“I tried Smith’s BBQ for the first time today and it’s a bit of a mixed review. I had the four meat sampler (brisket, ribs, sausage and chicken) with green beans and baked beans. The ribs were good but not memorable and the brisket was a bit chewy BUT, the sausage and chicken were EXCELLENT. The baked beans were simple but perfect. They reminded me of a family picnic. In my opinion, the green beans were OUTSTANDING and the star of the show. Very unique flavor that hit the taste buds like WOW! I found out through my wife AFTER, when the waiter headed to lie to us 2x telling us she told us that everything BUT the brisket (which I didn't want) was pork. She did mention they had chicken and turkey, but those are poultry(not kosher meats).

This review was not intended to put down the business but to call attention to the waitress that lied to us after the fact. My wife there took me to get some beef ribs because we have been trying to get some from outback,Texas Roadhouse, Cheddar's and was not successful.
Just to be told by the waiter that the ribs and rest of the meats were made out of pork only. It's the lying I can't stand.
(I have changed the review to 4 Star so you know my intentions)

“Anyone that doesn’t give this spot a five star review is bonkers. Best customer service! Owner was such a pleasure to speak with. Food was absolutely amazing and reasonably priced. I will definitely be back.

I got the chicken sandwich and don’t even think I chewed my food. Inhaled it- it was so dam good.

I will say the parking lot is small. If you get there at a busy hour you’ll have to park on the side street by some houses. I went around 1:30 and even though the lot was filled due to it being next to a bar there was parking relatively close and absolutely no one in the separate dining area behind the truck with a whole bar set up. Absolutely peaceful.“

“This place has the best tamales and baracoa ever! I have been going here for many many years. I started eating here when I was a young girl. My grandmother use to work here before she had passed. This place will be the ultimate place to pick up tamales and baracoa. Every time I visit, this is a must stop! The meat is so tender and delicious. I buy it by the pounds! The tamales are always so good and fresh usually buy more than a few dozens. If you are in the area and have never stopped in please do! This is a hidden gem with the most authentic delicious food I have ever tasted!“
