“I love Kafe Mamai so much. I’ve had some of the best meals of my life both at the food truck at the u of u campus and finally got to go to the physical store location today. I loved getting to try some things that weren’t on the truck menu and seeing the place! It’s in a great location and genuinely serves some of the best food in Salt Lake City. I had the goat curry, the plantains and also the sweet potatoes for desert. I tried rounds of food from my friends and loved the salmon, chicken and the mango coconut cobbler. Also I love Chef Abu he is genuinely the best.“

“Great food, oh my goodness. We had never tried Arabian food before. We were visiting for the weekend and saw the place. We went back the day for lunch, and it was amazing. The guy that took our order was so helpful. He explained the dishes. You could see them making the food and it looked good. I can't say enough about the food. Each bite was flavorful and delicious. We could have shared an order but took a bunch home. We ordered the chicken shawarma box with pita bread. We loved it. I highly recommend this place. The food was fantastic. We also got two baklava as we were leaving. See the picture we posted. They were awesome.“

“Our 1st visit, and certainly, not our last. Susy’s mushroom raviolis are so delicious. The noodle is tender, the pesto sauce is fresh, and the chicken mushroom fillings is flavorful, but not overpowering. The meal is well balanced with freshly grated cheese on top. We also loved the brisket ragu with gnocchi. The meat was intensely tender, the ragu had depth of flavor and the gnocchi were light. The avocado salad was awesome. The dressing brought all the fresh ingredients together. Reasonably priced for the very high quality fresh made pasta dishes and salad. We loved our meal and talking with Chef Susy was a delight. We will return so we can eat everything on the menu.“

“This is the best freshest tastiest burger around. Just tried one today for the first time. This place is hard to find and easily missed if you are not looking for it. We just happened to know the address so we didn't get lost (Basically close to the corner of 2700 South and 500 East). The staff makes you feel welcome and this small family owned business just feels homemade. All the food is fresh from scratch including the French Fries and fresh cut onion rings which were a generous portion (we shared one order between two people). Don't miss this place if you want a home cooked burger that does not taste like fast food. SO GOOD!“

“food OMG, I’m still drooling, thinking about the food from Pork n Roll !! Wow! We got the Porko Burger and the Chicharron Bowl and they were both amazing!! They have PORK BELLY in their dishes and it is to die for!Porko Burger - Brioche bun, angus burger patty topped with melted cheese, dip fried chopped pork belly, bacon, caramelized onions. It’s like a flavor explosion in your mouth.Chicharron Bowl - Pork belly, on top of yellow potatoes (Colombian Potato) and melted cheese, served with guacamole and garlic sauce. The potatoes were PERFECTLY cooked on this one!! ?Other notes:-Their Garlic sauce is what dreams are made of.-Their branding is ???. From the wrap on the truck, to the paper bags, to the parchment paper in the boxes for burgers to the frequent diner card, and to the Little Pig BRANDED on the bun.-The Staff is so nice!! “Whenever I travel I search for tacos. I was in SLC for a conference a few weeks back and when I saw a taco cart nearby I knew I had to try it. Well my search was over. I ate there all three days I was in town. Silvia and Maria Estela are amazing, lovely people, who cook everything fresh every day with love. I had carne, pastor, and lengua tacos, all phenomenal. I also had carne burrito and it's a perfect burrito, proper proportions and all the goodies spread evenly...and fried cheese! Also, highly recommend their fresh homemade salsas - esp the habanero! Such a great dining experience, I will 100% visit if I'm ever in SLC again, and I still dream of the burrito! Pa lo q saben!Vegetarian options: Fresh cooked veggies!“

“La Fogata is amazing! Service was quick and the food was so delicious. I got Asada, Barbacoa, Chicken, Carnitas and Al Pastor. All the meat was beautifully seasoned and flavorful. The chicken was hot and juicy.Sobedia was super friendly. The customisation available is amazing with the toppings bar and the green sauce was good.Its great that she takes all payment types cuz I didn't bring cash, so the fact that she takes Venmo really saved my day.Definitely coming back for more.“

“I was watching one of those videos where they fill an anthill with aluminum to see the structure of the tunnels. And as I watched I was just thinking what an incredible waste of life it was. Like now that you know what the tunnels look like, what are you going to do with that information? Was it worth it?I needed to clear my head so I walked down the street to try this burrito truck. I was still feeling weird about the video so I got mine vegetarian. And when it came out it smelled so good but I was really in my head wondering all sorts of stuff. Like do potatoes feel pain? Do legumes scream? What is life? More importantly, what determines the value of a life other than an imaginary mental line that we draw between plants and bugs, bugs and animals, the animals we eat and the animals we let sleep in our beds.Mindlessly, I took a bite and all of that thought paralysis left me. It was amazing. Everything was just right. So I took another bite. I was in burrito heaven and, if it was screaming, I was too lost in ecstacy to hear it. This is the best breakfast burrito in SLC. I'll be back for sure. I think I might even try the one with beef next time.“

“Taquiza Santana, has serviced our business on 3 separate occasions now. We have a monthly meeting where the business fits the bill for lunch for all employees and this taco truck is one that all my employees specifically request come back. Eddie who is the owner is awesome to deal with, shows up on time, food is absolutely killer delicious and reasonably priced and he pulls up right out back to our bay door and cooks right from there. Can't beat this when looking for relatively healthy, fast food. we had our questions why this Cupbop place was rated higher than the others, which were still highly rated just not as high.
