“We were in town for the weekend, so we wanted something familiar for my gluten-free teen. Mari was very polite and helpful. The restaurant was clean and service was quick. My kid got the shrimp Baja tacos and I ended up getting my usual, chicken nachos. Probably the most balanced nachos I've ever gotten. Plenty of cheese and chicken to support all of the chips. Definitely a great place to stop if you're in the area.”

“We tried Eggsquisite Cafe in Waxahachie for brunch after church. The wait time was shorter than anticipated. At our table we were greeted with a smile by Cheyenne C. She was very sweet, personable and knowledgeable. We ordered a turkey, avocado, bacon wrap with sweet potato fries & fried okra to split. She had it splt for us before bringing it out. Our food was delivered quickly and was delicious. Even split we couldn't eat it all, so a to-box it was. Everything was perfect but the best part of our visit was Cheyenne and her sweet personality. We will definitely be back.”

“I love that there is something for everyone here. The flavor of each dish we’ve tried has been delicious! The tortellini with vodka sauce, chicken Alfredo, and antipasto salad have been favorites of ours. My family loves the pasta and the fresh bread they bring to the table. We easily go through a couple of baskets of bread. I enjoy the antipasto salad and find it very satisfying. The ingredients always taste fresh and the service is quick and friendly. This can be a great option if you’re shopping in for a quick lunch or dining for dinner. We’ve been here several times and the food is consistently good.”

“My adult grandson & I had the best breakfast earlier today. The Steel Cut Oatmeal bowl is served with berries, fresh sliced banana, pecans, reduced-fat milk, brown sugar and a freshly baked muffin of the day.

I had the Sunrise Granola Bowl which contained freshly made granola, vanilla greek yogurt, blueberries, chunk of pineapples & strawberries with a freshly baked muffin of the day.

“My husband and I recently visited Applebee’s to celebrate our marriage, and we had an amazing experience from start to finish! We started with the Spinach Artichoke Dip, which was absolutely delicious and the perfect appetizer to share.

For our meals, my husband ordered the Fiesta Lime Chicken with a House Salad, and I ordered the Half Rack of Hot Honey Glaze Ribs. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We were both very impressed with the quality of the food.

What really made our visit special was our server, Steven. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our entire meal. He checked on us regularly, made sure everything was just right, and helped make our celebration even more memorable.

“I love almost everything on their menu. They usually make great sandwiches. I was slightly disappointed today though because the shredded lettuce was yellow. Not rotten, but taken from deep inside the lettuce; the part I don't normally eat when I make a salad. I prefer the outer green leaves of the lettuce which tastes less bitter to me. Small complaint to be sure, but for those of you who are as picky as I am, it might make a difference.

The rest of my sandwich was great. I love their tomatoes and roast beef and the wheat bread. Eveeything tasted relatively fresh. They make a far better sandwich than I ever could at home.”

We visited on the first weekend after lockdown restrictions ended for a belated 20th wedding anniversary celebration.We booked a table for drinks with a special request for the window seat in the Actors bar. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and congratulated on our anniversary then shown to the window seat. Table service from the landlord Sam and his team was faultless and friendly. When we got the bill, Sam had given us our first 2 drinks free which was such a lovely touch and made me quite emotional. They had left one of our drinks off the bill so we fessed up and Sam gave us a happy anniversary 'Dirty Duck' post card. Pubs have been so harshly hit by restrictions and we were so touched by their exceptional service. Thanks Sam. You made our weekend. Best of luck for the future. See you again soon.”

“I’d been looking for a restaurant that served good black bean burgers near my house and thankfully I found Branded Burger Company. I ordered on DoorDash and as soon as I got it I was amazed at how big was and delicious it tasted. I added avocados and mushrooms to it as well as the lettuce pickles and onions that came on the side.

The fries were also tasty and seasoned well. I will absolutely be ordering from here again when I’m ready for another one of my favorites. It’s nice to have a pace with good veggie options. Thanks BBC!!
