“The food is great at Janbo but I’d really like to talk about the SERVICE! I came in with my family a few nights ago. We were a large party and had 2 kids under 2 with us. They were SO ACCOMIDATING! The restaurant was very clean, which was great for our little explorers. Our server brought us suckers and yogurt for the kids, and was so patient and understanding of our chaos. We WILL be back!!“

The only issue I had was that the tables and floor had not been cleaned in a while (crumbs on tables and chairs with food on the ground, in several locations). The good thing was that this location has lots of seatting.“

“The food was very good, we got sweet and sour chicken combo, crispy beef combo, cheese wonton, pork fried rice and pot stickers. The best items we got were for sure the crispy beef and wonton. Their rice was also unique with lots of good flavor and I would recommend it! My only issues was the sweet and sour. While it was good, it felt older a little. We also got the combination plates for the beef and chicken and we did get the fried rice with it but we did not get the spring roll or the shrimp that should have came with it unfortunately but definitely would try it again.“

“Mr’s D’s has the freshest veggies and the best broth out of all the personal hot pot restaurants in the city.

I was blown away by how delicious and refreshing the soup base is, they're light, not heavy or oily, and is made in-house. The veggies and meats are fresh and taste amazing. My sausages were cut into shapes of tiny octopus which was adorable. The sauce station, snacks, and the free rice are an added bonus as well.

I've stopped by once every other week, even when as the weather gets warmer. This is such a great spot and a hidden gem!“

However, the delivery of orders was a bit chaotic with several plates coming to us that we didn't order while our orders were AWOL. We had a group of seven, with the last dish coming out when those getting their food first were almost done.“

“My gf and I were looking for a new Chinese restaurant last night and were fortunate to find this place. Our meal was amazing- she got the Pon Pon Chicken dinner and I had the Mongolian beef. It was hot , fresh and way above our expectations. The cream cheese wontons were fantastic- definitely not the frozen ones we’ve had elsewhere. We both highly recommend Mountain City!!“

“The food was GREAT! My partner and kiddos are picky eaters, but everyone loved every dish we ordered. They said it was the best beef broccoli they'd ever had- I can't get over how tender yet crisp the veggies were! Great portions too! The noodles had a perfect chew to them (dunno how else to explain that), the soup dumplings were so full of flavor, along with the wontons. Service was great- we went on a Saturday during dinner rush and were seated immediately, no wait. Our server was kind attentive and friendly. Very accommodating and helpful with recommendations too! I think this location is not super busy and we went at a very slow time. So there was not a lot of food pre-prepared. They offered to make anything we wanted - quickly. Like they always say; an Asian restaurant that looks a little run-down on the outside is usually run by authentic owners who specialize in their own home-style dishes.
The customer service while I waited for my over-the-phone order was phenomenal. The nice lady chatted with me while I waited, and there was only one other person inside before me.
Inside, it looks like your typical Asian fast takeout spot. But once you smell and taste the food, prepare to be blown away.

“The food is amazing, highly recommend the Chinese Bentonville box. More food than the typical person can eat, a good mix of what they have, and the main dish hasn't let me down yet. Be careful on the ones marked spicy, if you can't handle spicy foods you'd best stay away.“

“A friend of mine from Hong Kong recommended this place to me and said it’s the most legit Chinese food in the valley and he wasn’t lying! I ordered the fried rice and added the roast pork and it was incredible! The pork was top quality and was delightfully crispy on top! Best fried rice I’ve had in Utah! My husband ordered the basic fried noodle and it was like boring hot pasta salad (spaghetti noodles) and didn’t taste fried. I would pass on that dish, but the fried rice was great!“

“Love this place! I travel a lot and had to move away, but I always take my family back here every time I'm in town. Food is delicious, my husband loves it and my kids overeat. Our favorite savory dishes are Sesame Chicken, General Tso's Chicken, Spicy Pepper Beef. Side dishes such as vegetable fried rice, egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, and cream cheese wontons are very basic but they are made well. I really took it for granted when I was living there. Now the next best place is in New York.“

“The best Chinese spot I’ve been to! We each got a lunch special, and it came with the soup of the day, an egg roll, and your entree of choice with rice on the side. We got sesame chicken and general jor’s chicken, as well as cream cheese wontons. Amazing value for the serving portions, and everything tasted really fresh! It felt light but filling at the same time! I loved the soup too. I wouldn’t skip this place if I were you!“

“I decided to come here because my friend’s family runs this restaurant. I would love to give this place a five out of five but I want to be honest and so I will give it 4 stars.

1. I think the food is wonderful here, but it is a bit oily from a lot of deep frying. One thing I noticed is that there is a LOT of food options in the menu and I feel like having that many options for not very many customers would tank the revenue, but I am not all that familiar in cooking.

2. The atmosphere there was nice but not the best, and I understand that it can be hard to manage things with just your family. I feel like some lights could do some fixing, and some parts could done cleaning but overall, it felt nice.

3. I know from my friend that only his family runs this restaurant. That is only four people in total. That isn’t very many people for a restaurant and I feel like if they got better at handling customers then it would be a lot more enjoyable experience for others.

In the end, I think that this place has a lot of potential to become great, but for now it is just good. If you want a good fast experience I recommend coming here around mid afternoon.“

“The prices here are so wildly cheap for such good quality. Yi is in our regular rotation and is a comfort place for my partner and I. The sushi is excellent, and they will substitute soy paper for the seaweed if that's something you prefer. We've had most of the rolls at this point, and they're all good. I especially like their wonton soup. The service is always excellent and the restaurant is comfortable!“

“Small little place with no people, the man who took our orders was nice and friendly, we got our food quite quickly (Probably under 10 minutes). “Went around 10:30/11 after a concert at the amphitheater. It was steady with people inside plus lots of door dash pick ups. The sole hostess/server was great keeping up, communicating etc. The food was delicious. We had a few sushi rolls and steamed dumplings. The pork/cabbage dumplings had an odd taste I’m there to me but I’ve also never had them before so I don’t have anything to compare. I didn’t dislike them though either. We will definitely eat there again sometime! Small but cute space!“
