“For a hole in the wall restaurant, with Styrofoam dishes and plastic utensils, the food is not that bad.It makes more sense to take the food home than to eat it there, which is what 95% of everybody who came after us did. And they were quite busy fulfilling many take out orders.“
“This Panda Express location is pretty good. Everytime I go in and order food they seem to have everything fresh, the food is stocked up (so no wait time) and the customer service is amazing! I love how the coworkers are always so helpful and seem to be happy and actually smile at the customers. Great customer service! Now I have noticed the food portions that they give are rather small compared to other Panda Express locations. BUT I am a person who prefers quality over quantity. So I'm willing to overlook it. The lobby is clean inside Everytime I go in but man.. is it freaking cold. Even in the Summer time. Especially in the winter! I've noticed its always empty inside and nobody is eating inside which makes me think that might be one of the reasons. Because it's so cold to the point where it makes it unbearable to be in there. That's the only thing I will say. Everything else is good ? so would I recommend this place? 100% yes! Go.. give it a try don't expect big portions but you'll definitely get a yummy flavorful meal. And if your dining inside make sure to bring a puffy jacket or sweater lol.“
“It's a good tasting Chinese food. Wanton was amazing. The egg drop soup was good but did have a very small oil/greasy on the surface. The Orange chicken was crispy and with a bit of a kick of spicy sauce, which made it really good. Love the fried rice that came with the combination it had a good size chucks of ham.“
“This place is sooooooo good. The service is always friendly, they are always coming around to see if you want more broth or meat, and every single thing in their food bar is delicious. It's almost annoying how good the fries are, because you don't go to hot pot for french fries, but even those are solid. I love coming here after a long run or a day of skiing. I have talked up this restaurant to every single person I can and honestly, sometimes I feel like I'm stealing from this restaurant based on the price of it. I can't get over how good of a deal it is!!“
“Sean was the best server I've had in a long time. Genuinely the nicest and most professional server I've had in years. Food was great, atmosphere is what you expect at PF Chang's with an overall chain feel but all in all, a great experience. Will absolutely be back for more.“
“awesome place. i went here to try the dim sum, super good. i stepped outside my comfort zone and had the golden sand buns, chicken feet, beef tripe, and spare ribs—all of which were amazing. my family ordered the chow mein (was spaghetti, i believe), as well as beef & a few meats if i recall correctly. their hot & sour and veggie soups were great too, not to mention their wonderful and large wontons. biggest i’ve seen so far. the shanghai dumplings and bbq pork buns were also great. this place has a wonderful dim sum selection, even when the cart isn’t going around. the atmosphere was a tad lacking though—i wish there was perhaps more music playing. anyway, good chinese food place with (what i believe to be) pretty decent authentic options. i’d come again.“
“My husband, 10 month old, and I came here for a Valentines lunch date. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic! We got 2 sushi rolls, pot stickers, and a sesame chicken plate. The food was brought out fast and tasted delicious. I highly recommend coming here!Kid-friendliness: I had my 10-month old and the staff was so cute with her and got us a high chair. They also didn’t mind the small rice mess she made.“
“First impression: dog bowls. LOL. My husband and I came in for lunch without any idea what to expect. This place has a different twist in their noodles: you order a dish, then get served a tray of "ingredients" (or toppings?!) + a noodles bowl (no broth) + a big boiling broth bowl. The broth bowl, which is where you dump everything in to eat out of, was what we thought looked like a dog bowl lol. The portion of noodles are quite big. And the soup was very flavorful. Typical nonchalant Asian style service. Big dining area. Overall a good meal!“
“I was doing a take out order. Ashley helped me, she was awesome! It was kind of a last minute order for a work lunch. And they made it happen in the emergency time frame I needed. The food tasted superb. Um, And joy's great cause there's always a handful of people that haven't gone here for a while. And they're like "oh man I forgot how good pay wei is"Parking: Lots of parkingKid-friendliness: It's a fun noisy environmentWheelchair accessibility: Yes wheelchair accessible“
