“My go-to sushi restaurant that my family and I have been going to for over 2 years! The gentleman who owns and runs it is the most welcoming and friendliest person we've met! “The interior of the restaurant was such a vibe for a late Monday night. We were so happy to find a restaurant that was open late during the weekday. Our server was so friendly and suggestive. We had the chicken katsu don and the spicy tuna roll and a house salad. The breading on the Katsu was so good and crunchy. The tuna paired perfectly with the dressing my salad had. “Stopped in on 4/27 for dinner - it was a quick decision since we were on a tight schedule and never looked at the reviews, simply in the mood for sushi and it was close to us.Upon arrival, seemed like a normal restaurant in a shopping center but as soon as we walked in, we were transported to another place. She returned with the drinks and an iPad and we were to order from there. I will say, it felt a little disconnected service wise since everything was done from the iPad but it wasn’t a deal breaker.I had a seaweed salad, along with a Hairmex roll rainbow roll, and my husband had a fried California roll and the Golden Triangle roll.Wow! The Hairmex was our favorite! Probably one of the best tempura rolls I’ve ever had! Delicious, fresh, and so flavorful. The most disappointing was the rainbow roll but it wasn’t bad, just felt it was lacking a bit.We were a little thrown off we had to ask for ginger and wasabi, I thought that was a no brainer, however, our plates didn’t include them.Overall, delicious sushi in a beautiful setting! “Went here Easter Sunday 1 hour before closing time and could not have received better service. There was 1 other table eating and we ordered 3 courses and were not rushed a single bit. Egg drop soup was legit, general chicken was on point. And even the fortune cookies were good... Well as good as a fortune cookie can be. We also had mules and mojitos, they were refreshing and reasonably priced.“

“We were wanting to try a ramen place that we had never eaten at before. Hoshi Ramen is in a shopping strip off Keller Main St and parking was a lille packed. We were served with water quickly and gave our order, and the food came out super fast. My wife ordered the seafood pancake and Texan tonkotsu ramen. I ordered chicken karrage and a large spicy bulgolggi tonkotsu ramen. The pancake and karrage were delicious, in fact the karrage might be the best I've had in a while. The ramen was really good, I would not put in my top 5, but it still was really good. I would recommend Hoshi Ramen as a good ramen spot.“

I'm a stickler for service, so I won't get upset that I was not adequately greeted when I came in the door with my wife. However, once I was acknowledged, the staff did treat me very well. Atmosphere is a 3. Only because it was a very slow night, and there were some dirty tables around us that the staff cleaned up at their leisure in terms of value for food. “Ended up getting the creamy crab eggrolls, viet spice wings, and classic fried rice. My jaw DROPPED. The crab eggrolls were phenomenal all around and was a great mix with the sweet/sour chili sauce. The fried rice was pretty good and the viet spice wings are definitely a must try! Only thing I noticed is that it is pretty greasy, so I just had to dab it with a paper towel. For anyone that buys the fried rice, they do come in rather large portions so be mindful on how much you order :P Overall, definitely worth it and will come back again!“

I was craving some sushi and searched for local sushi spots nearby that were still open. Icafe came up and I've passed this restaurant up a million times however I've had my reservations. Well...No More Reservations! If anyone is doubting whether or not to give this place a try stop doubting and do it! First let's touch on the service. The young lady whom took my order was super sweet, she greeted me with a smile and was very pleasant. Thats always a bonus for me when I encounter great customer service. She offered me a seat and stated that she would bring my order out as I chose to dine in. I ordered the Cajun Sushi Roll and Wow, this sushi did not disappoint. Might I add there was a little kick to the sushi but it wasn't unbearable, it just made it flavorful. Also, the sushi was topped with crawfish and avocado. Oh and while dining in, I noticed this restaurant received a lot of delivery orders. Just an FYI for those whom may want some sushi via a delivery service. Overall, the only thing I was disappointed in was myself because it took me sooo long to try this restaurant. I would recommend anyone craving some good sushi to come in and give it a try. 5 stars for me!“

“You have to try their Plum wine sake! This is a good sushi place. They have good lunch specials with the bento boxes. We went on Valentines and they were definitely not prepared for the crowd they had but I’ve been before and never had issues with service. Definitely recommend for a casual lunch or dinner.“

Nori was a little stale, ginger pickle was a little too spicy, and salad dressing wasn’t typical (and not quite as good as the usual Japanese dressing). The California roll wasn’t the usual either. I’m guessing the restaurant is not Japanese owned. But, overall, ok. Certainly not the best you can get. Good value, because it was on sale. Too expensive at list prices online.“

Not crazily oily either which is awesome! I like that they have a choice of a free tea or 50% off special drinks when you order a meal. That's so neat, although I've only gotten their milk tea. Milk tea tastes watered down, but hey, it was for free and wasn't the worst, so whatever. Other people came in to order just their drinks, so I'm sure the other choices are good. Service and time to get food was fast. The young lady in the front was so kind and patient with me since it was my first time there. I got the orange chicken with fried rice combo. Food came piping hot! Like, PIPING. Not the sit on the counter with the heat lamp kind of deal. PIPING. Orange chicken was great, and so were the orange slices. Other reviews said to try it with chili oil, and it did not disappoint! The interior is nice and cozy, with some cute crane machines and decor that really brought out the Asianness of the store lol. “The food was fresh and delicious! The garlic stir fry was a great choice with combo meats and the pineapple stir fried rice with shrimp was scrumptious with fresh, grilled fruit. We started with crab rangoon- really good! The Thai tea was tasty, as well. The only thing not fully satisfying was the spring rolls, they weren’t bad, just not as good as everything else we ordered. However, the sweet and sour sauce more than made up for it.. it tasted as if it is made in house and was yummy..we dined in and the atmosphere was okay but could use a bit of freshening up. “I ordered here a couple times, so I cannot say anything for the Atmosphere or Service inside the Restaurant. But I got take-out Sushi twice and the Mongolian beef with white rice. The sushi is SO good!! yes, it is pricey but there are still more expensive places around that will take over 20$ for a roll of sushi. I love the New Mexico roll, they have 50 state rolls, but this one is my absolut favorite. The mongolian beef was good as well, just a little oily for some reason. But I will definitely get sushi again soon!“

“One-person operation but gets the job done and he's great at showing up which is difficult on base sometimes. Usually only 2 entree options but you can combine them. Lately it's been beef Bulgolgi (though somewhat dry) and a jeyuk (pork in a mild-spicy dressing) with kimchi, common hotdog side or other side, clear noodles, rice, and yellow pickled radish. He brings a good atmosphere with his novelty radio playing music and he's very friendly. Bulgolgi might be a bit dry but that is my only mild complaint and you won't leave hungry.“
