“Flavors of India was one of those go-to place I went when I was living in Utah, usually on my way to MRS Hobby in Sandy or just after stopping at Smith and Edwards just across the street. Overall a great place in West Jordan to stop for some Indian food.
The Atmosphere is fantastic. Nice, bright colors, artwork depicting scenes from India and the TVs actually play some Bollywood music videos and cricket matches to boot. Very much an enjoyable environment.
Overall I never had a bad experience regarding service. They were pretty good at ensuring my water was filled and were able to turn around food pretty quickly.
As for the food, while the menu doesn't state it you can have them adjust the spice level in your food. For those who are a bit timid with the spices, definitely let your server know to back off on the spice as needed. That said, they have a nice variety of curries, samosas, naan and other Indian dishes. I usually stuck to chicken tikka masala or the occasional lamb vindaloo but I've had their saag soup and some saag panner as well. Very flavorable, the accompanying rice as freshly steamed; my only wish there was a bit more rice served with their curries. I've even had their buffet once and I was pleased with the quality of the food on their buffet as I tried several different dishes and found them all to be fresh and enjoyable.
If you're in West Jordan and want some Indian cuisine, Flavors of India is definitely a good restaurant to try out.”

“I don’t mind coming here at all. The office staff is very friendly. The yard guys are extremely helpful. They’ll let you park overnight and take your break here. If you need to sleep, they’ll even let you drop your trailer. They’ll take it and load it for you and it’ll be waiting for you in the morning. Signs for shipping and receiving are clearly marked out on the road. You have to go through a gate to get in. Just push the button on the gate opens usually. Once you get in the facility, Go to the right and then left around to the back to the stop sign. Park there and the drivers entrance is up in the corner. Clearly marked. Parking is easy, docking is easy.”

I saw online that they had gluten free fry bread and had just missed having any at my local fair since I went gluten free about a year ago. I think it was the best thing I’ve had since. Was nearly in tears! I got the sweet fry bread with honey butter and cinnamon sugar. I also enjoyed the chicken bbq on mashed potatoes and gf chocolate cake. I wish I had one of these at home! Seriously thinking about moving here just for this place! Thank you for such a good meal!”

Moving here frrom a town in IL just north of Chicago, I never expected to find quality kielbasa in UT... but low and behold, Rise By Good Day has saved my polish cravings and kept my stomach happy. You have to get the Weselna Kielbasa. It is my absolute favorite. You also cannot go wrong with pierogies either. Or the poppy seed bread. Or the polish apple pie. I also love trying all the other polish foods and snacks. The ketchup is my new go to. Don't get me started on the Paczki. That's a delicacy of its own. Stop in, you wont be disappointed. The service is amazing. The owner is so friendly, as are her staff. I cannot recommend this place enough. I am looking forward to them opening the new location in West Jordan and trying their pierogi pizza and kielbasa pizza. Mmm!!”

“This is a newer restaurant find for me and it’s super good! I ordered a small steak pho and a side of the cream cheese wantons. The food was delicious and service was quick and friendly.

I ordered to go, which is always a gamble when bringing pho home, but they packaged it up really well and wrapped the broth up in Saran Wrap to keep it hot and also so it wouldn’t spill. I’ll definitely come here again!”

I will say the location itself is definitely not the nicest, the inside of the shop is very small, they only have one bench to sit on while you wait that fits maybe 2-3 people at a time, small selection of drinks and sweets, the pizza's are always really delicious so the quality of the food has never been an issue. I think customer service could be better, and the environment but that would be it!”

Many years have passed and it’s still standing strong, because of the emphasis on service and quality. We do, however, miss the monthly cruise nights.”

The Sushi chefs Eddie and Yee are there and you can chat with them and there’s always something to look at. they made Sushi roll super fast and the Sushi Rolls so yummy. The restaurant has a real nice and clean vibe too. The restrooms were clean as well. Definitely my favorite sushi spot in SLC. If I were rating our experience on food/atmosphere, this would have been 5/5 stars.”

So glad to find a place that still makes sushi by hand and the Ramen noodles we have found in town. We travel all over the country and the sushi here is fresh and the staff is vrey friendly. “Oh my goodness! Beyond thrilled that Dunkin is back in Utah! Was absolutely happy to drive 20 minutes for a coffee today! And it was worth every minute to get it!
Starbucks and Beans and Brew just tastes overloaded with sugar then bland cocoa flavored ice, and want to ask for almost $10 for coffee? I got a large coffee and a sandwich for the price today, except I would make one suggestion... Maybe offer up a side of some sort for the breakfast options or start doing meal combos... The food is extremely tasty, but still leaves you feeling a little hungry after... Which sucks after eating such a good sandwich and you want more! 😁
