“First went there earlier this year, impressed us the minute we walked in the door, employees greet you upon entering with a truly warm, illuminating smile. When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! The waitress who waited on us ( can't remember her name ) was exactly like the manager, helpful, courteous and quick with her service, thus resulting in making this our favorite location for watching sports with the drinks and menu items to order, with this type service, we will always make this our number 1 location !! “I had a quarterly meeting today in San Antonio. My husband was looking up places by the Cypress building and we found Armadillos Texas Style Burgers. I was greeted quickly and chose my booth. I ordered in 3 mins. Received my food in 5 mins. This was the fastest service I have ever had. I arrived to my meeting 10 mins early and I was happy and my belly was full. I appreciate the atmosphere, my waitress and the kitchen. Thank yall for a memorable time!!“

“Overall, it's a really cool dive. It has a pretty diverse group of regulars that are all really friendly. The pool tables are decent but you kinda gotta share the space with the darts. Super good servers. It's a place you can make friends. I'm not a regular, but I have been there maybe 20 times in 3 years. Especially for the area, it's the place to go for decent company, decent drinks, at a decent price.“

He took the time to explain the bar’s theme and share a bit about the place, which added a nice personal touch.
