“I don't understand the bad reviews. I've eaten at Zhang's for years with my parents and it's always been good. They moved away years ago, but I was in Ogden and decided to eat here. “First time here and was totally happy with the entire visit from service, food, and atmosphere. The server was on point there when needed and disappeared out of sight. The music was great for the environment not to loud to interrupt our conversation. The food was great from the bread to the main course. The Lasagna was amazing recommend it to anyone. OMG this was THE BEST vegan mushroom Swiss burger I've ever had. EVER. Utah is a bit of a commute, but I would travel back just to go to this place. They had one of the most extensive and awesome vegan menus for a place that is not a vegan restaurant. Tots were perfect, cider was amazing, and the people were awesome. The place has a really cool and relaxed tavern vibe, great bar and music, but very easy to have a conversation and enjoy the atmosphere and incredible food. Don't miss this one, seriously. ❤“

“The Pie is always awesome! I personally like this location more than the University one in SLC which is more of a University feel. This location is quaint and the year-round seating outside is wonderful. I feel like I'm on vacation just dining by myself outside by the fire pits. It's also a great place for a date night.
The last time I got pizza here to go it took a little longer so they gave me an extra pizza for my wait.“

“We had a great time yesterday 9/11/2025. The staff went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable including making sure our dog had water. We felt like we stepped into our friend's house. The food was great! We had a sandwich and they even wrapped up the half sandwich we didn't finish and added some great pickles to our to go bag. A massive thank you to the staff.“

“I was hungry for spicy sausage pizza but didn’t see sausage as a pizza topping. I noticed that there was a spicy sausage penne pasta so I asked the waitress if they could use that sauce on the pepperoni pizza that was on the menu. She checked and the chef said absolutely and it was so delicious. I suggested they add that to their menu as the spicy rooster pizza! Our server was lovely and extremely friendly and knowledgeable about her job. We had a wonderful time passing through the town of Ogden.“

“I really like that this place is opened even with all the Corona crap going on. Kids are still able to have fun here and build their ice cream! It's a bit spendy tho. I brought 3 kids here and after my daughter's friend dropped his ice cream and I had to pay for that, it was well over $30 for 5 ice creams that weren't even half full. Still fun for the kids tho“

“The owner really cares about the customers experience, Ive been going there since I can remember, I got taught by family how to make a good bowl. Mongolian bbq isn’t a normal food experience to most and could be intimidating. It’s not to me but every time I’ve seen the owner ask if someone has ate there before and they say no he goes full attention so that the customer can enjoy the experience. The staff rarely changes. Which shows something to me the customers like what they get and the employees as well. They are so friendly and attentive and have gone above and beyond for my 2 kids under 4 that I can’t even explain. Me begging to help clean the spill that my daughter caused trying to share her drink with her 2 year old sister and splashing all over everything bowls chairs everything. This isnt new it’s what I’ve experienced since I was 7-8 and I’m 30 now.“
