“I cannot say enough great things about Armstrong’s! I usually get the crawfish étouffée and it’s ALWAYS delicious and only $10 for a generous portion. Today I ordered the gumbo $13, and it’s equally amazing! Their portion sizes are great, food is consistently delicious, and the service is fast. Definitely a great place for good Cajun cuisine in Waco, located amongst the many great restaurants/food vendors in Union Hall.“

“The tent is much bigger this year, so more tables are covered. The staff is efficient which is important to pull this off. I like it that you buy tickets now so you're not holding up the line while you decide what you want. The bugs were fantastic! I thought the shrimp was a little over cooked, but everyone else at the table loved it. This is always one of our favorite crawfish events.“

“Definitely a great first experience dining here. I was greeted at the door by the very friendly employee working the counter. The salsa that came out with the chips was actually really good, and my food was delivered very promptly after I placed my order. The soup was better than I expected, with just enough variety of seafood to leave me wanting another bite despite being full. Will definitely come here again!“

“I wish I would have taken a picture of the food we ordered because it looked and tasted delicious. The carnitas were so tender and had great flavor. Also loved their lemonade. The service was great and our waitress took really good care of us. Definitely recommend.“

“My family and I decided to get LJS on Thursday, little did we know it was going to POUR down HUGE BUCKETS of rain that day!! By the time I got to the restaurant, they said that the power was going on and off, but wanted to help me get my order!! I didn’t get any names but the lady that took my order was poised, present and extremely kind and went through all the options for family meals that they had, since the drive thru menu board was offline due to the power. I placed my order, and the manager even gave me a free drink since I had to wait a little bit while they were preparing my food. (It was a lemonade, my favorite!!) I appreciate the team of workers that got my order to me in a decent timeframe considering they were dealing with electrical issues from the rain. I had to maneuver carefully back home because many roads were flooding, but I thankfully got home safely, the food was still hot, and we enjoyed a candlelit dinner at home with LJS because our power went out, due to the storm, Lol, but at least we were safe, and our bellies were full!! Thanks LJS WACO, TEXAS!!!!!!“
