“Being someone that doesn't drink, i still enjoyed being here. I just got a coke and a grilled cheese on a bingo night. Taylor (i think) was our waitress, total sweetheart running her butt off. The grilled cheese was delicious and the coke was good. Of course being on state street its a bit sketchy of an area and having to park on the next block over wasn't ideal as it's pretty dimly lit. Although that doesn't affect the bar itself, it does make the inside of the bar feel like a safe haven from all that sketch outside. I highly suggest just getting a ride share or taxi here as bringing your own vehicle isn't ideal either for parking reasons mainly.“

“This is a Real Bar! They have an excellent selection of house cocktails, but can execute any classic cocktail with ease. Domestics and imported beers are at the ready, as is Underberg. I am chuffed to have sidled up to this bar while passing through town.“

“2.5 stars The beer selection is amazing. The food is wonderful…however!, it will take more time than you’d think for service and food. We’ve given this place 4 tries, and while sitting at the bar is amazing for drinks, the table service and food is super slow so just set those expectations appropriately. This is a consistent experience, every time, which is a bummer with the service and food because the food is great! But even if you’re sitting at the bar, food service is *extremely* slow (40 minutes for an order of wings). It’s so unfortunate because otherwise, this place is a gem.“

“My partner and I stumbled on this place on our way to another bar we were just going to grab a quick drink but ended up enjoying ourselves before we knew it we had three drinks and a desert. Great place for a date or to catch up with friends comfortable yet stylish I could hear well enough to actually have a conversation. Every drink we had was delicious! Highly recommend.“

“The atmosphere is beautiful and the live music-saxophone-player is was amazing, (and an unexpected surprise). The craft cocktails were delicious. The presentation of the food was beautiful and very good, however it was a bit pricey compared to the up scale bars and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, our bartender seems to be more interested in talking to the other staff, instead of paying attention to his customers. We had to wait to order drinks, we waited and waited to order food, and he had a really difficult time checking back to see if we needed more drinks. When the food arrived, the bartender had gotten our order wrong, but he was quick to correct it. The scallops, the fennel salad, the calamari, and the miso chicken were delicious. We did inquire about gluten-free options, but our bartender didn't seem to know what "gluten-free" was, and had nothing to suggest. It would be nice to have gluten-free indicated on the menu. (Also, the online menu was different from the in person menu. Not a big deal, but it should be updated.) Overall, we had a really nice experience and were very happy with our food and drink selections. We will be coming back with friends.“

“We arrived roughly at 9:30pm prior to the cover and had a great time winding down our evening at Sayonara. The bar staff were kind, attentive, and responsive. Quick to take your order and had bar staff coming to your table with drink service.

Of the course the vibes are some of the best in downtown SLC. We particularly enjoyed the bar back and pool room.“

“I attended a Day Party/Brunch yesterday (March 30th) and it was a very nice event, atmosphere, small rooftop area and hookah, nice tables! The DJs played a variety of genres, people socialized and danced. Awesome servers and bartenders. My server, Jacob Meadows, provided excellent service and he was very friendly and personable. I like how there is a food hall directly next door, connected to The Drift Lounge. I highly recommend Taste of Louisiana!“

“D&D's is a classic neighborhood bar. Really great staff and very reasonable drink prices.
Food is available through a counter in the wall, that lets you order from Yoko's next door and eat it in the bar. Friendly owners. Great people and dog watching through the big windows is a plus.

“A nice cocktail bar / lounge in Salt Lake City in the Monaco hotel. Service is good & attentive and the ambiance. My steak frites were cooked perfectly but founded the food to be a bit too salty. If they slightly reduced the amount of salt on the food it will be better. Overall will come again just for cocktails.“

Started at Mannys across the street for their Kareoke (birthday girl wanted to sing) a bad drink was made was asked to fix it (15 dollar AMF), they then denied the entire party drinks. Then we found ourselves at Willie's, prices were great, drinks were made right, food and service has perfect! Natasha was the best, she deserves a bonus! She was so respectful patient and kind! Did the job like it should be done! Highly recommend this bar!“

“What an amazing little bar. Just a stones throw from Flankers, my favorite bar & grill in America.

Kelley is amazing and so is Ethan and Hannah is wonderful too. I’m sure there are other people and that they are wonderful too.

Only complaint is that there was a frozen hamburger outside.

I went back and talked to the manager, it was a hot n’ spicy mcckicken, not a hamburger. Anyway, they were out of banana pudding when I went. Weird. I don’t think they even have it. Super weird.“

“If you find yourself at Destinations Lounge you are most likely staying at the City Creek Marriott. The hour right before closing is often the busiest time of the night, with travelers arriving with hopes of finding food and a night cap. Unlock other hotel bars who promptly close at the designated time the staff at Destinations allowed for service right up til their closing time of 11 p.m. I applaud our Brazilian bartender for being polite and welcoming, ensuring the “famished” traveler they could get a bite despite it being closing time. Nicely done!

What was not so nice was the price gauging of well known tequila brands. If you know about Utahs liquor laws you realize a rocks pour can only be 1.5 ounces and is out of the bartenders hands. Totally fine with that. What is outrageous is to charge $18 for any call spirit and soda - in any state. We were not at an airport and sure it was downtown in a city but when premium scotch, vodka and rum all top out at $20 something is wrong with your tequila pricing list.“

“We sat in a booth downstairs in the speakeasy. Very intimate and cozy. Piped in music but not too loud. We thought maybe we would be forgotten since we were out of sight but were not. Service was friendly and responsive. We had the chili rellenos and the New York Steak and both were delicious! Chili rellenos crunchy on the outside and oh so good on the inside. Steak was cooked medium and was very tender and flavorful. Topped it off with the Thor cocktail. We will be coming back.“

“Cool speak easy with good food and drinks. They need to have coat hooks or racks for patrons somewhere. Also communicate with patrons. We were forced to sit at the bar as tables sat empty for reservations. During our visit we had a drink and a salad and not a single table was seated be the time we were done and left. We would have preferred a table to the bar.“
