From the first time I walked in and heard the family banter between Monica and her sister and children, to the best German food this side of the Atlantic, I have been back again and again. Now I only get to go once or twice a year as I live in Tennessee (where I have yet to find comparable German fare). So Schnitzel is one of my “must do’s” every timeI am in the area. If you do not support this wonderful establishment then shame on you.“

“Tonight me and my boyfriend went to eat at J.wilson’s, they did not have what we ordered on the menu so the manager Dylan came up to ask if he could help. Well he suggested something else because they no longer carried that steak but still had it on the menu. On top of that the restaurant A/C was not working well at all and it was pretty hot in there. My boyfriend asked the manager why was it so hot in there. The manager proceeded to tell us that they had five new a/c units and it so happened they were not cooling like they should be. We were like well did you call and have somebody work on it maybe they need to be working on it now. The manager was like well I’ll call and see if they can come check to see what’s wrong and I’ll let you know. Well needless to say he never did come back and to tell us what they said. It was very unprofessional and he did not follow through with what he said he was gonna do so it was very miserably hot and on top of it we did not get what we wanted to order. “I'm in Beaumont a few times a year. I ALWAYS stop at Floyds when I am there. Honestly, it is the best thing that Beaumont TX. has going for it. My meal always includes their wonderful crab bisque and I usually have a fish steak- Tuna, Sword, etc blackened with the veggie side. They just do this so well. Every meal- and I have had quite a few over the last 12 years of going there, has been awesome! I recommend Floyds to all of my friends that come into TX. via I-10.“

Boy were we in for a treat, they had live music and wonderful vibes inside with the staff as well as the customers; all very friendly and welcoming!

“We went with our friends Kenny & Dena to eat at Charlie’s Bar-B-Que & Catering this afternoon in Beaumont. It is some of the best BBQ around. While eating we seen a picture of Charlie and Aaron Franklin standing together under a tent. Charlie’s wife came over to ask how our food was and I asked her about the picture, she proceeded to tell us how they received an invited to cook at Aaron Franklin’s BBQ cook off in Austin, she was so nice. After we finished our meal Charlie came out to check on something, and we stopped him and started talking with him about how he Smokes his meat, type of wood he uses….etc, he was such a super nice friendly guy to talk and visit with. I would highly recommend if your hungry for some BBQ, or need an event catered, to give them a try. Their BBQ is delicious. Oh, I almost forgot, then we went to DQ in Nederland for some ice cream to complete our evening of festivities……..LOL 😂“

“BEST BURRITOS EVERY! Also HUGE! I always have to cut it in half and can only eat a half. Then later that night or the next day I finish it. Plenty of options for what you want, burrito, nachos, etc. I've heard the nachos are amazing also i haven't tried them yet. They are open 24 hours!“

“Visited at around 5 on a Friday evening. Plenty of seating available, atmosphere was quiet and enjoyable. Appetizers were the stuffed mushrooms and onion petals. For the main course my wife ordered the bone in ribeye with a loaded bake potato and a side salad. My meal was the T bone with rice pilaf and a side of steamed broccoli. My wife asked for medium rare and received a medium rare steak. Seasoning was on point with a nice flame sear. The T bone was ordered rare and received as such. Again the seasoning and sear were perfect. We ordered a mixed drink for her (strawberry margarita) and I had a Mai Tai. Our server was courteous, considerate, and attentive. At no time did we feel pressured to rush a decision and periodically check to verify everything was satisfactory. For the quality of the food, prices were fairly set. The complimentary bread and butter were fantastic. We will definitely eat here again. The only detraction we found was the entry/exit setup. Customers have to exit through the same doors they entered. Exiting past waiting customer entering is a little congested and confusing.“

“Not only is this one of the few remaining Lubys in Texas it also has a drive-thru.

I ordered the cheese and bacon chopped steak combo meal. It comes with two sides and a roll. I also ordered a slice of the classic chocolate icebox pie. It was less than $18 and everything was absolutely delicious.

The young man who waited on me through the drive-thru was very helpful and they got my order out to me quickly“
