I sometimes have unusual hours. one morning I stopped here well before they had opened up and even though the were preparing for the day they opened up and made me breakfast. “Go here. If you go anywhere to eat in DFW area, let it be this place. The first true farm to table restaurant that puts its heart and soul into everything they make. We were blown away by every cocktail and dish we had, but the star of the show was the Tea Braised Pig Tails (pictured below). As a farmer and a butcher, I have no idea where they source these magical, massive pig tails, but they are 100% the best tasting thing I've put in my mouth in Dallas since we came. In all my (16 total) years in bars and restaurants, I've never been more impressed by a single bartender. This guy is lacto fermenting, dehydrating, infusing, & manipulating different ingredients in incredible ways that deserve as much credit as the kitchen. Honestly, the combination of a passionate chef and a passionate bartender make this place hands down the best spot in DFW. I wish more places were ethically sourcing ingredients and using more of the animals they serve, as this place has so perfectly achieved. If they were closer, I'd probably be trying to do business with them in some manner.“

“From the forgettable name to the slow service, Green Point just barely makes 4 stars. It’s more of a 3.5. The fish was decently good but nothing unique or special. The gumbo was above average because it was “meaty” and flavorful. My favorite part was dessert-the chocolate chip cookies were excellent. For the price, there are too many other good restaurant options where I’d prefer to go.“

“Solo trip to Dallas for work and was looking for a good steakhouse. I asked someone at the hotel as well as an Uber driver and they both said pappas bros was the best! Food tried has included the Veggie Omelet, California Benedict (could use a bit more crumbled bacon), Bagel & Lox, Cinnamon Roll French Toast, & Turkey Avocado Wrap. All delicious! Pancakes & waffles come with drizzled cream cheese icing. Wasn't sure about this, but was So good! Servings are very generous. Definitely going back again!“

“Piada’s will never let you down. The staff however, this one particular young caucasian lady acted as if requesting the toppings I wanted on my wrap was a problem. And let’s not discuss when it was time to add the Alfredo sauce to my pasta, I had to tell her add some more. She acted as if she didn’t want to serve us and she didn’t want to be at work. Piadas do better. Teach your staff customers service, before you lose business.“

“This cafe is a MUST when in the hospital/ near the area. Nowadays, it’s almost impossible to find coffee/food with such good quality and even better pricing. I always stop by here, even if it is just to say hi to their friendly staff. Don’t skip out on this place!“

“This is my third time to Salata and I really enjoy it. The ingredients are fresh and tasty, and it's great to have a quick healthy option around. If you get a protein, it can add up quickly on your pocketbook however. The restaurant is clean and the staff is always welcoming. Make sure to get the app for rewards and free salads too“

“I have frequented this SS for a number of years, typically going 2-3 times/month to grab food. The team has always been courteous, quick and overall great. The Bam Bam and a few other salads are delicious and building your own is easy. I would love to see them try even more dressing options although they have a good range currently. Ordering through the app is also very easy which makes it nice to swing by quickly. Overall great spot and team. And yes, salads in 2024-2025 are unfortunately expensive so come to grips with that before providing negative feedback.“

“We come to this location at least once a week. The food is reasonably priced and extremely delicious. I always leave feeling full and not gross like pretty much all of the other places in the area, lol. Plus, we absolutely love dining in because the staff is great and the place is spotless. Kenny is seriously the best and my night is made every time we come in and he's working!“

Ashley - the manager (formerly bar tender extraordinaire) has become a friend. (No we aren't drunks or even weekly or monthly regulars.) But we converse she remembers us.

The atmosphere is light, conversational, (no loud music), can watch a couple of games, and the good is outstanding. There are some standards on the menu, but they always mix things up with a special and the occasional revised menu.

It's a place we can always take friends because it's consistently delicious.“

I had been searching all over DFW for a beautiful and affordable venue. When I stumbled across The Journey Cafe I was so relieved. Kim was easy to deal with and kept in contact with me over the months of planning. She calmed my nerves several times and even sent ideas for decor since this was a DIY wedding. The day of the wedding was a blur, but I had an amazing time with friends and family and was so happy to marry my new husband that I barely noticed any little hiccups that occurred. I danced, laughed, and danced some more. Everyone had a great time and complimented us on a beautiful wedding and great party. We didn't use the club portion of the house, but the guest appreciated all the bathrooms and the fire pit we used for s'mores.It's a very lovely location, and very affordably priced.“