“Place was well put together. Food tastes amazing, dishes are well thought out, place appears externally clean. Old building evident. Also fix the broken window, it makes the building look run down. Fish aquarium and decor was pretty and well planned. Service wasn't necessarily fast or consistent, kinda average friendliness. Food was just a 10 tho great job.“
“What started as a high school tradition turned into a sushi place I’ll always be able to count on. The atmosphere is homey, they are so fast with your food, it’s always good quality and yummy and overall they just make it easy. My family and I came here for Christmas dinner and my parents so pleased and impressed. The portions of the noodles are so big and the prices are amazing. The family that runs is it so hardworking and I cannot rave about this place enough.“
“Been going to Szechwan Express for at least 20 years. We love their food and the people who run it. We don't go as often as we used yo because we live further away, but when we want Chinese food, we will go out of our way to go to Szechwan Express. They're fantastic!“
“Amazing food and especially impressive service. We came in and one of the workers was eating his lunch. He immediately put away his lunch to help us with our food order. The other worker constantly checked on us to refill our drinks and make sure the food was good. We felt like we were their focus and they served with excellence. We highly recommend this restaurant and will be coming again.“
“Wednesday around 1pm was actually very slow the day we came in! Seated as soon as we walked in, service was very attentive. My son and I ordered two lunch plates : one with orange chicken and one with pork lo mien. Came with soup - we got egg drop--Choice of spring roll or wonton, and ham fried rice. The entrees were flavorful, we really liked the orange chicken. Def fresh! Good size chicken too. The rice was a little lacking... could use some more seasoning, soy sauce. We liked the chicken entree more than the pork lo mien. Will prob go back to try other dishes. They also give a military discount which is a plus since this is just down from Camp Williams.“
“Ordered online and it was the most delicious Chinese cuisine me and my husband have had it’s going to be our regular now. Everything is seasoned and perfect flavors melt in your mouth thank you so much for making such amazing quality foodThe chicken fried rice, beef Lo Mein, and Pon Pon chicken were the best and HIGHLY RECOMMEND ?“
“I hadn’t been to this restaurant for many years. Tonight we tried two dinner combinations. The chicken with snow peas, beef chow mien, ham fried rice, fried shrimp, cream cheese wontons, hot and sour soup and egg drop soup were all great and much better than I remember them being in the past. In fact the only item that I didn’t think was excellent was the egg roll. It had a bit of an odd flavor. Service was friendly and the prices were fair.“
“I love the food. It's reasonably priced. i have never been disappointed with anything i have ordered. They also offer delivery.Parking: They have their own parking lot that has plenty of stalls.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids' menu and the staff is very friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: The enry is on the ground floor and easily accessible for a wheelchair.“
“Sometimes the meat turns out a lil dry but great still recommend avoiding coming in when its packed so the cooks can pay better attention to your foodVegetarian options: You make your own plateDietary restrictions: You build it they cook it“
“I was so impressed! My friend took me here and I was amazed! The food was super yummy and really affordable! I was able to get miso soup, fried veggies, salad, steamed veggies, California roll, jasmine tea, and cheesecake for 17 dollars! 10/10 will recommend and I will be back for more!“
“I remember when China Chefs first opened. I told my friend we should go and check them out. I think this was back in 08? 09? Somewhere around there. I have been HOOKED ever since. Their food is the absolute BEST in Utah. We drive all the way from Lehi to get food from here. Love love love them!!“
“We were in on Sunday afternoon, and we had a great experience. We had Orange Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken with noodles. The noodles were way better than most competitors, and both meals were great! My partner likes her Kung Pao a little spicier, and our awesome server informed us that they'd be happy to give it a custom kick anytime. Just ask. That's our kind of service. The portions were generous, and the price was very reasonable. We'll definitely be back.“
“The food was fresh. There was plenty of variety and foods to try. The buffet line was kept filled. There was a 15-20 minute wait when I went to King Buffet, a line of people, and it was crowded. The waitress stopped by the table, I was sitting at, 3-4 times to refill my drink. The price was a little high. It was the $18 Sunday dinner price, but it was a good buffet. It's one of the best I've been to.I'd rate the King Buffet at 5 stars, and would go there again.“
