“Wow, I have so many positive things to say about the restaurant experience I have that I don’t even know where to start. First of, the owner was incredibly gracious and personable. He jokes with us, made us laugh, and was generous with his time and attention.

However that is just the beginning. While the exterior may be unsuspecting the food was INCREDIBLE. By far the best seafood I have had in SLC. The appetizer salad was tangy and refreshing. The whole menu was unique and so fresh!“

“I was dissapointed with the lack of veggies in my bowl. Granted, it has been a few years since I have been to Rumbi, but I remember having a lot of veggies that came with the bowl- not extra. Maybe things have changed. I was pleased with the amount of meat in the bowl, but it needs more that meat, rice, and a TBSP of beans!“

We ordered cocktails, which came quickly and were rather good but when we asked to order appetizers our server informed us that the kitchen preferred for appetizer and meal orders to placed at the same time, as a result our meal arrived seconds after finishing appetizers, leaving us feeling rushed. Our server didn't check to see if we wanted additional cocktails or wine with our dinner so we had to hunt him down. All of our previous experiences at Matteo have been lovely, nice relaxed interaction with the staff; cocktail, wine and food recommendations were always given; owners walking around greeting and interacting with patrons...we did not experience this last weekend.“

“Tonight my family went to Manoil’s. Wow. What a joy. I can’t recall what these dishes were called so beautifully on the menu—but I’ve tried my best in being simple in describing them. We ordered the risotto, orzo, lamb, octopus, olives, potatoes, and arugula salad. Every single thing was so freshly prepared, dressed, and cooked to invite delight. Thank you so much.“

“I think that Ruth’s Chris steakhouse is my most favorite and most popular restaurant for me to go there and eat really good food from there and my favorite food from there was there chicken breast and mashed potatoes and lobster bisque soup and hot buttery rolls and chocolate cake for dessert and it was really good and delicious and I would totally eat it all again and touring the restaurant with the owner and meeting the staff was also a fun experience to also and if I were to rate the restaurant on a scale of one to ten I would definitely give it a solid ten out of ten rating from my time visiting the restaurant and I would totally recommend the restaurant to anyone who would like to go to the restaurant to eat there and enjoy the experience there !!“

“I came here with my wife and our son and daughter-in-law while on a vacation from California. Friends of ours recommended Squatters Pub - and it did not disappoint! Ian took good care of us with some spot-on recommendations for food and drinks. We opted to share the Carnitas Street Tacos, Hot Honey Sausage Pizza, and Bacon Topped Meatloaf - all were amazing! Our group enjoyed a cocktail, beer flight, and their Citra IPA. Great stuff!“

I decided to DoorDash some soup and some kids meals for my grandbabies. I just want to say thank you so much. My order was exactly how I ordered it, and my grandbabies love their kid meals. “Robin’s Nest in downtown Salt Lake is an absolute gem. The service was incredible from the moment we walked in — super friendly, and you could tell they really cared about making sure everything was perfect.

We picked up sandwiches for the whole family, and every single one was amazing. Fresh ingredients, great flavor combinations, and the bread was perfect. You can really taste the quality in everything they make.

It was such a great experience overall. Definitely planning on going back, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great sandwich spot in Salt Lake.“

“This was our 1st time eating here, and we loved it!! I ordered the puffy pitas (they come with 3) and it was so filling. I was completely full after two. My husband got their signature wrap, which he liked, but said it was difficult to eat. The street cart fries were good...lots of olives. The feta cheese was legit. I'll order the puffy pitas again,l (prob the combo of one puffy pita with fries), and looking forward to trying other menu items, too.“

“This was an amazing dinner! The place came highly rated by my Uber driver as the best Thai food in SLC and it did not disappoint. I had the curry and it was delightfully seasoned and graciously served. The taste was nothing short of delicious and our waitress was sweet and helpful. Pop is an excellent chef and a wonderful waitress. I cannot recommend it enough. I will be back.“

“I own Rovali's Ristorante Italiano in Ogden and I would like to commend Stone Ground Bakery for going above and beyond the call to get me much needed rolls during a power outage. They found a solution for us, because they didn't have our regular rolls. P.F. Changs was on point once again. If you haven't been, they do an American-asian fusion and it's great. However, in large part the 5 star review is due to the fact that this particular PF Changs plays host to Amethyst. Simply the best server of the year! The grace she displayed - otherworldly. Her timing - sublime. She made the experience for our party. If you have the means, I highly recommend.“

Once you’ve been there a couple of times they remember you and pretty much know what your “usual” is. Dennis, the owner, has been there a few times when we were there and he always comes over to say “thank you for coming in.” He even covered our bill one time when he found out we are Veterans. “The food was excellent. We loved the charcuterie board, elk burger and curry bowl. The setting is nice. We were first seated at a table by the ovens which was very uncomfortable. Not only was it hot, but we were right in the middle of constant traffic. We moved to a table down the aisle which was much better. The service was not good. Our water glasses were empty most of the time until a hostess noticed and started filling our glasses. We were never asked if we wanted more drinks or how the food was. Our plates were never cleared and it took forever to get the check.“

“sawadee has some of the best Thai/curry in salt lake. I was disappointed when I visited last Saturday. I do not have the opportunity to get to this location often and it usually has to be on a Saturday. I just found out that they are no longer offering the lunch menu on Saturday. The lunch menu is my favorite because I could enjoy two smaller portions of different dishes instead of one larger dish. please bring back your lunch menu on the weekend!“

“This restaurant is nothing short of wonderful. The food's delicious the atmosphere is nice and the wait staff are exceedingly nice. I'm a transplant from San Francisco California and volunteered some time with a 401(c)(3) that did a lot of work helping to support Tibet. When I go to Kathmandu here it's a little brief reminder of the good things that come out of Tibet. Yum.“

Aside from the cat decorations in the cafe area you’d never guess they have animals in the building from the smell or the hair level. Lightning fast service and very yummy consumables if you’re just there for a drink and a snack. The staff I met were very patient and helpful. The cats are very well cared for and it shows in their friendliness and grooming. I adopted a Maine Coon with my husband this weekend and not only was the process smooth, but the cat himself was very healthy and had a well maintained coat(for the uninitiated Maine Coons are very susceptible to matting of the fur around their butt and tummy). Overall incredible experience and so so well run especially for a small business. I will be stopping by to pet the cats and get a latte every time i’m in Salt Lake. -Joel :]“
