“Our server was excellent! The food was very good too! I got a taco plate which had a chicken taco, a sweet pork taco, and shredded beef taco. I think I like the shredded beef taco the best because of the spices they put in it. My daughter-in-law got a sweet pork burrito with a cream sauce on top. She said it was very good. We will definitely be going back.“
“An update! My friend and I hosted our 70th birthdays here and it was the best decision ever! Vicki and her team are just wonderful. Everyone had a great time. It felt like "home" ! All the positive reviews say it better than I can. Shhhhh Let's just keep this gem of a tap room our secret!!!!A really fun place and the food is very good with excellent brand of gluten-free bread!“

“The menu is seasonal so that food pics may not be entirely accurate. Nonetheless, the food was purposefully made and the service was great. The chef tries out new recipes and perhaps may take some feedback from patrons but a good time was had.“

“Food is very authentic and tasty. It is also on the spicier side so beware of the heat. BBQ is on point and the fish is a must. There is a lot of carbs and veggies underneath the fish and it's a big dish.Parking is easy and there's plenty of space.Good spot!“

“The very best bar speakeasy type bar in Salt Lake. My single favorite cocktail, the Absinthe Mind, is a must if you visit. Their kitchen, bar, and choice of jazz is always lovely. If you visit on a Sunday for brunch, prepare yourself; IT IS INCREDIBLE.“

“Great place with great atmosphere! The beer selection is pretty stellar and service is always good. The only downside is that it seems like on big game days the quality of the food goes down. Have had burnt pizza or underdone nachos on a couple of occasions, but I guess it comes with the crowds.“

“I stay often at the Hyatt Place, a hotel that shares the same parking lot as the Elixir Lounge.I've had the opportunity to visit on multiple occasions, and I highly recommend it. It's a family-owned establishment where two generations of owner/daughter take excellent care of their customers.Kaylee has waited on me several times. She's always quick to smile, make me feel welcome, and remembers my order -- which is a tall task because I'm a bit high maintence with how I like my Woodford Old Fashioneds.I highly recommend this to anyone in the area!“

“We love our Spitz location. It's a really fun atmosphere and always very clean. I often try different things from the menu and have yet to try something I didn't like. Everything I've had so far is fresh and super flavorful! I 100% recommend.“

“I’ve met a lot of cool people over the years here, everyone is always really friendly here, and it’s always a great vibe. It’s worth anyone’s time to check out. Karaoke is 7 nights a week which is really unique for a bar and it never fails to be a great time. That guy Bucket at the front has a nice smile.“

“We are back for another night of APA pool league and you know how I feel about the burger game here... it's solid... EASILY my favorite and I've been to some great spots... the did NOT disappoint! Very exceptional food again! The gent behind the bar must have walked 20,000 steps during the busy Wednesday night. Great music, good people and great service by this one man band with a kitchen crew of 2... Had a night cap with 6 buffet wings... hot, good meat, with blue cheese!?!? Dang!“

“This is our go to when my husband and I go out for date night. All the workers are so nice, their drinks are always spot on. They're quick even when it's packed. And even their food is delicious. Although if I'm honest I've only had it after like 4 or 5 drinks so. Make of that what you will. ?? Totally recommend this place.“

“The best garlic burger I’ve had. While the menu and burgers are simple, they are soo good! You’ll be back for more! They often have live music and fun outdoor seating with mood lighting, so the vibes are phenomenal.Parking: The parking lot is small, but sufficient for the business.“

“My wife and I were going to go to Lucky 13 for her birthday and our anniversary. They were slammed, so we looked for an alternative. Bandits pulled up as an option that neither of us knew about. (Even though we both grew up in Cottonwood Heights)We were greeted upon walking in, and were seated immediately. We started with fried pickles, and they were amazing! 10/10. My wife had the Best in the West burger with onion rings and ranch beans. She loved every part of it. I had the pick 3 combo with Tri Tip, Pulled Pork, and half chicken with daily vegetables and garlic fries as a side. The sides were amazing, and the tri tip was phenomenal. The pulled pork was a little bland, and I would not do the half a chicken again. Service was amazingly friendly. The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star visit is my drink bottoming out and having to wait for 5-10 minutes for a refill. We will be recommending Bandits, and will be back!“

“I've been here a couple times. Great food and service. But I was really disappointed last night. A bunch of us met up for drinks after a concert and since I was a designated driver, I ordered a Pepsi. I was charged $2.50, which was fine. A lot of places give it to you for free or cheap if you're driving, but I don't mind paying. My issue is that I was charged the same for every refill. I NEVER have to pay for soda refills at any other bar. To charge for refills at a bar in a state with strict "not a drop" laws, when someone is being responsible and not drinking or is trying to sober up, is unconscionable. Its a really bad policy. Do better, Ice Haus.“