“HIDDEN GEM! It doesn't look like much, but the personalized service and OMG the FOOD are prime top contenders in SLC. Best general Taos in the city. I liked it so much that I went for the seafood platter (a dangerous game at home-in-the-wall Asian cuisine). It was FRESH and prepared with the utmost care. What's CRAZY is that you could order during dinner rush or pop in at 3am and get the same quality. It's significantly better than competitors that charge 3 times as much.“
“We go here about once a month. The food is good but avoid the soy sauce. It's very salty. The prices are fair and there's enough to feed a family of four for two days. We usually order Chicken Chow Mein, Chicken lo Mein, Chicken Fried Rice, and Egg rolls.Sometimes we like to get the Walnut shrimp or the Orange Chicken. For all this food, it costs around $42 for four adults. (About 10 dollars each yielding 2 meals for each of us. The Walnut Chicken is really good but a little higher in price. The atmosphere is typical for the venue, not exciting but certainly adequate.Kid-friendliness: Very casual“
“First time trying Rice King Express tonight & we were excited as our family loves Chinese food! We had a small incident & called the restaurant & they made sure to take care of us. They replaced all of our food which says a lot about their service! The food tasted fresh & was hot & had great flavor! We will be coming back!“
“The staff was very welcoming upon entering. We ordered “Togo” but the inside seating looked plentiful and clean. Food quality is excellent and you get your money’s worth. Food was hot and tasty (flavorful). They are able to accommodate for both the meat eaters and vegetarians. Would recommend trying. Price point is a little high but again meals can be shared.“
“My spouse and I pulled up last night and there was a sign saying that it was permanently closed. We are heartbroken. So many important life moments happened for our family while we were either celebrating a promotion with wontons and sesame chicken or being comforted after a loss by the healing and hot egg drop soup. We will forever be grateful for the staff for being as kind and welcoming as the food was delicious. We truly love you. Thank you.“
“I’ve come here every now and then and I always love the food and atmosphere! They’re so welcoming and friendly! It’s a family own restaurant which they always make sure everyone is comfortable and well fed! I always ordered the Vietnamese rolls, pho and so many delicious dishes which gives a good amount of food with a good price! I highly recommend this restaurant! Please come check this amazing restaurant!???“
“They’ve been here for YEEEAAARRRSSS! And I only know about them from my mom, she use to bring us here since they first opened. But now my mom is no longer here with us but we(my husband and I)come here at least once a week and they have never disappointed! My husband is from San Francisco and he said since being in Utah this is by far the best Chinese “fast food” spot he’s been to. Big portions and the workers are super nice and friendly especially the lady that’s usually always there. My favorite is the rice noodles and their orange chicken is?“
“Prepare to embark on a culinary journey beyond compare! We can't wait to experience every dish at this establishment. The succulent General Tao's Chicken and the zesty Orange Chicken danced on our taste buds, leaving us craving more. Paired with fragrant fried rice, adorned with delicate peas, carrots, and eggs, each bite was a symphony of flavors. The comforting warmth of the Egg Drop Soup enveloped us, boasting a velvety texture, tantalizing tofu, and a burst of savory goodness. And oh, the Sesame Balls! Crispy perfection on the outside, with a lusciously sweet red bean paste within, they were truly divine. Trust us, you'll be planning your return visit before you've even left the table.“
“This is basically a takeout place, but there are a few places to sit. Not for large groups to dine in, somewhat spartan. As far as takeout goes however, it's a charming family run buisness. They only have tofu on two dishes, when I asked they were unable to add to any other dish but they did have no meat or vegetable options. Lots of other options, and made fresh and hot. I'm a bit of a wuss, and the dish I tried marked spicey on the menu was too hot for me.Vegetarian options: They are not clearly labeled, but they do have dishes that can be made vegetarian.Parking: Easy to parkKid-friendliness: My kids were fine here, but there is not anything special geared to kids. Bring their entertainment.“
