“Found this little gem from a simple Google search and I’m already addicted! My friend and I enjoyed breakfast there and we’re already planning a return trip. Who cares that it’s an hour away from home, it’s worth the drive! I had the granola pancake (🤤) and my friend had the strawberry french toast special (equally delicious). We also took home cinnamon and raspberry rolls (to die for). Give this place a try, you’ll be glad you did!“

“First time getting food from here. We were at the U clinic & googled breakfast near me. We were pleased with what we saw.
We ordered to go as we had a baby with us. My husband went in. Said the coffee smelled really good and pastries looked delicious. He got the breakfast burrito and I had the English muffin sandwich. Both were very good and satisfying.“

“Overall good experience, have visited several times and enjoyed myself. Celebrated a birthday this time on a Saturday. Busy as expected but had reservations. Waiter wasn't the friendliest we've had but we ultimately got the table I wanted so I was happy about that. Will definitely go back regardless. Love the ambiance and vibe.“

“I live in Colorado and never heard of Alpha Coffee. I visited Salt Lake City, and friend recommended we meet at the downtown location. I ordered an "Aztec" and it was great. Something different, new and tasty for me. I liked the drink, the vibe and the servers ... the whole experience was great! I look forward to my next visit to SLC. I'll stop at Alpha again - to try the Poly! :)“

“Took 5 kids and two adults on a slow Saturday lunch. The food was so good! We ordered family style and got the jambalaya, shrimp and grits, shrimp po boy, collard greens, and red beans and rice. I was worried at first about everyone getting enough to eat but everyone got their fill and it was delicious!!!“

“This place is a gem if you can find it. Small, no frills food counter with outstanding breakfast and coffee. Machaca eggs and chicken fried steak and eggs were off the charts.

Parking: It's located above a trucking parts and service counter so parking is limited.“

“Sugar Space is so great! It was 1.5 miles from the Koa where I was staying and I wasn’t sure if it was worth the walk, it’s got a great little coffee shop/ cafe, the food and drinks are nice, Edgar the barista is sooooo sweet and accommodating and the owners are really great. They have good speed internet to get some work done and even a play area for kids. The owners were so kind and welcoming! It was the best part of my visit to Salt Lake!“

“I absolutely love Cafe Shambala and highly recommend stopping by! Every time we host family or guests visiting, we bring them to eat here. Both the lunch buffet and the dinner menu are delicious. Our favorites are the spiced potatoes, the marinated chicken, the momos, and the traditional rice pudding dessert. My husband and I have never had less than a 5-star experience, especially with the excellent service. My only suggestion for improvement would be to more clearly post a drink menu during lunch, specifically for the refreshing mango lassi and other tasty drinks available. Last time I was there, the only posting of this information was a faded printer paper taped on the outside windows.“

“Im from Canada and everytime i travel, I try to get some BBQ. I've tried many places all around the Country and Salt City BBQ is by far the best BBQ in Utah. We had the lean and fatty brisket, OMG, the fatty had sooooo much flavor and the lean did not disappoint either. The turkey had an amazing smokey flavor and so tender. The BBQ sauce had a very nice sweet flavor but not over bearing on the sweet, just perfect. And the corn bread, OMG the best corn bread I've ever had, so fluffy and melt in your mouth. The owner was amazing and his staff as well. My buddy had the sausage and said it was the perfect blend of spices and cheese. The pork belly was so tender you don't even need teeth it'll just melt in your mouth. Give this place a try...IT WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!!!!“

My favorites are the mocha and caramel macchiato, but all drinks—hot or iced—are excellent. Great for a quick caffeine boost or a light bite like a pastry or sandwich.“
