“The staff at Hug-Hes tonight were truly a godsend. We were about an hour from home, looking for a place to eat, and decided to stop in. We had our 5-year-old with us and were pleasantly surprised by the variety on the kids’ menu.

While we were waiting for our food, our son suddenly got sick and threw up—nothing related to the restaurant at all. He was panicked, and we needed to head home quickly. As my wife helped clean him up, I worked with the staff to take care of the mess. They were incredibly kind, understanding, and helpful throughout the entire situation.

I was very apologetic and asked if we could cancel our order, and there was absolutely no hesitation. Their only concern was making sure we could get our child home and taken care of. The manager was especially amazing—I didn’t catch her name, but she went out of her way to support us and make sure everything was handled smoothly.

Because of the staff alone, we will definitely be returning. Also, the beer bread was excellent“

“Found this little gem from a simple Google search and I’m already addicted! My friend and I enjoyed breakfast there and we’re already planning a return trip. Who cares that it’s an hour away from home, it’s worth the drive! I had the granola pancake (🤤) and my friend had the strawberry french toast special (equally delicious). We also took home cinnamon and raspberry rolls (to die for). Give this place a try, you’ll be glad you did!“

“2.5 stars The beer selection is amazing. The food is wonderful…however!, it will take more time than you’d think for service and food. We’ve given this place 4 tries, and while sitting at the bar is amazing for drinks, the table service and food is super slow so just set those expectations appropriately. This is a consistent experience, every time, which is a bummer with the service and food because the food is great! But even if you’re sitting at the bar, food service is *extremely* slow (40 minutes for an order of wings). It’s so unfortunate because otherwise, this place is a gem.“

“My husband and I are always looking for somewhere to go midweek for a coffee date, he found this place on a Google search and we decided to give it a try.

We came in just after 9 o’clock on a Tuesday and walked right up to the counter ordered and had our coffee within a reasonable amount of time. The customer service was fantastic. They were so friendly and full of suggestions. The overall atmosphere is welcoming and inviting and we felt like we were not rushed.

I’m not a sweet coffee lover, but I was intrigued and tried the cookie butter latte. I was pleasantly surprised. It’s the perfect balance of sweet and salty and I could not recommend this more. My husband tried a Horchata latte which was equally delicious. We also got a slice of banana bread, which was one of our favorites as well as a butterscotch scone.

We will definitely be going back.“

“Awesome place to grab lunch! They have a lot of different burgers and sides. The staff is always nice, especially the lady who takes the orders. The fries here are probably some of my favorite fries in salt lake city. They're always nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and made with love haha but seriously. Definitely worth checking it out if you havent eaten here before!“

“I love this place, my favorite Boba place around with the most milk tea options. It's just the lobby has been looking a bit gross lately. The floors, the walls, the counter walls, and especially the bathroom are getting dirty looking with stains that it's making me feel gross looking around while waiting for my drink.“

“Came in for a lunch take out and the service we received was wonderful. Very sweet family that runs the business. My daughter and I very much enjoyed our lunches (ginger stir fry and Thai fried rice). It isn’t the best Thai restaurant out there (you’ll have to go to LA or just Thailand for that) but I thought it was very delicious, well seasoned and portioned and the prices were very affordable. Definitely coming back with my kids!“

“We are HEARTBROKEN to lose this gem of a restaurant! The food is so fresh and delicious! They make the best Sesame Chicken and best Hot and Sour soup that we have ever had. We also love the Kung Pao Chicken, the Lemon Chicken, the breaded shrimp and the egg rolls.
We learned tonight that their rent was doubled and food costs have skyrocketed, so they will close their doors probably in April.

“I come here all the time. Great quick place for a bite to eat and snag a drink. Last time i came here there card reader machine would not take my cell phone wallet charge because i wanted to catch breakfast and raced over without a wallet. I was holding up the line! They were so nice they were like were just going to give this to you. I was like thats so nice. But i cant accept that! Its my fault not the businesses. But they gave it to me....it was $9 i live 3 blocks away and have a zippy car. I got to my house in like 30 seconds bacuase i got the green light. I came back and paid the $9 bill and gave the girls $5 in tips. I always pays my bills but the girls being that nice is really cool ABOVE AND BEYOUND They may have had to pay for my food outta there tips?? I always order the ham added to the sandwich especially if im going to be busy doing yard work early and for a hours. A much better choice than mcdonalds and far more affordable!“
