass by. Way better than any other fast food taco joint. Get the Chilli burger(taco burger) and make sure to get extra sauce. Also great nachos if you like upgraded ball park nachos.“

“I placed an order for me and my kiddo, and when I got to the window my card was nowhere to be found. I was embarrassed and panicked. Eric (the person at the window) calls over his manager Sarah, and they tell me “it’s ok, just take the food”, and then handed the bag to me. This was so kind of them! I eventually located my card (on the entry way table at home ??‍♀️). I called back and asked if I could come back to pay, but Sarah said it wasn’t necessary.

“While this is my “go to” Chick-fil-a restaurant, it is so frustrating to not receive all the items you paid for. I of course did not discover this until I was home. Calling the store is an endless loop of menu options or voicemail boxes that are not set up. Be sure you check your bags before you pull away!“

“My son and stopped by this location after leaving Grapevine Mills Mall on
July 26, 2025. We used to have a 2 Taco Casa where I live. Then Jucy's Taco replaced them, why, I don't know. Taco Casa is way better and I wish they'd at least bring back one Taco Casà Restaurant. The truth is, hands down they have no competition. Because there's no other Fast Food Taco Place that can compete with them. Taco Casa is Truly, One Of Kind, is on a level by itself, above the all the other Taco Chain Places. Anyway, the gentleman that took our order, was so nice and so were the other employees. The whole restaurant was very clean including restrooms. The Food and Service was exceptional. I hope they never change their menu. The Food on the Menu is spot on. We'll be visiting this location again real soon. I 💜 Taco Casa. And since my son is moving to the area soon. Looks like we'll be making this location a regular stop.

FYI: The Chilada ( I get extra sauce, olives, and onions added) and Super Burrito is Deliciously Amazing. I 1000% recommend. Even though I absolutely Love everything I've ever ordered.“

“The employees here are 10/10 the nicest people EVER. I go at least once a week for breakfast. Today I forgot to click lite ice on my mobile app for my coffee….they had already made it. Being super fast like they are. (: So I asked when I pulled up to the window about having lite ice, so they gave me the one they originally made and a lite iced one. My morning has been made!!!“

“Although I'm living in New York, I get a chance to come and eat here from time to time, because I have a sister living in Dallas, Texas. Everyone working in this place was so kind and all the food was good. I could not find any crispier chicken than this place in any restaurants in New York. My favorite menu is Golden fried chicken but Southern fried catfish was also very good. I cannot wait to go to Dallas to eat here again. Keep up the good work, guys!“

At the front counter, Joshua has never met a stranger and will call you by name every time you visit. Don’t know how he remembers all the names, but he does. “The ordering process reminds me of Chipotle where they put your meal together as you pass through the line and tell them what you want. We ordered the Chile Lime Chicken Enchiladas and the Sweet Pork Baja Bowl. We also bought a cup of Horchata. The food is good. My son really liked the enchiladas.“

As I didn’t recognize more than two folks, I figure there are a bunch of new hires. Whether a headset issue or a understanding issue often the drive thru attendants do not seem happy to be at work or struggle to understand the order. If this happened for me at multiple drive thru's (like it does my husband's deep voice) then I would expect it but seems to constantly only be an issue at this one location.“

“I’ve been eating here regularly since it opened. The staff does a good job keeping the buffet fresh and Marisol works hard making the pizzas. Buffet pricing has gone up but is still reasonable for what you get.

The main cons are:

- no to-go cups available despite having a soda fountain
- diet Dr Pepper is 80% foam the majority of the time so Pepsi needs to look into the machine function
- some of the other customers are rude - for example - people watching videos on their phone at full volume with no headphones - just zero awareness! We don’t want to hear whatever you are watching in a public restaurant.

But again, overall good experience with this buffet.“

“I go to this location every time I visit my sister I TX. The staff aid very friendly and our counter person, Norma, made sure our order was just the way we ordered. The restaurant is always clean.“

“Well we normally drive up to get our food tonight I made the mistake of using Uber Eats’s..

order arrived Half of it.. Here is the Great thing I call the store even though it is through Uber just wanted to let them know “BTW the Uber driver mucked up the orders” I get Steve the owner on the phone by chance..

Let me explain something when a Restaurant goes with a meal delivery they are not responsible for the driver, or the driver mixing up orders and should not be.

But Steve went above and Beyond, way beyond actually I had hit the buttons in Uber Eats , tried to call the driver, and sent the refund form already.. Now Steve is out the money for the order as Uber Eats does not hold their Drivers accountable at all.

Steve knowing this Still wanted to make things right, He cooked the right food and we went to pick it up, he Went above and beyond.. He could have told me to kick rocks take it up with Uber Eats, he did the right thing even when it cost him money, they already had our Weekly order on Sundays because they do chicken right.
They now have garnered my respect, as well as making me want to ensure I Stop in to this location more than just once a Week.

Steve your integrity as a Business Owner is something not so common anymore, thank you Sir, I hope your Managers and Employee’s continue to follow in your footsteps.“

Kristi and Tim work their butt's off in that kitchen to get food out ASAP but still make quality food, and adain has the drive thru moving faster then a Nascar race. 10 out of 10 overall. *Original Review* Was asked to wait at the first window (where you pay) while they made chicken fries. No worries, I don't mind waiting for fresh food. However, I absolutely hate waiting and waiting just to be given cold hard food. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 since they made my sandwich correctly. Wish it wasn't old and cold as well.👎 I recommend a different location.“
