“I have never been disappointed with a meal from Panda. There was a long line when we walked in, but it moved very quickly. Between 3 adults and 2 young children our price was $30. Not too bad! We had chow mein, white rice and ham fried rice as our sides. All delicious! The honey sesame chicken, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken and sweet and sour chicken were also delicious! The staff was friendly and fast!“

“We did a takeout order and the food was nice and hot when we got it home. We ordered hot and sour soup, fried dumplings, spring roll, egg roll, chicken and broccoli and general tso’s chicken. Everything was delicious and the young person at the cash register was super friendly. We will definitely be back!“

“The service was incredible! Our server made sure our take out bag had plenty of sauce and extra fortune cookies. The food was a great quick meal that was filling. It wasn’t as spicy as we were hoping for but it was a good lunch nonetheless.“

“I ordered the zha jiang mian and was not disappointed! The sauce had a rich, umami flavor and the noodles were wonderfully chewy and definitely tasted high quality. I also ordered the cucumber salad which was fine but I would not reorder it. The portions were good.
Service was great and very quick! I will be definitely be coming back to try more food here.“

“My wife had this on her "want to visit" list, so we stopped by today since it was on our way home from the zoo. Very glad we checked it out!
The food was fast, tasty, filling and very reasonable on the price. We had leftovers and I'm already looking forward to finishing it. My wife (who is in her third trimester) appreciated how the food wasn't too greasy so it didn't give her heartburn.
Our two year old daughter happily ate everything in front of her.
Well definitely return, or at least do take out! Wonderful spot.
Parking: Small lot, but very open spaces when we visited.
Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating of our 2 year old. Brought her a plastic cup (versus our ceramic ones) with the water, a high chair, etc.“

“The service is great! The guy at the front desk is very friendly and cute! The soup base is getting better and better, and it’s rare to be able to eat such joyful fried skewers in Utah. Recommended
Awesome service!! The soup base is getting more delicious every time we come!“

“Great food!!
I wasn't expecting the food to be this good, it does taste fresh and delicious.
Highly recommend! and the Service is excellent.
Try the fruit tea, magnificent!!!
The only reason why I didn't give a perfect score is because I wish they have some sort of a combination plate with a little bit of 2 or 3 dishes, instead of having you to order a single plate of one item which ended up being too big, too much for two people.“

“My gf and I were looking for a new Chinese restaurant last night and were fortunate to find this place. Our meal was amazing- she got the Pon Pon Chicken dinner and I had the Mongolian beef. It was hot , fresh and way above our expectations. The cream cheese wontons were fantastic- definitely not the frozen ones we’ve had elsewhere. We both highly recommend Mountain City!!“

“we tried Eiko Cafe SLC (1234 S Redwood Rd, Salt Lake City) and were so excited to try authentic Chinese food. they have your typical orange chicken and chow mein available, but we went for the boiled fish filet with pickled cabbage (left) and west lake beef soup (right). the fish dish was spicy, tender, savory and also had a slight numbing effect of the Sichuan peppercorn (yum!). the beef soup was the best thing to have on this snowy and wet day. our waitress introduced herself as Jasmine and was so excited to see us try what her family eats at home. she was very accommodating and so friendly! we will be back tomorrow and hope we can easily decide what things to get next… we want to try the entire menu.“

“I am trying this place for the first time. Because the place i was going for my "Chinese" food closed due to covid.
This place looks very similar to the one that i LOVED!
First off... these amazing owners were very optimistic, and very grateful to have me place my order. They were SO RESPECTFUL as well!
The female owner made so many gestures of gratitude towards me, and made me feel very welcome.
Second... the presentation of food was amazing as well! When I ordered the egg drop soup. She asked me if I just wanted one for myself. I told her I needed enough for 6 people. When I got there to pick it up, they had prepared 6 individual to-go containers of egg drop soup! How amazing is that?
The food actually tastes better than my favorite "Chinese" restaurant.
I recommend this place very much! Especially if you like your "Chinese" food to be more authentic than the traditional American "Chinese" Restaurants!
I cannot say enough about this establishment! They are amazing and show you their gratitude!“

