“We stopped in for dinner after spending the day truck shopping. The salesman, Malcolm, at Arrow Fire sent us here. We didn’t wait for a table even though it was after 6 pm on a Friday. We both ordered the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. I had the beehive salad and it was delicious. The staff was all super friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a delicious meal.“

“About average pizza buffet chain. Went on an extremely busy Saturday after graduations. The place was packed. The staff worked really well to keep the pizza and desserts stock at all times.

They handled the flow well.

The place could definitely use a good cleaning with lots of de-greaser the tables chairs walls etc.. all were a bit greasy and sticky.

Overall good for large groups to get their fills.“

“Shout out to Taco Casa Abilene on Buffalo Gap Road. We went and ate lunch and everything was great. I’m picky and like a bean burrito with not a ton of beans and the kitchen showed me the burrito before rolling it to see if that was how I wanted it. Then a man that worked there I guess noticed I didn’t finish my food and brought me a sack to take it home with me so it was easier to carry since I had a baby with me, he did this without me saying a word about needing one just thinking he’d make things easier on me to carry. So thoughtful. The place was super clean and the environment was great unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere. They take pride in what they’re putting out and you don’t see that much nowadays especially in fast food.“

“We came to Abilene specifically to try Mr. Burger, and it did not disappoint! We ordered a Jr. Burger, a Triple Cheeseburger, and fries. The burgers were exactly what a classic burger should be—simple, flavorful, and satisfying. What really stood out was that they weren't overly greasy like some burger places. Instead, they had that nostalgic, old-school burger taste that reminded me of childhood while still being absolutely delicious.

The fries were crispy and cooked perfectly. They actually reminded me of the fries Burger King used to serve back in the '90s—golden, crunchy, and full of flavor. They were the perfect complement to the burgers.

Overall, the trip was well worth it. If you're looking for a classic burger experience that brings back memories while still delivering great food, Mr. Burger is definitely worth a visit.“

I highly recommend supporting the open mic nights. You don’t have to be a pro or seasoned singer. It’s kind of like karaoke with a live band plus the band performs songs in between. “I really like Texas Roadhouse. The steaks are always cooked perfect, the rolls with that cinnamon butter are addictive, and the service is consistently great. Friendly staff and solid portions.
Only downside is it gets pretty loud in there, especially on busy nights. Hard to chat without yelling sometimes“
