“Update: I will no longer tip at this establishment after seeing a male worker grab a handful of tips out of the tip jar for his own pocket. It reminds me of another place who would keep tips for themselves.

The current type of tofu they offer doesn't taste great. Some sauces are too spicy or have an artificial taste. Other than that it's good for abc style food.

Good, it was medium sized, they could have been more generous with the vegetables in the dish. The food tastes pretty good. Next time I'll order the noodles. They could improve their drink selection the most.“

“So I wanted to try something new at Zao and decided to go with the Honey Sriracha as you can see in the picture provided. It has a hint of sweetness but not all-out sugary like teriyaki. It was also enjoyably spicy. I didn’t use any of the sauce except when I was left with just some rice at the end. I’d get it again for sure.“

“Greeted with a smile, ordered the tiff bow with extra Edamame, chicken teriyaki bowl, the kids chicken bowl, and one medium drink spent about $43. All of it was cooked and prepared to perfection in less than 10 minutes. It was a big portion of food, was able to take home leftovers. Bathrooms available for men and women in the back. Will definitely be returning.

The steak was so tender and the flavor was perfect. I also ordered the medium spicy and it was just what they said. One of my favorite places for lunch or dinner.“

“I was visiting Utah with family and found this place. Service was phenomenal. We got a K-dawg, 4 Cupbops and a Mega Mandoo. I found out after ordering that the 4 Cupbops and Mega Mandoo is part of a group meal which is much cheaper and I didn’t see until after ordering. I brought it up to them and the refunded and recharged the meal and gave me the K-dawg for free. Even after leaving a generous tip it saved me $15.00. If I could give 6 stars for service I would. Food was great. If you don’t regularly eat spicy food recommend starting at a 5 and moving from there. Highly recommend this place.“

You do order from a kiosk and then you just leave and don't really engage with anyone which for an introvert I dont really mind but I can see where that can be hard. “Surprisingly good! I usually seek out the top rated sushi restaurant on every work trip I take, so I feel like I've got some experiences to compare the sushi joints.

The food is good and fresh, a wide variety of rolls and sashimi, and solid apps.

Best part of it is the price. Most of the rolls are $10, so it’s close to half the cost of comparable sushi places.“

“The fried tofu at 7.5 spice is very mild. Good flavor, but if you're looking for more heat I'd say 9 is a better option. It's closer to Sriracha, but not too spicy yet. The apple and strawberry flavored milkies are also pretty good and not odd tasting. The Korean corn dogs are best served with corn flakes, and the all cheese weighs a decent amount. Overall, good value and the taste is worth the price.“

The beef bulgogi is amazing, especially with a scoop of macaroni in it. The music alternates between beautiful and weird. It’s like high class Cup Bop.“

“We stopped by the Soy Sushi Bar and Grill for dinner, 4927 S State St, Murray, UT 84107 on the trip to visit my friend in Salt Lake City from my home town, Irvine, California . We have an opportunity to enjoy a great dinner, very fresh sashimi platter, playboy roll, seafood fried rice… We are surprise that in a small town like this place , we are able to find a great Japanese food that is as great as the Taiko Restaurant in My home town in Southern California …“

“Always amazing tasting food! Quality of sashimi & nigiri, as well as rolls is great! Service was good and speed of service was a bit on the slower side, as they seemed to be understaffed. One thing that I find offensive as a great tipper (usually between 22-30%), is that Tsunami determines tip based on total (after 8%+ sales tax), rather than the subtotal. Why should a patron pay 20-22% tip on the 8%+ sales tax paid to the city & state???!!! A fair number of restaurants practice this very deceitful method of calculating tips. This would translate into an additional $16-18 on a $200 meal (subtotal)!!! Why should the waitstaff get $16-20 more (for no additional effort on their part but just because the restaurant dishonestly calculates the tips by doing so on the total incl tax???). I believe in generously taking care of servers who go the extra mile but it is ludicrous to think that one should add a crisp $20 onto the bill just because uncle Utah takes his cut too! ;) ;) ;) lmao“

“I hardly leave reviews unless they're really good or junk. This one deserved a great review. Ask for Austin! Super cool guy who hooks you up with whatever you need. Even when I thought we were ordering a lot, he would describe how much we're having and was confident what we could finish.

Went in for a Valentine's Day dinner at 5pm and even though the wait list had 9 parties in front of us and the host said the wait said an hour it only took us 25min to be seated and have our drinks and orders taken. We ordered probly 5-6x and got things within a few min of finishing our food.

All the fish tasted fresh and just melted in your mouth. Get all the premium nigiri and carpaccio. The King and Jintastic were our favorite sushi rolls. Lowkey the Korean galbi and fried chicken was fire too. Mochi ice cream is real good too.

Entree servings are small which is good so you can try many things and not be scared of having to pay for leftovers.“

“Everything I've tried here has been so good, with really fresh ingredients-- fresh vegetables, fresh basil, etc. My favorite so far is the panang curry, however I also have a weakness for the sticky rice with mango (I don't know where they find their mangoes but theirs are way better than any that I can find!)
