“I used to deliver here over 30 years ago when i worked for Braun beef. Always wanted to eat her because everybody was always positive and the restaurant always smelled great. I had seen the reviews on tiktok and reminded me about this place. Holy hell! The chilaquiles plate was one of the best I've had! The refried beans are really tasty! Papas rancheras were great, and the barbacoa was perfect! 10/10 i will be back!“

“I just ate there today I had the asada plate & my mom got the cheeseburger w/fries & my husband had the Nicks tacos & we all 100% recommend this place to eat. Also was a very clean restaurant & friendly/nice waitress she did check up on us multiple times. All around great food & great service. we will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. 👍“

“My grandparents owned several businesses in the area and as a child we would go there for lunch. I visited the restaurant last Wednesday for the first time in over 60 years. The food and service were excellent and authentic. I visited with several staff members to share my story and found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend visitors to San Antonio to eat at the Blue Moon.“

“We just moved into the neighborhood less than a year ago. I always go through the drive through to pick up tacos for the fam. My wife and I finally decided to go in and sit for breakfast. OMG!! The huevos rancheros plate was absolutely delicious. We are going to be regulars for sure. Highly recommend.

“Very clean tables and no trash on floors. Menudo was worth getting...tender tripe, plenty pozole, broth was thick. Dressed up Menudo with lemon, onions, pepper, and spicy red salsa. Corn tortillas were homemade... delicious with butter. Papa ranchero taco, over stuffed and not water-based, awesome.“

“Their food is what you truly call HOMEMADE AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD♥️♥️♥️ I have menudo in sooo many restaurants but this menudo is like going back in time to your mama’s kitchen ! Deliciousness in its true form. The tripas are CLEANED before dried & the tortillas are so soft & well cooked - not that white warmed over stuff u get at other places. “Excellent restaurant. Tortillas were handmade - tender but with enough body not to fall apart around taco fillings. Food was well prepared, with lots of flavor. Papas rancheras and bewn and cheese were on point. Highly recommend and will be returning for more on the menu. Friendly and attentive service and great value.
