“My husband and I go to this specific menchies at least 4 times a week. We have loved coming here each time. The staff are always so friendly and know us by now lol
I do wish there was more seating outside but overall we love this location!
I do have to say that after being bored one night and reading the reviews we did get a couple of good laughs. Since we go to this location so often we believe all the staff there are the sweetest and they do their best to keep up with all the hustle and bustle. Whether you get a roll, Terriyaki beef/chicken or the miso soup. I lived in Japan for 2 years and this place is without a doubt the best place I've been to in Utah that can compare. Most everyone can find something on their menu. Friendly staff. The dinning space is a little constricting & seating comfort could be improved. The parking is a little tough. One way in, one way out, be careful! 🫠 We have had to wait a while for food & customer service to check out, but all in all, a win!“

“Out of all the breweries in Ogden this is my fav! (Sorry Ogden Beer Co). They make the best tasting beer. They have a beer type for all beer lovers. If you’re a sour a fan then you gotta check them out. It’s a bar with no kitchen. They have no problem with you bringing food or ordering it. Fun place for a date night- bring your own food, have a beer, play one of their board games. Veteran owned, highly recommend.“

“They are always on point. I had an energy plam beach drink was excellent choice. The nursing facility staff gets drinks for the staff. The service is always fast and the employees are punctual and polite on big orders.“

My main complaint was i think they were cleaning the bathroom or something. There was an extremely high smell of chemicals. To the owner, i would highly recommend dilute them with water, and or do this towards closing time for the fumes to settle overnight. We were seated just outside the bathroom, relocated several seats down, was still getting a headache from it.“

“I ordered the whole chicken with rice beans and mac salad. When I tell you this is probably the best chicken I have ever had in my life!!! The rice and beans were really good as well. I was not a fan of the mac salad. I would highly recommend this place for rotisserie chicken. I have been sleeping on this place but I will be a regular from now on.“

“While traveling through the Ogden area, I got a desire for BBQ and went to the Goodwood restaurant for takeout. I ordered the burnt ends dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The meat was well cooked and of good quantity. It was nice to receive properly cooked broccoli also. I will definitely return to this restaurant when I am in the area.“

“I came in with my boyfriend looking for a brunch kind of pick-me up meal and the employees working all made a fantastic impression upon me, the woman zoie who was working the register was very kind to my boyfriend and I and she was very helpful with navigating the menu while holding very engaging small talk. Her and the other employees also gave us our food in a timely manner and it was fantastic to say the very least!“

“I was hungry for spicy sausage pizza but didn’t see sausage as a pizza topping. I noticed that there was a spicy sausage penne pasta so I asked the waitress if they could use that sauce on the pepperoni pizza that was on the menu. She checked and the chef said absolutely and it was so delicious. I suggested they add that to their menu as the spicy rooster pizza! Our server was lovely and extremely friendly and knowledgeable about her job. We had a wonderful time passing through the town of Ogden.“

“Update: policy was removed, thank you! Tried to charge 2 dollars extra because my fiancé doesn’t do ice machine ice because of potential mold. We go to many different beans and brews and have never been taxed an extra 2 bucks for that. The person openly admitted that the manager has told them to do this. I would think that’s a corporate decision not a managers choice. Either way we left the drive through and drove 2 minutes up the road to Starbucks.“

“Located 25th street downtown Ogden, offers a full menu for breakfast lunch and dinner. I would say they certainly specialize in Breakfast items with extensive stuffed French toast items. I had the pumpkin pie stuffed French toast and was delicious!! My wife had eggs Benedict and came with thick slices of tomatoes and avocado and was good but not the best I’ve had. My daughter got chicken strip tenders with fries and they were good as well with large portions. We ordered a large cinnamon roll to go and it turned out to be more like a cinnamon roll coffee cake with more of a cake vs bread texture. It was ok but I was expecting a chewy warm roll texture. They have a large menu and it is definitely worth trying out.“

Not as happy with my food though. My Beijing beef lactose normal amazing flavor that was kind of bland and way dry. My chow mein was a little overcooked so the noodles were a little too crunchy. But it was so busy in there I think they were just doing the best that they could to get the food out as fast as they could onto the heat table. Because usually their food is pretty dang good there. But I just want to praise the crew they were phenomenal!“
