Talked to four people on the staff during our experience. EVERY SINGLE PERSON WAS AWESOME!!! So nice and helpful and pleasant. Sometimes that goes a long way. And of course the sweet barbacoa salad was fantastic. Whomever the folks were working the line at around two pm and the ones wiping off the tables and such were just lovely people! Thank you so much! A+++
the food is always so fresh and the employees are sweet as well
It's decently priced for an airport restaurant and you get $5 off if you order online. Plus instead of waiting in a long line my food was ready exactly when it said it would be. Unfortunately, I got beef instead of the chicken I ordered. The burrito was also a bit cold but overall it wasn't bad. The team member was really nice and helpful.

Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican offers flavorful food, with rice and beans being a highlight. The SLC Airport location stands out for its great service and friendly, fast, attentive staff. Vegetarians will delight in the variety of options, including superb enchiladas, nachos with melted cheese and guacamole, and incredibly tasty taco salad. However, some diners have experienced issues with dry steak and inconsistencies in orders, like finding a hair in their bowl. The breakfast burrito remains a reasonable and good breakfast choice, especially when customized with fresh ingredients. While the restaurant can be cramped and the dining area a little dirty, Cafe Rio remains a popular choice for its delicious, fresh food and convenient service.
