Ate dinner last night with my family at Jims. We had a new waitress, which we tried to be understanding about, but after actually getting our food to the table, we never saw her again. In fact we had to catch a totally different waitress to actually get our bill.
There was a woman who came into the restaurant with her tiny lap dog. No service animal vest on. The dog was allowed to sit at the table, paws actually on the table, and the woman fed her dog with her fork.

Spiro's All Day Diner has a welcoming, hometown feel with a nice atmosphere and great friendly service. The food is very good, fresh, and homemade, with tasty pancakes and eggs for breakfast. Meals arrive quickly and are cooked perfect, with no complaints. The place can be packed with people, showing many folks appreciate it. Even when really busy, tables are found quickly. The wait staff is extremely nice and helpful. There is no bad meal here, and the down home atmosphere is really good. Many customers are regulars, and some waitresses have stayed for 15 years, saying it is a great place to work. Diners definitely recommend it and will return when in the area again.
