Found this little gem from a simple Google search and I’m already addicted! My friend and I enjoyed breakfast there and we’re already planning a return trip. Who cares that it’s an hour away from home, it’s worth the drive! I had the granola pancake (🤤) and my friend had the strawberry french toast special (equally delicious). We also took home cinnamon and raspberry rolls (to die for). Give this place a try, you’ll be glad you did!

Got recommended to head up to Janet’s Sunshine Cafe in North Salt Lake for a solid breakfast at a reasonable price, and we were so stoked with everything. It’s completely worth popping out of downtown SLC for.

Janet's Sunshine Café serves excellent breakfast food in a vibrant atmosphere with brightly colored walls and old signs. The sausage gravy is a standout, and the biscuits and gravy have been praised as some of the best outside of the South. The menu features top-notch, homemade dishes made with quality ingredients, including the massive breakfast burrito. The diner-style café is popular, so be prepared for a short wait, as it can get loud with many customers. The attentive staff provides great customer service and the food comes out fast. Be sure to try the cinnamon and granola pancakes, which are huge and customizable, and considered the best by many. The veggie scramble is also amazing, loaded with fresh and delicious veggies. Overall, the café offers big portions at reasonable prices and has a fun vibe with good views.
