“Nice, clean cafe with fresh food. The cranberry chicken salad is my fave. They serve it on your bread of choice with a pickle, potato salad or chips, and a mini pumpkin muffin. Their pies are out of this world, but the Coca-Cola cake lets me time travel to my childhood.“

“I go with a very small group almost every Saturday. The omelets are DEliscious along with the home fries. I’ve never been disappointed with anything at City Cafe! “I was pleasantly surprised with Soulfreak! Would definitely recommend visiting for coffee and with the kids. It's conveniently located in the park, the play area is just out side and you can even monitor your kids if your inside because of the big windows.

Lots of outdoor seating, too and all shaded by the huge oak trees. Overall, just a really relaxing atmosphere. I'm a remote worker, and always looking for the new, best coffee shop. Can't wait to go back again!“

HUGE shout out to the workers on the shift around 1ish. Even though they were in a huge rush they still made my drinks amazing and in a timely manner. It was really busy in there but I love how they always kept a smile on their faces and made the customers laugh/smile!! Yes sugar high inducing delights that flood you with memories of Christmas shopping in the late 80s with your grandma and you took a break in the food court before hitting up sears for some sweet flannel. She let you get a cookie the size of your head or one packed with frosting. Yes I now spoil my kids on their birthday with this mess of sugar. Always dear to my heart.“

“I highly recommend this Café. I ordered to go as I’m leaving state after breakfast, but the girl that helped me carry my drinks out was super sweet. Not being from Texas I was curious about everything on the land and she was very informative (I should’ve gotten her name). I ordered the Sycamore 2s which was 2 pancakes (choice of 1/2 waffle or 2 slices French toast), 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of bacon (choice of sausage also). I got my son an order of French toast, and a friend the brunch burger. Everything was AMAZING. The server mentioned Mondays they have a mimosa special (she told me exactly but I forget it). I like over medium eggs and this is the first place I’ve been that’s gotten my eggs PERFECT the first time around. It’s an adorable little café and there’s a wedding venue in the back. I highly recommend trying their food if you haven’t before. I took photos but it won’t let me add them to my review.“
