“Top-notch Steak or Combo Fried Rice. They don't cheap out on its fun, unique ingredients. My of my favorite rolls are both oddly cool takes on sushi: The Tony's roll and the Salmon Skin Maki roll. Minus one star for the idiotic "all you can eat" rules and waiter attitudes.“

“I love this place. I work in West valley and live in layton. There are a lot of sushi places that are on tye way home I will drive a half hr out of the way to come here and they have the best ginger and are gluten free friendly with GF soy sauce“

“This shop is in ocean mart, and ran by a very sweet Japanese lady who I presume owns the stall. The food is made to order by her, and tastes like your Japanese mother cooked it. Food made with love
Onigiri: 4.2/5: For $8.50, you get 2 onigiri of choice. I opted with tuna mayo and umeboshi (plum). The onigiri are made fresh to order and are well packed with filling. The tuna is well seasoned, so it goes well with the rice. For those who haven’t tried umeboshi, it’s very sour, but I love it. The lady puts one on top and two in the middle, so there’s plenty of ume to go around. The only knock is that it falls apart after a couple of bites. I think they use regular jasmine rice for it.
Shogayaki 5/5: This one of the most comforting dishes I’ve ever had. Marinated, thinly sliced pork belly on a bed of rice. The pork has a similar flavor profile to gyudon, but has a warm ginger taste. She also adds a good amount of green onion on top that cuts the fattiness of the pork. The sauce also penetrates the rice under the pork, so the rice gets really flavorful as well. The portion is also enormous. As a certified big back (got my membership card and everything), it will make you full.

“Decent food. I got the beef, chicken, and shrimp teriyaki. It was a bit too soy sauce-y and not enough teriyaki-y. Price was fine and I maaay try this place again later. You get plenty of food for what you pay and they gave us a little keychain, so that was fun.“

“Amazing sushi and the staff is very friendly. The venue can feel a bit cramped sometimes, however. Also, the venue can feel commercial (for those who like the 'traditional' ambiance) but the food will take you into a wonderful experience. We ordered the Monkey, Big Sell, Honey Banana, and a few more (yeah, the names make it a playful experience as well).“

Teppanyaki is all about the experience and of course the show and I was pleasantly surprised when we got Tim. He had both tables laughing throughout the whole show and the food was cooked perfectly. The Filet was perfect template and the veggies had a nice crunch. Defiantly worth the cost with a chef giving a FULL SHOW. ???
Will come back again and again! We tipped him 30% with the service and will call in advance next time to make sure we get him.“

“WE LOVE HABACHI HOUSE!!! I have been coming here since I was a little girl, my family has loved it. I now live locally and we come here at LEAST once every 2 weeks. Their prices are amazing for how much food you get. So much better than a $10 meal at any fast food restaurant and they are a local business!! Please support them whenever you get the chance. My go to is any of the Habachi meals with noodles (their noodles are SO good). We usually take it to go! And you must try their ginger sauce. It makes everything taste even that much better!“

“Sushi quality is very good, but the service is slow. We were there for an hour and the waitress only came to our table 2 times after our initial seating, and there were only 3 other tables occupied. Don't offer all you can eat sushi if you aren't willing to take orders when the customer is ready.“

“The food is so delicious &
we drive 2 hours from up north to eat here. I haven't found a better place for teriyaki chicken plates beside back home. This place really really reminds us of home in California
Vegetarian options: I know they make a vegetable rice plate or u can get noodles also
Parking: There's an open parking lot in the back of the Layton Mall with an enterence into the food court
Kid-friendliness: My kids love eating here, they love the taste of the chicken & steak with rice or fried rice or noodles & they can get it with or without the veggies
Wheelchair accessibility: It's located in the food court of the Layton Mall“
