“Wow! What a gem and wonderful sandwich and deli shop! The two owners are very friendly. We found out a short history how the shop has had two lives spanning 60 some odd years. It's first life was a fresh fruits and vegetables market. The building structure brought me back in time when the Salt Lake area had lots of farms and orchards; with the building having lots of garage doors that opened in the past and stands, full of colorful fresh fruits and vegetables, would be pushed out for customers to shop from and at the end of the day, pushed back in. For the past 30 years it has been a sandwich shop. The food is fantastic and the potatoe salad is so delish; reminding me of my mom's salad.“

Dinning area is a bit dirty, and restrooms are filthy but the food totally makes up for it. It gives it a lot of character. Also the service is really great, the guys there make you feel like you're a long time customer even if its your first time. Try the english chips, serving size on the chips has been reduced... “I love this place! I love the food!! However, I am pregnant now and I need my sandwiches heated up (so boring us pregnant women can’t have a cold sandwich). I’ve requested it heated in person once and the lady said no, she can’t heat it up. I said “ohh no, I’m pregnant so I need it heated up.”. She said, “well, we can if you’re pregnant…..” I wasn’t showing yet so I guess she didn’t believe me because she didn’t heat it up. Haha I chanced it and ate it anyway.
