Kneaders Bakery & Cafe in Layton has a comfortable, casual feel that worked really well for breakfast with my daughter. We took our time, which was probably the best part. The bakery smell hits you as soon as you walk in, and there’s something about seeing all the breads and pastries behind the counter that makes it harder to stick to just what you originally planned to order. I've tried kneaders before like 10-15 years ago and wasn't impressed. But tonight it was really good. I had the turkey cranberry croissant and chocolate chip cookie, I really enjoyed my meal.
I had to wait at the window 20 to 25 minutes for a simple soup order. It has happened twice now and I can't wait that long when I'm busy doing Uber. I won't go back to that location in Layton ever again
