“Very impressed with Cosmic Kitchen. It’s a little gem for Vegetarians. There’s nothing fancy or pretentious about this place. It just feels like home. The amazing food and warmth of the family run kitchen really makes it special. The staff and owners are lovely. Food is cooked fresh and it just reminds me of my time back in South India. We really enjoyed everything. Food is very reasonable priced and it’s a great bang for your buck.“

“We highly recommend Cafe Italia (Ira Woods Grapevine location). Nick and his team are awesome. The food is amazing! Fresh salads, delicious bread, large portions in a romantic, as well as family friendly environment. BYOB, plenty of parking, fast service and very reasonable prices. We recently hosted our daughter’s engagement party at Cafe Italia, with 22 adults and 4 children attending. Everything was perfect! Albert, Arturo, Patty and team were wonderful! Everyone loved it We will always consider Cafe Italia our favorite Grapevine area restaurant.“

The food was wonderful, and our waiter Jose did an excellent job checking on us but not becoming annoying by constantly asking if we needed anything. We sat near the bar which was a tad noisy, but the booth we were seated in was uncomfortable and better suited for larger people b/c the table is too far away from the seats. And our table had an uneven wood surface as we cut into our food. Lastly, the $2.50 discount for Police/Fire/Vets should be a little more ... say 15%. Otherwise, it was an outstanding dining experience.“

“2.5/5 stars The problem is the service and food level deterioration as the lunch buffet window, 1130-230, progresses into the later portions. The first and previous time, we hit the buffet right at opening at 1130 am. Everything was hot, fresh, and plentiful. Was really impressed with staff, decor, and ambience. Food was well above average. It's clear they are trying very hard. My/our 2nd visit, party of 3, was at ~130 pm. Few items were out. Sadly, the other 2 in the party found the experience below my earlier top billing. Most of my fav dishes: The few tandoori chicken remaining were stone cold. The butter chicken ran out. The goat curry ran out the 2nd trip to the table. What came subsequently was not the same taste, subpar. Perhaps the management can address these issues and consider this as genuinely helpful feedback. Restaurant biz is notorious for these issues that slowly creep in. I did note the manager talk and motion to his employee to keep up with replenishment in a timely manner on my request. Given the great first visit, and two carry-outs from their 2nd location, we would consider another review after management addresses these issues. The most recent visit was a letdown. Cheers!!“

“Love this authentic and delicious Turkish restaurant! It is a jewel!! My husband and I dine here at least once a week. The staff and owner, Genghis, are friendly and eager to please. The food is always fresh, house made, and delicious! Highly recommended for those craving healthy and tasty food in a pleasant, sit-down atmosphere. Takeout is also available. Their baklava and hot tea are comforting ways to top off your dining experience!“

“My family and I celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday at Truluck’s in Southlake, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish.
We had a reservation for 7:15 PM for a fairly large group of nine people. Our table wasn’t quite ready when we arrived because the party before us needed a little extra time, and since we were a big group there weren’t many tables that could accommodate us. The manager, Mike, came over personally to apologize for the delay and told me he wanted to make sure my mom had a memorable birthday celebration.
We were seated around 7:30 PM—honestly only about 15 minutes late, which didn’t bother me at all—but Mike insisted on sending complimentary appetizers while we waited. I told him it wasn’t necessary, but he very politely insisted. To our surprise he sent six appetizers: two shrimp cocktails, two crab cakes, and two orders of calamari. It was incredibly generous and such a classy gesture.
Our server Kyle was spectacular. He was friendly, attentive, and handled a table of nine with ease. Service like that makes a big difference, and he absolutely delivered.
The food and wine were phenomenal. The seafood was incredibly fresh and the steaks were excellent. I had the shrimp and scallop sauté and added an 8 oz filet because I couldn’t decide—no regrets. The Parker House rolls were a massive hit with the table (buttery, warm, slightly crisp on the outside), and we ended up ordering four baskets.
To top off the evening, they surprised us with two complimentary Baked Alaska desserts that were big enough for the entire table to share—not just the birthday girl.
I can’t say enough about how well Mike and Kyle treated our family. They went above and beyond to make my mom’s 70th birthday special.
Truluck’s Southlake is now our go-to spot for special occasions. We’ll absolutely be back.“

“We have been dining at this wonderful family-owned business for for 12 years now. As we have moved farther and farther away, we still make our way over there periodically because their margherita pizza is our all-time favorite. Tonight we went back for first time in over a year and the owner pulled me aside and asked if she could speak to me. She said the last time we were in there (again, over a year ago) they had accidentally mixed up our check with another table and over-charged us by $12.62. She even showed me the checks that she had saved, knowing we would be back. She credited our meal back what we had over-paid a year ago. Y’all! This does not happen! We will always be loyal customers, even though we currently have to drive an hour to get there. Oh! And you can’t go wrong with the margherita pizza (or the spinach ravioli)!“