“It is really affordable here for how tasty it is!! I reccomend the lunch special. Everything I tasted was good, the egg drop soup, the egg roll, the sesame chicken, generat tsaos, and the cream cheese wonton. I definitely want to come back!“
“It's good, cheap Chinese food. There's nothing fancy about it, but the vegetables were cooked perfectly and the food was hot. I got the Mongolian beef and sweet and sour chicken combo with ham fried rice. The Mongolian chicken was perfectly spicy and the sweet and sour chicken was delicious. The rice wasn't bad, but it didn't seem like there was a ton of effort put into it.It's not somewhere I would travel real far for, but I'm glad I found a local Chinese place I like.“
“Great food. Very clean. Had a nice spread. There was something for everyone in our group of 20. Friendly staff.Vegetarian options: There is tofu for the Mongolian grill. Great salad bar.Kid-friendliness: French fries and chicken nuggets. Jello. Rolls. Ice cream.“
“A Staple Cafe That Never DisappointsThe Golden Tree Cafe has been a staple dining spot in Riverton for as long as I can remember. It's one of those places that has been around for so long it gets taken for granted - but it should not be overlooked! While it's not a fancy restaurant, Golden Tree Cafe offers delicious Chinese food at affordable prices. When dining for two people, you'll likely end up with leftovers to take home because the portions are very generous. I recently enjoyed an excellent meal there and was reminded why this cafe has stood the test of time. The egg foo young was perfectly cooked - flavorful and moist on the inside with a nice crisp exterior. The sweet and sour chicken had just the right balance of flavors and a light breading that didn't overwhelm the chicken. And you can't go wrong with the classic egg drop soup, nice and hot with stringy eggs and rich broth. After being away for too long, this meal definitely brought me back. Golden Tree Cafe serves classic Chinese dishes cooked consistently well time after time. For delicious no-frills dining, you can't beat this Riverton staple. Next time, I won't wait so long before going back for more!“
“The food is absolutely delicious! Everything is fresh. Pho is hard to beat! It’s my favorite thing about this place. Such an incredible place especially on a cold day!!!Vegetarian options: Veg & tofu pho, tofu spring rolls, panfried tofu combo w/veggies, vegetarian lomein or flat noodles, tofu curry, tofu & veg fried rice.“
“Been eating here for 4 years now! Best Asian food in town! The 6yr old little entertainment committee adds great charm and welcome feeling to the place! We love her so funny and cute!Parking: Up front parking!Kid-friendliness: She's funny! She's 6! Adorable!Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of room to roll around in!“
“Staff were incredibly kind from the moment we stepped in. We were seated quickly and our waiter was very helpful and shared a few recommendations. There wasn’t a thing that our family ordered that we didn’t love. I’d recommend the Wontons, Egg Rolls, Egg Flour Soup and Tangerine Chicken.“
“The food is worth the wait, absolutely delicious and care was put into every dish we got. They don't skimp on portion sizes, and everything is fresh. The people who run it are super sweet, but understaffed a bit, so the wait can be long.If you're looking for a delicious dinner, and you're not in too big a rush, this is a fantastic place to eat.“
“Cute little place with unbeatable prices. It’s very much a takeout restaurant. I’m not usually a big fan of Chinese takeout but these guys do a pretty great job. I got an authentic-tasting plate of chicken chow mein with sides of egg drop soup, an egg roll, and fried rice at dinner time all for $11.“
“Best Chinese restaurant!Absolutely love their spring rolls and sweet and sour sauce, best one I have ever had!The food is very flavorful and portions are very generous, as well as affordable.I have loved every dish I have ever ordered but my favorite is the almond chicken. My children also love it here, we always look forward to eating at this restaurant as a family!“
“Great atmosphere as far as music & interior design. Food was fantastic. The Orange chicken was beautifully crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and simply delicious. Authentic and delicious. Highly recommend!Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible“
“If I could give this place six stars I would! The walnut shrimp is killer! We tried multiple other dishes and everything was fantastic! Everything tasted fresh and I left eating away more than I should. This is by far the best local Chinese around in my opinion. I will be headed back for sure.“
“The food is fresh and nicely presented, amazing that it is prepared so quickly! We knew Jimmy from Teriyaki Boy and followed him here. He is so friendly and helpful. Our favorites are the Salmon and Broccoli Hibachi and the Steak and Chicken Hibachi.“