“Ditch Panda Express if you are in the area and looking for Chinese food. More selection. The food tastes way better. Sever yourself and make the dish the way you want. Its a way better deal, and the gentleman there was very friendly. And happy to explain.“

“Way better than SLC food court. Great food! And at low prices. Traditional Chinese restaurant menu, but very well prepared. I don't know if they have a new cook, but if you've forgotten Mings, come on back! Should be packed with SLCC staff for lunch given the quality & price.“

“We had egg rolls, General Tso's chicken, Szchuan veggies and Jasmine tea. As spicy as you specify. All great with terrific service. Good size helpings.
Parking: Free standing building on it's own lot. Plenty of parking“

“For a hole in the wall restaurant, with Styrofoam dishes and plastic utensils, the food is not that bad.It makes more sense to take the food home than to eat it there, which is what 95% of everybody who came after us did. And they were quite busy fulfilling many take out orders.“

“Paik’s Noodle is a must-visit for foodies seeking an authentic Asian dining experience. Their Chilli Jjamppong is a spicy seafood noodle soup that’ll tantalize your taste buds. The broth is a perfect blend of heat and depth, with generous portions of seafood and veggies. The noodles are chewy and cooked to perfection, making every bite a delight. The restaurant’s cozy atmosphere and friendly service add to the overall positive experience. If you’re craving a hearty and spicy noodle dish, Paik’s Noodle is definitely worth a visit!
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, went in with my kids and the service was exceptional.“

“The menu is broad... food style from many Asian countries, not just China. The food was just ok. We had hot and sour soup, Sichuan plate, and a Buddha plate (tofu). Nothing special. The flavors were sort of bland. Service was good even though they seemed understaffed. Prices are good.“

“Everything is good. Family favorites are Yang Chow Fried Rice that comes with Shrimp, chicken, and delicious red pork for $10.00 and the Orange chicken here is made with leg meat super fire. An order of the Egg Foo wouldn’t be bad from here. For the money it’s probably in the top 3 in town. Order is right every single time.“

“Meat cut are great. Yummy drinks. But service is non existent. From getting utensils to getting the ingredients, to cooking, all self serving. Which means lots of work, very few time to sit and relaxing. Perfect for those who want more step counts.
Oh by the way, the broth is so salty!!“

“Love the food, the service and atmosphere. I have been looking for this kind of Sichuan cuisine / restaurant in Salt lake area for a long while! The place is nice and clean, restrooms are nice too! English / Mandarin / Cantonese environments. I am a picky eater when comes to Chinese food, and I approved this cute little restaurant.“

“The staff here are awesome! And their food is incredible too! We've been going here for 20+ years approx. Our family has loved their Mai fun (spelling?) Pork or beef is incredible! We also get red chile oil sauce (not sure if that's the real name of it?) And LOVE this on the Mai fun. My kids LOVE their Kung pow chicken, moo goo Gia pan, my father loves Happy Family. I am positive you won't be disappointed no matter what you order there. It's all made fresh on the spot. I'm Grateful for this restaurant and the staff...“

“It's good, cheap Chinese food. There's nothing fancy about it, but the vegetables were cooked perfectly and the food was hot. I got the Mongolian beef and sweet and sour chicken combo with ham fried rice. The Mongolian chicken was perfectly spicy and the sweet and sour chicken was delicious. The rice wasn't bad, but it didn't seem like there was a ton of effort put into it.It's not somewhere I would travel real far for, but I'm glad I found a local Chinese place I like.“

“Authentic Chinese skewers! Great place for parties and friends' reunion. They have a karaoke room which we occupied for my birthday party. We had awesome drinks (alcohol or non-alcohol), had a great feast, and really had fun singing karaoke. The service is super attentive, meeting all of our customized needs, big shootouts to Amanda, our waitress!“

