“It's hard when I go into a place after work to feel comfortable (I work outside, so I'm not always the cleanest looking). When I went in, I felt uncomfortable and that the 2 girls working were judging me. They turned the screen around to get a tip, but they hardly talked to me and didn't even welcome me in (on their phones), so I didn't leave a tip. I always enjoy the fruit bowl, but the service wasn't the greatest.“

“Found this little gem from a simple Google search and I’m already addicted! My friend and I enjoyed breakfast there and we’re already planning a return trip. Who cares that it’s an hour away from home, it’s worth the drive! I had the granola pancake (🤤) and my friend had the strawberry french toast special (equally delicious). “Holy hockey sticks this was the best burger I have ever had from a burger joint. The guy who took my order was one of the owners (you would never, so down to earth and personable). We chatted while I watched my food being freshly cooked. The burger tasted like your grandma made it with love, the fries were fresh and perfectly salted, and the ranch was homemade, tasted as it had been made fresh that day. I don't often leave reviews but this place is deserving of all the stars and customers! Good job!“

“The staff at Hug-Hes tonight were truly a godsend. We were about an hour from home, looking for a place to eat, and decided to stop in. We had our 5-year-old with us and were pleasantly surprised by the variety on the kids’ menu.

While we were waiting for our food, our son suddenly got sick and threw up—nothing related to the restaurant at all. He was panicked, and we needed to head home quickly. As my wife helped clean him up, I worked with the staff to take care of the mess. They were incredibly kind, understanding, and helpful throughout the entire situation.

I was very apologetic and asked if we could cancel our order, and there was absolutely no hesitation. Their only concern was making sure we could get our child home and taken care of. The manager was especially amazing—I didn’t catch her name, but she went out of her way to support us and make sure everything was handled smoothly.

Because of the staff alone, we will definitely be returning. Also, the beer bread was excellent“

“We loved the food! However, the service could be more child-friendly. The is no changing station in the men's bathroom, and when I asked for a sippy cup, they brought me back a plastic cup with no lid or straw. We made it work, but I do think people should be made aware so if you are thinking about going with little kids, you should be mentally prepared.“

“We are HEARTBROKEN to lose this gem of a restaurant! The food is so fresh and delicious! They make the best Sesame Chicken and best Hot and Sour soup that we have ever had. We also love the Kung Pao Chicken, the Lemon Chicken, the breaded shrimp and the egg rolls.
We learned tonight that their rent was doubled and food costs have skyrocketed, so they will close their doors probably in April.

“I ordered online. I ordered the Szechuan chicken and the beef with mixed vegetables. Both were very, very delicious. The food was ready to go on time and was hot off the stove.
My critiques:
I paid extra to upgrade from plain rice to ham fried rice and from plain white rice to vegetable lo-mein. The vegetable lo mein literally had NO vegetables. It should be called “plain lo mein”. The ham fried rice had barely any detectable ham in it. It should be called “somewhat ham fried rice”. I asked for packets of sweet and sour sauce and the lady told no because my order didn’t include it. The atmosphere is not very inviting, almost like they don’t want you to sit down and eat there. Lastly, the online order app automatically adds about a 20% tip on a pickup order! You can edit it if you know it’s there, but it would be easy to miss.“

“I come here all the time. Great quick place for a bite to eat and snag a drink. Last time i came here there card reader machine would not take my cell phone wallet charge because i wanted to catch breakfast and raced over without a wallet. I was holding up the line! They were so nice they were like were just going to give this to you. I was like thats so nice. But i cant accept that! Its my fault not the businesses. But they gave it to me....it was $9 i live 3 blocks away and have a zippy car. I got to my house in like 30 seconds bacuase i got the green light. I came back and paid the $9 bill and gave the girls $5 in tips. I always pays my bills but the girls being that nice is really cool ABOVE AND BEYOUND They may have had to pay for my food outta there tips?? That would be awful if that happened but thats them being real humans. And thats being Humankind. Its a real word folks haha.

I always order the ham added to the sandwich especially if im going to be busy doing yard work early and for a hours. A much better choice than mcdonalds and far more affordable!“
