If you order nothing but the ube pancakes, you could be happy for the rest of the day. These pancakes are fluffy and the passionfruit cream between them is to dieeee for. I’d personally come back just for the pancakes!!!
We also ordered the Vegan Bahn Mi, a side of bok choy and avocado toast with a side of potatoes. Everything was seriously incredible - flavour profiles were well balanced. While there was a slightly spicy sauce on the eggs, it was more tangy than spicy and paired perfectly with the eggs. The Vietnamese coffee was made perfectly - not too sweet and had a hint of bitterness from the coffee so you know it’s the goood stuff.

I don’t drink so while I can’t vouch for the alcoholic drinks, I did see a lot of people order them as well!

The ambiance and decor are also awesome.

Parking: there are lots of 2h parking spots for free around the corner and across the street as well. I went on a Sunday so it didn’t seem like the 2h rule was super enforced but take this advice on your own discretion! I am sure weekdays are more strict.

Service is typically great but we had an instance where a wait staff member neglected our table after we got food to the point where we had to check out with the hostess after waiting 20-30 minutes for the wait staff member to return.

The chili oil that accompanied it paired well. It was flavorful, but not really spicy. Didn't care for the pickled veggies and the crudo, both were kinda just.. sour. I did enjoy the tartare, but the flat bread that came with it was really sticky. After every bite, I'd have to scrape the stuff off with my tongue, lol. The flavor was good, but it was really hard to get off of my teeth. Luckily, I carry floss with me.

“Such a great spot. We came for lunch in a big group. The service was excellent. Our server was attentive, quick, knowledgeable...she could talk about every item on the menu in detail. We always go to the bar side, and always request Raven. One time we didn't and got someone else, and it wasn't the same. Raven is amazing and she is always attentive to our needs. She just doesn't grab your order and bring stuff. We have fun conversations with her, and just has a great personality. The bowling is great, but I can't say much about throwing balls into wood. Unfortunately my wife is having surgery this week, so it will be a minute till we can come back. But we can't wait to make it part of our weekend routine again.“

The presentation of the food was beautiful and very good, however it was a bit pricey compared to the up scale bars and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, our bartender seems to be more interested in talking to the other staff, instead of paying attention to his customers. We had to wait to order drinks, we waited and waited to order food, and he had a really difficult time checking back to see if we needed more drinks. When the food arrived, the bartender had gotten our order wrong, but he was quick to correct it. The scallops, the fennel salad, the calamari, and the miso chicken were delicious. We did inquire about gluten-free options, but our bartender didn't seem to know what "gluten-free" was, and had nothing to suggest. It would be nice to have gluten-free indicated on the menu. (Also, the online menu was different from the in person menu. Not a big deal, but it should be updated.)