While waiting for my take out order my grannies were by this big and beautiful fishtank and of course, asking for change .25 for these other toy machines. “Love this place! I travel a lot and had to move away, but I always take my family back here every time I'm in town. Food is delicious, my husband loves it and my kids overeat. Our favorite savory dishes are Sesame Chicken, General Tso's Chicken, Spicy Pepper Beef. Side dishes such as vegetable fried rice, egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, and cream cheese wontons are very basic but they are made well. I really took it for granted when I was living there. Now the next best place is in New York.“

“Asian Potato became a family-favorite after we discovered this hidden gem a few years ago. It's a lowkey and chill atmosphere, and the service is always good. The best thing on the menu, bar none, is the orange flavor chicken. It's unlike any orange chicken you've had, and I urge you to treat your taste buds to this citrus-flavored dish. The Pineapple Massaman Curry Lo Mein is also fantastic (and a mouthful to say)! The ham fried rice is an excellent side dish. I wasn't a fan of the Bejing beef as a standalone (too spicy over time), but it would be good as a shared entree with three or four people.I absolutely love Asian Potato and will continue coming back!“

“I called in 2 orders of sweet & sour chicken combos . I was nervous because they closed in 40minutes I was thinking the food was going to be dry and sitting their all evening but it was the only option for Chinese food I called they said it would be 15 minutes they had it ready in less time only 11 minutes and for the for under $20 excellent food portions it was hot and fresh . I would totally recommend them .“

“Happened to walk by when I was at a teacher training and decided to stop at this little gem. I ordered a pork cabbage bun, a Halloween sesame special bun, and a matcha latte. So cute and friendly and quaint. I hope this place stays around. The sesame bun was soft and sweet and the pork cabbage bun was soft and just as I expected.

“Hands down this is my go to place when I am craving Chinese food. The food is always amazing but let me tell you that when you have it delivered it comes hot, so hot it burns my mouth and I don’t live that close to them and I also have it delivered to my work that is even a bit farther away! I always order garlic chicken , kung pow chicken and you can’t forget the hot and sour soup!! All of it is so saucy and flavorful ( I pour the sauce on my rice) This portion are large enough to share with 3 people. It’s usually the same delivery man (I have had a couple different ones twice) and he is always kind and maybe one day I’ll grab his name.“

“This review is posted on 1-16-25.I sat down to eat. I ordered orange chicken and some sides like egg rolls. Food was fresh because the manager was calling out to the kitchen for a reload of whatever was short before it was empty. Matt was the best manager I have seen at any restaurant. Not just panda. However with all the locations I have been to, this is the only one I'll go to. Heres why: Matt was greeting every customer that entered the store. He was thanking his team and leading them through the dinner rush. I would give him an A and the store an A-. Best panda location for sure. I also did not have to wait long when i asked for my order to be made fresh he made sure it was prepared asap. 10/10.“

“We used to get canton all the time before they move to this location. Now they don't deliver to our area anymore so we haven't gotten it in a long time. But love this place always get takeout and have always got plenty of soy sauce, and food. Maybe the cook was having a bad day when the other person got the nasty food. Never had a problem in the 20 or so years we have been getting food from Canton.“

“They were very busy whe I came in for dinner. The staff was very friendly and were joking with each other and laughing. It gave it a good atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious. I have been to alot of panda express throughout the valley. This one and the one in Draper are the best. The ones in the nicer areas seem to have better food. Just from my experience.“

“Love their food and their service is fantastic. Ordered food Christmas Eve and they did a great job even though they were swamped with orders. When we got our order home we found they gave us extra food for the delay on our order. They sacrificed their night with family to serve our family. Thank you for your excellent food and superb service. If you haven’t tried them, do it. We will always patronize them.“
