“We tried Eggsquisite Cafe in Waxahachie for brunch after church. The wait time was shorter than anticipated. At our table we were greeted with a smile by Cheyenne C. She was very sweet, personable and knowledgeable. We ordered a turkey, avocado, bacon wrap with sweet potato fries & fried okra to split. She had it splt for us before bringing it out. Our food was delivered quickly and was delicious. Even split we couldn't eat it all, so a to-box it was. Everything was perfect but the best part of our visit was Cheyenne and her sweet personality. We will definitely be back.”

“This is our second time at the waxahatchie location. Our first exp was at the red oak location.

The service is always great and friendly and fast. Last time we had a pizza and wine and it was amazing. This time we had the mozzarella sticks and stuffed mushrooms. I would not recommend the mushrooms. They're different the the red oak ones and better there. I had the tour and it was good though the breaded Parmesan not sure if it was chicken or what but it was hard and chewy. The Alfredo is delicious and so is the lasagna. Also we had the seafood Alfredo it was amazing. I would definitely go back but after here twice I prefer the red oak location.”

“This location is my favorite. I just love everything about FISH CITY Grill. Shout out to Kasey and Mike two great managers who will make sure your experience is everything. Now make sure you try some Gumbo, fried green tomatoes, shrimp or catfish po’boy . Weekly specials are listed on the chalk board. I recently had the crab cake BLT.”

“Our wedding was in June 2025, and the cakes and cupcakes were absolutely amazing!
We did the cake-tasting box, which was so fun, and picked a lemon cake with cream cheese icing and a raspberry drizzle. We had a variety of cupcakes, including chocolate, cookie dough, and lemon. We opted to have the bite-sized cupcakes and the traditional-sized cupcakes. Once the night was over, we had 8 cupcakes left due to everyone enjoying them so much. We had just enough cake left to keep the top tier for our first anniversary and have a couple pieces each a couple days after the wedding.
To this day, we keep getting asked who baked the cake and cupcakes.
This company is absolutely amazing, and we will for sure be stopping here every chance we get.
We are incredibly thrilled that we chose them to make our desserts for our wedding day.

Standard large iced latte comes with 3 shots of espresso (a shot more than some of the big chain companies). Making the espresso to milk ratio fantastic! To my surprise, it’s actually an authentic not so little, scratch kitchen! The service was wonderful and so was our meal! It was very clean and the decor was tasteful, pretty, and Valentine’s themed. My guess is they go all out for every holiday as they were gearing up for Easter. My only complaint is that you’re going to need quite a few extra minutes to decide what to order as the menu is super eclectic and everything down to the garnish is strategic perfection. This place is great for a quick breakfast bite, a business luncheon, or a girl’s day out complete with brunch, creative cocktails, and a coffee selection that requires their own barista! I live about 20 minutes away, but I will gladly make the drive and pass by at least 5 other similar spots just to get to those funnel cake waffles and mimosa flights! 😍”

“Our church group went here last Saturday afternoon after a church singing. We had about 20 people and we got seated immediately. Heather was our server. Let me tell you folks. She is amazing! Got our drink orders quickly. Remembered what we were drinking, which is mind boggling! Got our food out very quickly and of course it was delicious. Then she split our checks up into about 15-16 separate bills. I highly recommend this place and try to get heather as your server. Great job all around, Cotton Patch! Thank you. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼”

“As I had never ordered from here, and being new to the area, I thought their menu sounded pretty good, so I took a leap of faith! I'm really glad I did, and as I did not try out the tortillas, I had the birria tacos and birria ramen, with a chicken flaunta plate (with rice and beans) and it did not disappoint. Each came with three to an order, and the ramen even came with its own birria taco on the side; the flaunts arrived crispy and hot. The one thing I haven't been able to get out of my mind was their "Salsa Falsa". It's a green, jalapeno-based salsa, that is smooth, creamy and has the perfect hint of spice! I could put that on everything...and I didvuntil it ran out! You can order the salsas in larger portions as well, which a should've done in the first place. Give them a try, I ordered from Door Dash, so I'm not sure about the service and storefront, but verything was great!”

The resturant itself is showing lots of wear (loose bench, and wobbly table) the ladies' restroom was questionable- one of the toilet seats was missing chunks and the floor was stickier than a movie theather. But over all a good food stop on a drive.”

My husband had Steak and I had Chicken and both plates were the same temperature. Maybe turn up heat on warming plates. Our original plan was to dine in but once we sat down with lukewarm food we decided to take home and rewarm.”

I had ordered a pizza, salad and bought 2 beers. They have all the other pizza places beat by a long mile. I would definitely recommend this place to dine in! Hope that y'all don't change anything. The only thing is that they definitely have the a/c blasting pretty good, a little too cold for my wife and she was even wearing a sweatshirt.
