“We stopped in at this little gem on the way home from Zoofari. It’s a gas station but in the back of the store is a cafe with really good food. We spoke to the chef and she’s got a lot of cooking experience.I had the roast beef open faced sandwich and the meat was so tender it melted in your mouth. The mashed potatoes and gravy were homemade and delicious.My mom got the fried chili burrito and she enjoyed it.Get there early for the Italian cream cake! We missed it.“
“Where do I start? Menu was HUGE! Didn't even know what to order, but was helped out by staff to order the on-special chicken fried steak. They informed me that mashed potatoes were boiled fresh and by hand/scratch every day, so I got that as well, plus okra. It was amazing. Choice of white or brown gravy, went with white, and it was delicious. Super cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service, good food, and decent prices. What's not to like? And with the huge menu, I'll be coming back multiple times to try all the things. A+“
