“Went to Burgers & Barley for a work team lunch, and it was absolutely delicious. The fries were some of the best I've ever had. Loved the homemade buns and the patty made to order (medium rare for me!). The burger was a little messy, but I didn't mind because it was so dang good. Then today I tried the French dip from the lunch menu... whhhaaaatttt!!! Not to mention when Joe is in the restaurant he's constantly talking to his consumers, challenging them to try new things ( if they don't like it he buys it and replaces it ) the atmosphere is fun all together!! “One of the best burgers I’ve had. I came in around 8:30 PM on a slow night, and the food took a little while to come out, but I’m not complaining. This wasn’t a premade burger that they warmed up, I watched them fire the patty after I ordered. I had the garlic burger, and the fried egg made a bit of a mess, as they always do. But overall the flavor on the patty, and garlic aoli was incredible. I’ll be back whenever I’m in town. 50/50 fries were also excellent.“

“Tommy’s Burgers is by far one of the best burgers in Utah County. The ingredients are fresh and so delicious. The chili is what they are known for and it does not disappoint. There is adequate seating, although parking seems to be a little limited. I would say the price point is right on target. This is such a great place to come grab a quick bite to eat!“

I had a great visit to the A&W in American Fork! The restaurant was impressively clean and well-kept — everything from the dining area to the restrooms looked spotless. It’s clear that cleanliness is a top priority here, which made the whole experience more enjoyable.

What really made the visit stand out, though, was the General Manager, Joseph. He was incredibly welcoming, professional, and clearly takes pride in running a top-notch restaurant. His attention to detail and friendly attitude created a positive, inviting atmosphere that you don’t always find in fast food spots.

If you're in the area and craving a classic root beer float or a burger, this A&W is the place to go. Clean, well-managed, and full of friendly faces — especially thanks to Joseph and his team!“

I got buffalo wings. My parents got different style burgers and two shakes. I didn't take pictures because I didn't want to ruin the experience for them.
