“Had the Lunch Special, came with Sweet and Sour Chicken and Ham Fried Rice. Plenty of food. Made two meals out of it. Tasted Wonderful. Clean place with good parking. Fast service. I have had the Sesame Chicken and the Hot and Spicy Chicken. Both were good.“

I was skeptical at first because it's by a gas station but it's actually a nice clean place where you can sit and eat inside or take out. My husband and I ordered a lot and we were not disappointed. “This was honestly the best Chinese I have had in Utah. My husband, who’s not big on Chinese, cleaned the plates.We had the juicy dumplings, cream cheese wontons, and general tso’s (basic I know) but seriously so good.I do think this is best eaten at the restaurant vs takeout.“

“Great Pho, totally worth it to get the big one if you're sharing with someone else. I love the brisket and beef one. I also love the cream cheese wontons, they're crispy, well filled and super important: they're not oily. “This is one of my absolute favorite places to eat! I love getting the all you can eat grill option. Getting to put together my own custom stir fry is so fun! The veggies were fresh, noodles and rice cooked well, and I love getting to mix my own sauce. The meats were delicious and generously served. We tried the spring rolls and they were so good too! It's definitely more of a hole in the wall place but that's where the best food usually is!“

“The salted egg dessert bao is to die for. Chocolate dough and creamy egg. It's the perfect slightly sweet easter egg. This special dessert bao is only available in April so run, don't walk, to get one or more. The salted egg bao takes a few minutes longer than the other bao, but it is so worth it.“

“I went to Red Lotus on 3/30 with a friend of mine and it was a little cloudy so we didn't know if the patio was open. We had two dogs with us so outdoor seating was a must. Luckily, they were and we enjoyed light rain on their patio. The food was amazing and I want to personally call out Genaro, our server. He was amazingly awesome!!! He deserves a raise, keep up the good work Red Lotus!!!!“

“It was raining and coldOur seating area was near windows, the AC was on and it was cold until they turned AC off and a cup of hot H2O helped. Had to wait over 1 hr. They wouldn't take a reservation or call ahead when we tried. We were told that take out would take as long as Wait time. It wouldn't have been as long as we had to wait...we wanted the Good Food so waited it out.We love the Gluten free menu! ?Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu is very good. Good options“

“Everything about this place was fantastic. The drinks were wonderful. Each one of us had a different beverage and they were each very tasty. We ordered the fried spring rolls and Mushu pork. Perfect portions for lunch. The chicken fried rice was very tasty with just the right amount of food that we all enjoyed. We would certainly eat here again and I would recommend this place to anyone coming in for a nice lunch or dinner. The service was fantastic and the ambient music was even better.“

“My daughter and I ate at J Wongs on our final day in Salt Lake City. This place is very good! This was our first experience with a robot food delivery server!! Very cool technology and it made for a memorable experience! The food was very good and the portions were very generous. I had the Drunken Noodles and my daughter had the sesame chicken. “My family has gone here for over 25 years. It is our favorite Chinese restaurant & where we go for special occasions! I love the taste of everything I've ever ordered but usually end up getting my favorite dishes, all vegetarian with soy 'chicken'. They also offer meat dishes, so any meat eaters can get what they want as well. When I'm buying, everyone eats veggie, but my meat-eating kids don't mind because they love the soy 'meat'!My favorites (all soy chicken) Moo Goo Gai Pan, Mu Shu Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken. Also veggie Won Ton Soup & Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls. My kids also like the Hot & Sour Soup, & the beef & seafood dishes.Vegetarian options: There is a complete separate vegetarian menu as well as a separate meat menu. A lot of variety to choose from. This is the only place I've ever found that does a perfect vegetarian Sweet & Sour Chicken!“

“I had the honey sesame chicken & tried the strawberry chicken & LOVED both. It’s on my must dine out places now for when in town. (That was a text to my brother after going to his fav Joy Luck a few weeks ago).I flew to Utah for a quick day trip this weekend & loaded up my crew to go again. I got to try the lo mein & general tso chicken, plus the two I had last time all perfect including the delicious fried rice, wontons, etc. I loved family time and trying new dishes. “So this place has been around for a long time and I have a greater appreciation for it. They still do the classic carts on the weekends and you can also get dim sum during the off times as well along with other dishes. It’s a classic spot that serves all the traditional dim sum items along with some more selections. My brothers really like the Honey Walnut Shrimp and is a great item to share. Service is much better than what I remember and am glad that this place still exists! Parking is limited, but there are plenty of tables. One of the go to spot to hose an Asian wedding in Salt Lake! Pretty standard ambiance that is open.“

It looks a little ghetto or run down and the service could use some improvement (two different servers that were not very attentive or proactive), but the food was quite tasty and enjoyable. “All the Buddha and Hindu decor was nice but the restaurant is very small. 2 booths and 2 tables.. table's for 2-1 1/2 people. They do make great food. The shrimp. Honey walnut. Non vegan. Was delicious. The chicken. We got sesame. Was.... Chicken... Not significantly good or bad... If it was a date. It would be the last. Then you might run into it years later. Awkwardly... Be like... "How are you? Taste any better?... No. I don't wanna find out... Let's just.. cherish the uh... One time". Then you would leave and think. Thank God I didn't commit to that chicken. “It was great! The first time dining out with my family in a couple years actually. We were nervous, but it went better than expected! Their food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and caring. My husband and I got our entré first and our 3 kids just wanted to eat our food because we were still waiting a while for their rolls to come out. “Panda Express is not always a great place for me but this location has been the best I have eaten at. For fast food American Chinese this is pretty good and has very good staff and a clean eating area. The new Panda Express loyalty program is good with a free entree when you register. The fried rice was good and my wife and son liked the noodles. The orange chicken was average and was good. The sesame chicken was one of our favorites and would order again with the teriyaki chicken. The firecracker shrimp was also very good with a little kick to it. Will go back and eat here again as the staff is nice and the food is good for what it is. For a fast food American style Chinese place this is a five star place and the best Panda Express I have eaten at.“

“as an east coaster having moved west three years ago and recently new to salt lake this spot is the place to go. total hole in the wall and yes the neighborhood isn’t the safest or most pleasing to the eye but that’s the ambience in seeking cheap, delicious, large portions of drool inducing satisfying delectable Chinese food. every single friend or relative i take here is skeptical but ALWAYS concludes with saying it’s the best Chinese food they’ve ever had. the wait staff is also very friendly and the food is fresh. truly a smashing joint. my absolute favorite in the city. if you give it a chance you will be pleased.“
