“The food is always good and fresh! I went to the drive thru and ordered 2 meals- when I got to the window I realized that I left my purse at home. I had cash in my pocket but I was $2 short so I asked them to take off 1 meal and they did and charged me for just the 1 meal. Then when Scottie handed me my bag there were 2 meals in the bag! She said have a good night! I was in tears because that was such a nice thing to do!!! I love Costa Vida!“

“Just came across this place a few weeks ago, and I am sad I didn’t know about it before. We’ve been back 4 times lol. The best ICE CREAM!!! My kids ask to go back every day. Their esquites and mangonadas are delicious, coming from someone that grew up eating all these Mexican snacks in LA and Mexico. And the best part is that it’s fairly priced. The service is excellent too, they are happy to see you.“

Their menu has the right kind of variety. Most Mexican restaurants, it seems, don't serve Pozole, for example, let alone advertise it the way TLA does. While the too hot weather kept me from trying their Pozole, our server Margarita assured me it is top notch (we'll be back to try it).

The tacos my wife and I had were top notch. I had the quesabirria (which were on par with Del Barrio's quesabirria) and my wife went with the asada and chicken tacos. Very tasty.

The chips and salsa came with 4 types of salsa to try, each bringing its own flavor to the table.

Our server Margarita is everything you could want in a server. If you typically pay with a card, make sure you bring cash. Their point-of-sale system does not enable tips the expected way, so the only way you can give a tip is with cash.“

“This has become our go to for Mexican food. We have been going here for about a year now at least once a week . We have tried numerous dishes and we have enjoyed them all. The owner Pete and his family all work here. We loveee this place. Highly recommend“

“This is my favorite place to get tacos in Utah. I’m here once a week. The salsa is amazing but my favorite is the tacos, I have had them all and love them all. The food is fresh and delicious. Grab some chips and salsa while you wait this is not fast food it’s fresh food. I eat a lot and never leave hungry, all my buddies come with me and tell me that these are the best tacos. The mango-pina is always so fresh and delicious one of my favorite drinks as well. If you have time with the wait. I have never left disappointed it’s always consistent. “Me and my coworkers got food from here today. It was horrible! The chili verde had 2 pieces of meat in it that was like jerky. To top it off it had a hair in it. Pretty much my whole meal got dumped in the garbage. None of my coworkers enjoyed their food either. Don't waste your money.“

This trip, my family and I got the 8 piece mixed with macaroni, mashed potatoes and beans. All the food was HOT! All the food was FRESH! Juicy chicken, sweet and savory mashed potatoes and gravy, perfectly seasoned beans. The macaroni wasn't mushy and overcooked like some of the other "chicken" guys; It was fresh and cheesy.