“Ok y'all, hear me out. This place isn't the fanciest, but that's what makes it great. They cook up a steak sexier than a summer dress on a windy day. The char makes you want to run out into the street and yell a high pitched "yeah" at the top of your lungs. The menu is so reasonably priced, and the portions so large, you'll struggle not leaving a larger tip than you normally would. Know what you're getting yourself into, Post 71 is full of "regulars", so you may get an up and down look as an outsider, but the staff are as friendly as can be and will make sure you are well taken care of. Sadly, I missed the memo that the André the Giant worthy T-bone steak is only served on Saturdays and requires a two day in advance RSVP. If you want a good solid meal that won't break the bank, come over and support Post 71.“

“Went for St Patrick's and it was a blast! This place will be great for sporting events but for St Patrick's they had the firefighters bagpipe band come by and it was amazing! Food was great (tried the sampler) and the beer selection is pretty good. Plan to return to this place soon.“
“We're here for pool league tonight. Three tables, a little tilted but good felt, springy bumpers and fast. No food as the place is going through a multiple phased renovation. The kitchen is currently under construction so no food to review tonight. The bartender is very good. He can mix drinks and provides a nice pour from the tap. He comes around occasionally to see if we need anything. Very service oriented and kind. There are a number of regulars at the bar and 9 flat screens playing NCAA and NBA hoops... March Madness y'all! Next time I'll have to review the food and the renovations. So far I'm having fun, good tunes on the jukebox. I gave a 4 star because of the good people I've met here. Due just brought his Pit in. Must be dog friendly.“

“I met a friend here and stayed for only a short time (30-45 min) but while I was here I had a great experience with the waitress and other patrons who were sitting near our table, watching a game on TV. My experience here was very positive and I'll be going back sometime to stay for longer and be able to try the food and get a better feel for everything.“
“VFW posts are well known for being very supportive of veterans and this post is no exception. They run an open bar, non-veterans are welcome, and you don’t need to be a BFW member to have a drink there. Drinks are very cheap, the bartenders are friendly and fast, you can run a tab with a credit card, and they have pretty good bands most weekends. This is not a fancy bar. I was there with some other vets and it was very friendly. I recommend it.“

“Grace is the best bartender ever! Even though this is more of a place to go to in the evening, it was a solid brunch spot. We had the chicken and waffles & boy o boy it was just amazing! We also had the Nachos with ground beef to share which was spectacular.“

“According to ancestry.com I am 23% Greek, but unfortunately the only physical characteristic that proves this is my bushy unibrow that I have to pluck about twice a week. Because of this Greek heritage, I have grown up around some fantastic Greek cuisine from food festivals, home cooking, and some favorite Mediterranean restaurants. I won't lie, the first time I had Spitz a few years ago I was disappointed. I don't know if I caught them on a bad day or if they caught me on a bad day, because it has been fantastic every time since. Great Mediterranean flavors with a healthy dose of American fusion. Last week my wife and I stopped in the Lehi Spitz on our way up to ski at Brighton. We had to restrain ourselves from stopping for seconds at the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon. Great service, fantastic food, and a youthful ambiance. Pro-tip: Make sure you have a toothbrush or about 5 sticks of gum after consuming that amount of Feta and Banana Peppers.“

“The portion size will blow you away. You will likely be taking food home when you go here. The food was tasty, timely, and large in quantity. Definitely one of the very few option / places where you will feel you actually got your money's worth. Definitely would recommend for a date night or a family outing. We took the family and all had something they liked.“

“This is a fun place to hang out, we had a hockey tournament party and they were very accomodating to let us come in with a large group and kind of take over. Pizza is excellent and a wide selection of beer and spirits. I'll be back soon I hope!“

“If you’re looking for high end gourmet tacos this is your place! They’re too high priced to be regular street tacos. I got the tilapia fish tacos and it was yummy ? Had some tasty avocado type sauce with a big piece of tilapia and lime. The nacho fries were top notch. Everything you’d expect with cheese, greens, pico and I think a tiny of mango! Definitely try if you’re looking for something new. The tacos are a little more expensive than a regular place so be prepared to pay for it if you’re hungry.“

“Wonderful! First time there, primarily for the Mariachi performing group (Tuesdays 6-8). They were fantastic! It can be a little loud, but heh... they performed their first number for the entire restaurant, then proceeded to go around to the different tables and, if requested, perform a special number for the people at that table or booth. We found the food to be quite good as well. Service was perfectly fine. It can be difficult to hold conversations while they are singing, so next time, we might get there at maybe 530, enjoy our food and chat, and then enjoy the performing group for however long we like. Highly recommend this place for the excellent food and for the Mariachi band on Tuesday evenings.“
