“Definitely a hidden gem we have passed by this restaurant for years tonight I decided to stop not realizing it was 7:50 and they closed at 8:00. I apologized the owners were so friendly prepared the best meal for me to take home!! Can’t wait to go back!! Also the inside was absolutely spotless clean!!!“

“My wife, sister and I had lunch here Wednesday. We were very pleasantly surprised in how authentic the selections were. The heat chart is dead on for farangs like us. But as my sister in law is Thai I have been trained towards spicier dishes, but not yet ready for Thai spicy. Her green papaya salad lit me up. We'll be back.“

“Shout out to Taco Casa Abilene on Buffalo Gap Road. We went and ate lunch and everything was great. I’m picky and like a bean burrito with not a ton of beans and the kitchen showed me the burrito before rolling it to see if that was how I wanted it. Then a man that worked there I guess noticed I didn’t finish my food and brought me a sack to take it home with me so it was easier to carry since I had a baby with me, he did this without me saying a word about needing one just thinking he’d make things easier on me to carry. So thoughtful. The place was super clean and the environment was great unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere. They take pride in what they’re putting out and you don’t see that much nowadays especially in fast food.“

“The food was so bomb!!! They had a bunch of specialty pizzas, the staff was nice as well. The manager asked us how the food was, and it truly was delicious. After working all day without eating, my husband and I came here to eat and it was bomb!! The kids had pepperoni pizza, and I do wanna say if you get cold easy, take a jacket! We will be coming back soon! Thanks for the great food and service!“

“This place is a great breakfast place. I've only been for breakfast, so that's what I know. The normal is hard to beat. But the texas hash plate is another great one. But that's not even the best part about this place. The staff is super friendly and funny and just overall welcoming. Ask for Cody he's a master at his craft. He's a really awesome server, and one big reason I keep coming back each weekend :)“

“There are two locations in Abilene. Personally, the location on the south side of town is the only one I will go to, even though it means adding an extra 10 minutes one way to my drive. Excellent service, friendly staff, consistently great food, and basic things like napkins, Heff’s sauce, and tea are always accessible and kept in good supply.“

“It is loud and one of the waitresses skipped us due to the restaurant using a ticket system to let them know is next to be seated. Thankfully our hostess noticed this and seated us herself before going on break. The waitress we had was wonderful super kind and attentive even with how busy she was. Took time to greet our little ones and joked while taking our orders. The staff is always courteous and professional. This roadhouse is by far my favorite to go to. If they are overly busy they will warn us ahead of taking orders instead of apologizing after a long wait. Will come back regularly.“
