“I came here for the first time and they were doing Karaoke (DeAnn the karaoke host was so much fun!) They are so much kinder and warmer than the cheers in downtown. Dowtown place can get a little too crazy and even if their staff screws up or something- it's always the customer's fault! As of this location, their hospitality is 100% waaaaaayyy better.. I'm a good tipper-- so I'd rather spend money on this location than downtowns location, 💯“
“This bar for 21+ is a legend of a local hangout with 4 pool tables, multiple draft beers, and a small outdoor area.
The bartenders are fun and make great cocktails.
There is no food made here, so they allow you to bring in outside food or even have food delivered to yourself here.
The bar has been refurbished with fresh paint and beautiful flooring, along with new felt and leveled tables as of May 2025.
There is music via AMI jukebox with the app or can use cash to play tunes.
It's a fun place to meet up with friends.

“This place was a decent surprise! Sadly I don’t remember the waitress’s name, but she’s a brunette, Caucasian girl who reportedly “doesn’t usually work Mondays 😂”. She was great company! Gave recommendations as well as bartender’d up a few drinks for us.
I came for dinner on a work trip and for many of my team, this was our first impression of Utah, let alone the food. I just want to say thank you for having us and I’ll definitely try to fit this place into my next visit!
PS: The “Big Ass Pretzel” is genuinely a Big Ass Pretzel! 😂 (delicious too)“

Vegetarian options: They have a separate vegetarian menu.
Parking: You can park in the HoHo Gormet lot ONLY when the restaurant is closed. But this is a neighborhood bar! Walk on over!

“Absolutely loved this place, very beautiful. The food is phenomenal here. My husband got the pork belly bowl - meat was very good, in all very flavorful and filling. I got the vegan mushroom banh mi with papaya salad - extremely flavorful as well. Maybe the best banh mi I have ever had. The papaya salad is also great, loved the peanuts and fried onions in it.
The drinks were all good too. My husband got one of their seasonal cocktail and ginger sumac cider and I got their ca phe.
Definitely ask for their house made chilli crisps! It is heavenly!“

“Drinks seemed average for cast, but great staff and vibe. With the size, I'd expect it fills fast. But wasn't too crowded on a Monday. Vibe comes with loud early-2000's music on the interior and quieter outdoor seating areas.“

“I came in to apply for a job and T the manager on duty was so friendly , prompt with all her customers, she took my application and was so truthful upfront. I liked her attitude and frontness …. “I LOVE the Tap Room! What an incredible neighborhood bar where everyone is on a first name basis. I was in for my first time today and Tiffany and the owner make you feel like a regular and family. The owner even bought me a shot of some high end whiskey he just got in. Love this place and will most definitely be back!“

“I've been coming here for about a decade. Been to most strip clubs in UT. The local vibe here is something I haven't found anywhere else. It's a pool hall with a beautiful variety of dancers. No cover anytime and cheap beer. Best bar in town imo“

“Went in for a burger and a beer with some tots. It was all very tasty and very easy going. This is a terrific place to stop on and go incognito.
Vegetarian options: You can always go veggie with a pizza, and they offer a beyond burger patty for most of the sandwiches.“

“Every time we go here the staff especially Alisha and Shar are the BEST but all of the staff is great no matter what time of day you go. They have pretty darn good food options and the quality is also very good. This location is by far the best one they have.“
“Came on the promise of good karaoke and good location. It's definitely a dive bar, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Drinks were pretty good for the price. The seating is really limited inside and out on a busy Saturday night, pool tables take up much of the indoor real estate. There seemed to be a lot of regulars there for karaoke, which made it hard to break into the rotation. But all in all it was a pleasant experience. I'd go again and get there earlier for karaoke.“

“Stopped in for a couple of drinks, but wound up ordering breakfast which is served till 2 on the weekend. Madi was the bartender. Kellan was the chef. Food, and service were on point. Breakfast burrito was excellent, Diane ordered eggs, bacon and toast, also excellent and all fairly priced.. Stop in, this crew won't dissapoint!“

“I love this place. Warm salsa is amazing! Super friendly and the food is great. I have super picky Mexican food eating friends and they loved this place too. Mariachi band on Tuesdays can be fun and remember it’s ok to say no to them if you’re not in the mood. The food does take some time, but the quality is worth it!!“
“I was skeptical at first, but then got my head out of my a** and realized this is a local dive bar. I am someone who typically goes to high scale bars or restaurants - I got invited to this place cause mutual friends has considered this place to be “their spot” and not in the bad way where they are unwelcoming, but they like it so much they come every Friday and Saturday. People seem to fixate on the bouncer being rude, but it’s not the case. If you worked as a bouncer I think they’d get perspective. It’s a hard job to be a bouncer, the amount of bs you have to encounter is obscene. I have been here probably 10 times now, and I can only say good things. The bouncer , who I would hope would recognize me, looks and checks my id as if I have never been there, and I understand why. He is not willing to over look something and realize he screwed up. I can appreciate someone who takes the job seriously. The bar tender, jumper - is the nicest lady I’ve ever kind, a truly kind soul. She has recognized me after being here a couple of times - and knows what I drink and is so kind and patient. I really respect bars like this as I used to be a frequent at a bar in steamboat springs that operated similar to this bar does.
With that said:
This bar has always felt safe, in every and all terms.
