“This Cheddars is definitely my family's and i preferred to go spot over any of the others ! April and Steve has this place structured and in tact with much respect from the staff ! April sticks her neck out for any staff member that screws up just to make sure the customers are satisfied...literally she doesn't miss ! “We ordered bacon cheeseburger, grilled chicken burger, fish burger, and half & half fried chicken. The burgers were amazing, and the portions were huge! I especially loved the fish burger. The half & half fried chicken was the best - super tender and savory.
The owner is very friendly. A must try and totally worth the visit!“

“Ok so def mixed feelings about here. Pozole, chilaquiles, quesadillas and watermelon lemonade were all literally amazing. No doubt food was on point. Here’s my concerns. No chips until we were sitting there for 20 mins. We also waited 42 mins for our food. Table behind us got the same thing and got their food before us. I went up there and said something and from one server I was told “I don’t know what’s going on”. Then cashier told me “she would check and she didn’t know what was going on”. Cashier was sweet and did try to help. I think they skipped our order and when she went back there that’s when they made it. Food is a 9.5. My drink was a 10. Service is a 2! If we weren’t in such a hurry, it probably wouldn’t have been as big of a deal but because it made us late for a baby shower it definitely was a big deal. I’ll def be back and hopefully the experience will be better.“

“We ordered Thanksgiving dinner for 4 with turkey, dressing, and all the trimmings! Heated it up on Thanksgiving and boy was it good! Nothing dry, and all tasted fresh like someone spent hours in the kitchen. I hope Luby's does this again at Christmas time with a ham! I'll be the first in line to pick up my to go box!“

Our server Tracy was the best she took the time to explain the non seafood items on the menu and I went with the chicken pasta. It was so good. “A group of ladies came together for a Christmas exchange of gifts, good conversation, and good food. I ordered a ham and Swiss cheese on rye with chips. The rye bread was fresh and the ham was a thick slice. The sandwich was very good. I also ordered a cupcake and I was a bit disappointed with it. It was very dry and crumbly and the icing tasted commercial. The serving of apple pie one lady got was generous and the cookies were very good. Prices were quite reasonable. Plenty of seating in the cafe. It was a very nice lunch.“

“UPDATE: They have changed the menu up, increased prices, economically forced, yet the service was very good, food came out hot & fresh and was overall a pleasant lunch.
We like the seafood well enough, yet service should be exceptional at a seafood restaurant. Service was anything but that tonight. Even setting at the bar it took over 10 minutes and a call to the manager to get drinks while we waited on our table. Once we were seated at the table, the waiter was courteous, except I'll be damned if he would take one single dirty dish or glass from the table. And seriously, nobody should have to ask their waiter or waitress 2 or 3 times for anything. Once, seriously should be enough. I hate to say this, but after going here for over 15 years, I think it's time to move on.“
