“Been wanting to try this place for a while, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was seriously SO tasty - chai, snapper, chicken, greens, plantains, even down to the rice and beans - the flavors were incredible. Every bite we took we said "wow, THAT is good." It's truly a fusion restaurant, and they did it perfectly. We knew this place had great reviews, and if I could give 10/5 stars, I would. Would have really loved to try dessert, but we'll save that for next time because we will definitely be back.“

No matter how busy they are (and they are OFTEN busy), she takes the time to catch up on how we’re doing, and always asks what she can do to ensure our experience is top notch. Chris (owner) also always takes time to catch us up on how business is going, what improvements they have made based on customer feedback…and most of all, ALWAYS spoils our twins. These are 2 business owners who BLEED everything they have into ensuring the experience is a positive and amazing memory for everyone that comes in.We have had every server over the months, and not a single one disappoints. “Delicious food and great service! I loved the Rustic Italian panini. I like that they offer half size orders of many of their sandwiches. Their cakes and desserts looked amazing but we didn't order treats today. The big dining area is nice and there's also a small back room if it's extra busy. “This location is located on the side of a busy side street on the edge of a big building. Parking is available on the side of the street. The cafe is pretty small, but there are many little tables and booths to fit quite a bit of people. It has that classic diner vibe because the tables and the inside are pretty old.I ordered The Big Breakfast. Normally when I go to breakfast or brunch, I choose lunch items over breakfast items on the menu, however, just for Penny Ann's I chose the classic breakfast. Their HEAVENLY HOT CAKES are the only kind of pancakes I actually enjoy and love! Something about their recipe is actually so good! I opted for their hot cakes over my usual breakfast burrito. Their hot cakes are light, airy, and buttery!The service was quick and accurate even though it was busy! The waitresses seemed very experienced and just two waitresses kept the whole place running with no complaints the day I came in. If you're not a giant breakfast fan, I would suggest trying Penny Ann's Heavenly Hot Cakes because even I (not a breakfast foods fan) enjoyed them and would come back to get more if I am ever craving breakfast foods!“

“A amazing spot for working parents! My sons (1 & 3) spent four hours of nonstop playing which means I had four hours of non-interrupted work time. There are so many toys they didn't even squabble over who had what. Not to mention they have yummy food and drinks they will deliver straight to you. “It was my first time coming in this morning, and I was so pleasantly surprised. My friend ordered the Ginsberg, I believe it’s an original to the house. It has a blend of banana and coffee, a combo she didn’t know she needed! I ordered a blended chai with lavender, also fantastic! “Evo Hotel exceeded all my expectations! Customer service throughout the hotel, from front desk staff to cafe barista, skate park staff, retail store staff, yoga instructors, etc was phenomenal! (A shout out to Kennedy who patiently helped us through last min delays from our Amtrak train because of storms.) Everyone was genuinely friendly and eager to help/accommodate at every turn. We loved how clean and exceptionally well designed all the rooms were - with no carpet (which we loved!), lots of hooks and storage space, interesting artwork, and effective layouts. There are coolers you can borrow if you need to keep drinks cool, the cafe bar has great drinks and pastries, yogurts, and smoothies, and there is a filtered water dispenser on the first floor. As part of the stay, you have access to all the facilities and we enjoyed the evening yoga classes. There are lots of cute restaurants within a few blocks, and parking in the lot or out front was very easy. This is an industrial area, so there are some homeless people around, but we had no issues. With the fantastic customer service, clean & cook vibes, and all the fun amenities, this will definitely be our go to hotel in SLC!“

In addition to vegan options, they also have some gluten free treats for those that prefer or need that. I love seeing so many great options! Service was terrific-we were warmly greeted and given some guidance after the person behind the counter learned we were first timers. After a few recommendations, we ended up with a coffee, lemonade, croissant, crepe and chocolate chip cookie. Yes, it was a sweet visit.“
“This place has THE BEST Carmel macchiatos (hot and iced), their other drinks are also phenomenal. I do know they have food but I have yet to try them.. The staff ( at every location) is always so kind and hard working. I normally go to the one at the Science Crocker building after my 4:20 class (10 minutes before they close) and the girl who works there is always so kind to me and makes my coffee perfectly, even though its right before closing. I could not recommend this small business enough, and I am so glad it has multiple locations on campus. It is also way more affordable compared to Starbucks, Definitely would recommend and I would go to this place over any other.. :)“

“Hi! I came here for a quick lunch. I just got the soup and a side of fruit. The soup was vegan minestrone, it was phenomenal! The seasoning was on point and it hit the spot! They give you a side of tortilla chips with the soup, I just thought it was overall a great meal and they were really quick to get it out to me. I have no complaints!
