“The food and taste was impeccable. Texture was light and finished clean on every dish. The waiter and the manager was also very friendly and pleasant to be around. We were a bit underdressed for the occasion, but they made us feel really comfortable and at home. The waiter was very extensive and knowledgeable of the menu, he made sure ask what our likes and dislikes, allergies, etc. and this were and genuinely made our experience. I would recommend dining here on the occasional splurge.”

“Great service at the bar. Even though I didn’t drink. Cheese enchilada plate with rice and beans. Two tacos harina Al carbon and a flan cake for $40ish. Really good tasting food, inexpensive. Loved it!”

“1/12/2025-This is a awesome vibe here. The ambiance is a nice bistro with some crazy art to keep you entertained but the music and lighting sets the mood. I would come back here again and again. I visited here without a reservation and was greeted when I first came in. The staff was nice friendly and attentive. Emma was awesome and recommended some dishes. The burger, half chicken, rice, and sesame butter cookie were awesome and the drinks. I had the voodoo drink. I highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.”

“I was so busy eating this magnificent food that I forgot to take pics!!! This establishment is a must!! If you are a foodie you must go there asap! The combination of the foods and flavors have that undeniable "WOW" factor!!! I apologize for not taking pics because the presentation is fabulous too of course!!”

“We stumbled upon this restaurant when we were in the area and decided to go in because it looks super cute. The food didn’t disappoint! We ordered sourdough bread, a salad, and a fresh pasta, all taste good. My favorite is the tiramisu!! Not too sweet and very light, fresh and refreshing. The price is a little high for the portion but good quality.”

“We flew from Pensacola FL and had to visit. When I saw EVERYTHING was on point and delicious. Staff was so friendly, food was hot & fresh and I have NEVER had better tasting food from a restaurant. “We enjoyed an incredible dinner at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse on Westheimer Road in Houston. The ambiance was refined and inviting, setting the stage for a memorable evening; though the lively atmosphere made it a bit noisy at times. We both opted for the 8 oz filet mignon paired with au gratin potatoes, and every bite was outstanding. The steak was exceptionally tender, bursting with rich, savory flavor, while the potatoes were decadently cheesy and the perfect complement. To finish, we shared a slice of key lime pie, which struck the ideal balance between tart and sweet. Our waitress was fantastic—warm, attentive, and instrumental in making the experience even more enjoyable. From start to finish, it was a top-tier dining experience!”

“Went to Refuge Bar for a couple drinks and honestly ended up having such a great time. They do have a two hour limit on our table, but everything we tried was excellent and the bartenders were incredibly attentive the entire night.

They gave great recommendations from the start, and by the end of the night, after drink number four and a shot, we were blindly trusting them to just pick our drinks for us. Zero regrets.

Huge shoutout to Julia, Alexander, and I believe the third bartender was Eric. You guys were awesome, welcoming, fun, and clearly know what you’re doing.
