“We stopping by since we were staying next door, I was pleasantly surprised, this place is great. “Super fun spot for delicious cocktails. The bartenders were knowledgeable and so nice! They were playing some great music. It’s a small space so it gets crowded and a little loud when it’s busy. But going during non-peak hours (weekdays or Sunday nights) made it easy to get served and find a table.“

“This was my first time at Libertango - recommended by a friend. We had a wonderful experience, from everyone being so kind, helping us celebrate our anniversary, but also delicious food - the provoleta was to die for, the passion fruit caipirinha. Their kindness was exceptional! Highly recommend if you want to eat good food, and feel special.“

“Could not believe our luck stumbling across this place on our vacation. The atmosphere was so fun - managed to fiully create the speakeasy vibe without feeling like a gimmick. The food and cocktails were very high quality - unique and flavorful - every aspect seemed carefully and tastefully chosen The service was excellent - responsive without being intrusive. Loved the music choices, but really sad we couldn't go on a night with live music. The next time we visit Salt Lake City this wii be must!!“

“I ordered the Ground Beef Chimichanga Platter, and had it smothered in Chili Verde. It was really good! Not a very crispy chimichanga, but great flavors and I was happy with the ground beef. The rice and beans were plentiful and tasted good. I also ordered a Non-alcoholic Mango Margarita, and enjoyed it. I think I'd prefer a different flavor next time, but no regrets trying the mango. It was very cold, and so drinking it while eating a hot chimi was a big mistake as I got two major brain freezes. It made for a good dessert once I finished my meal. My buddy got the Steak & Shrimp Fajitas, and commented that the meat wasn't seasoned, but was good as an entire package. Also, an important note, they provide complimentary chips and salsa with two different salsas. They are not two of the same salsas. One is a more bitter salsa, and not as good in my opinion, and the other is really good salsa (the one with the onion and pepper bits).
The service was good. Nallely, or server, was nice and gave helpful suggestions. Spanish is the primary language here, so there were a few questions that didn't translate well, but she was patient as we worked through it. Be proactive if you need a refill.
I love the location and the atmosphere of this restaurant. It's a classic American Mexican restaurant with good prices and a relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of parking too. I enjoyed my visit, and will be back, especially to try more of their drinks.“

“Ended up here after the farmer’s market on a whim. Was so blown away! The food was 10/10 (got the eggs Benedict), rooftop was gorgeous, bartenders were super friendly, and I felt like I was at a Vegas pool party with the DJ jamming out — she was AMAZING. Can’t wait to go back.“
