“Food is ALWAYS GREAT here, when they actually get it right…. The people working here didnt speak a lick of English, our entire order was super wrong, we had to send it back (which I’ve done one other time in my entire life) and they got it super wrong again, not a I didn’t want onions and the put onions in the food wrong, like, a, I ordered chicken tikka and they brought out a vegetarian pizza, wrong) THIS HAPPENED 3 TIMES…. Finally just ate the food they gave us to get out of there since we’d been there for almost 3 hours…“
“Stopped in late, after 9pm and still received excellent service and fresh delicious food! We ordered butter chicken and vegetable Marsala and they were both so good! Loved the garlic naan as well, definitely recommend. I love the green concrete floors as well, will definitely come back!“
“We went there tonight and discovered why they've earned themselves 5 stars! I had the Chicken Coconut Kurma - a unique dish I've never had in Indian restaurants before, and my boyfriend had the Lamb Saag. The food was delicious, the servers were attentive, the prices reasonable, and the decor is beautiful and quiet! We have a few favorites that we always visit on our ski trips to SLC and this is added to the list!“
“Love the food here, one of my favorite places for curry. The Cheese Naan is may favorite and the Tikka Masala is so good and you can get it at the heat to your liking.Parking: It's next to a gamer store so it can be hard to find parking during certain hours“
“Awesome idlis that taste and feel home made. We also ordered the biryani which was amazing and the butter chicken was finger licking good. Finally !! Otherwise it's usually filled with food coloring and is very sweet. This butter chicken and the fluffy butter naan were sinfully good. Also huge portions so it was overall a great experience. Will definitely dine here again .“
“If you love Indian food this is the place to go. The lunch buffet is awesome, just opened back up! The restaurant is clean and modern. They also have a secret spicy menu. If you ask for spicy they normally only give you "American Hot". If you are serious about your heat, ask for "Indian Hot." Also, the owner frequently works right in the kitchen to ensure everything is spot on, and he makes great conversation. What are you waiting for?“
“As a seasoned traveler who has sampled countless Indian restaurants across the USA, I am thrilled to say that Bhansa Ghar truly stands out from the crowd. After savoring their delectable dishes, I have no hesitation in awarding a 5-star rating. The attention to spice leaves is impeccable, and the service is exceptional. I look forward to returning soon when I'm in town again. Bhansa Ghar has set a new benchmark for Indian cuisine in my books.“
“There was a friendly Server, very informative and very aware of our needs. The food was amazing!! You can’t go wrong with anything!Vegetarian options: I tried to look at everything on the menu since it was our 1st time there and we haven’t eaten out India food for a super long time! There were many vegetarian options on the menu.“
“Came here for the very first time, and it has been a great experience from the moment I stepped inside! The guy working at the time was extremely friendly and conversational. I got a side of samosas and while I couldn’t tell whether it was baked or fried, it still tasted great nonetheless. I also had the kothey momos, and they were cooked to perfection. Because of the friendly staff and the great tasting food, I’ll be back again!“
“I was in Salt Lake for a quick trip and a friend of mine recommended this place. We showed up around 5pm on a Wednesday and were seated right away, the lady who served our table was beyond helpful, kind, and polite. She had great suggestions and was very attentive. We ordered the Indian salad, garlic Naan, chicken curry, and Muglai (lamb) Biryani. All of the food was phenomenal and the experience was great, I would be here all the time if I lived in the area because it was so delicious and very friendly service.“
“I don’t usually leave reviews on google, but I wanted to make sure MunchKart gets the credit it deserves. I wasn’t expecting much with the cheap prices, but I was pleasantly surprised. I got the chicken korma curry and it was the best curry I’ve ever had for $10. Rice is even included in the price. You won’t find a better value anywhere else!“
“We really enjoy eating at Royal India. Their food is very delicious. For an appetizer, they have a vegetable Samosa which is incredibly delicious. It’s a fried pastry stuff with potatoes and peas and it’s so good. I like their chicken tikka and chicken masala. They can do different spice ranges to customize it for your tastes.“
“Decided to give it a try even after learning of the location. So many improvements to the facility from a few years back staying at the hotel. Good was great and portions were adequate. Samosa Chat. Butter chicken, doubled up on garlic Naan and finished it off with (sp?) Shinkhand. Very please with my meal and very friendly service.“
“I love this place!! I probably go one every week or every other week! The people are SO NICE and always remember me and details about my life. It’s always great food and great chats! 100% would recommend! I’ve tried a decent amount of the Indian food in slc and they are my favorite!!“
“Indian food that won't break the bank?! Yes please!! My 9 year old and I needed a last minute lunch option the other day and decided to stop in here. We instantly knew we had made the right choice. Everything was delicious and the portions were perfect. My son really loves noodles and the kid was literally in heaven. I caught this pic right as he was taking his first bite! Go there!! You'll love it I promise!“
“This place is THE legit place for Indian "tiffins" in the Salt Lake Valley. It's all vegetarian. I lived in Tamil Nadu India for over a year, and every time I go to this place it just takes me right back.Don't expect table service, and you'll have to put your own dishes on the wash rack when you're done. They also don't do "spice level": the food is made legit the way it would normally be at a restaurant in India - spicy, but not overboard.I always leave this place feeling great.Vegetarian options: Strictly, deliciously vegetarian, just like any legit tiffins point in India.Parking: Enormous strip mall parking lot. Never have had trouble finding a spot“
“Looking for wonderful authentic Indian cuisine. You will love Bhutan House! Absolutely delicious food with a kind staff to help you make selections if you need. Curry, butter chicken, tandoori, and a must have with every meal their bread basket!“
“I try to come here ounce or twice a month it's the best food in town they use the best quality basmati rice just like everything else super fresh good service very polite I live across the street from Lowe's and I ride my bike only takes like 10 min it's worth the ride for the best in townMade a big mistake trying another place that was not near as good remember they use the better rice and ingredients always service with a smile I Highly Recommend this place for all of your needs and it's a nice store“
“Where can I buy the chairs you guys have in there? They are really good looking and super comfortable!!! I'd love to know where I can buy them. The food is great, my wife and I go there more than any other restaurant probably. Would highly recommend.“
“The chicken tika masala and coconut korma is delicious here. I like the decor. Staff is authentically Indian. I would come eat here again. I took my significant other and her family here and they all loved it. It was their first time eating Indian food.“
“Three of us arrived for an early dinner on a Friday night. We were met by friendly staff and seated promptly at a beautiful table by the window. One of our party arrived before the rest and was able to be seated without all of us being present. Big plus! The atmosphere was lovely. Open, a lot of tables, yet a lot of room so we didn’t feel crammed together. Open beam ceilings, and beautiful decor. The feeling of a bit upscale, with a welcoming feel of family. Although there were many other patrons, we didn’t have to raise our voices to hear each other talk. The table was set up for four, and when the first of our party arrived water was brought in silver cups along with a tall slender silver pitcher for us to fill our cups at our convenience. Which was nice for me as I drink a lot of water with my meals. Oh, and you know the smell of Indian spices? You are met with that wonderful smell as soon as you walk in the door. It is not overwhelming, however, you know you are in a Traditional Indian restaurant.Srikanth was our server. He explained the dishes for those in the party who were unfamiliar with Indian Cuisine. He allowed us to take our time scanning the menu, however, would check back in with us so as to not make us wait if we were ready. We ordered Punjabi Samosas, Paneer Dosas, the Butter Chicken spice level Medium, an order of Garlic Nan and two Masala Chia Hot Teas. Our food was delivered very quickly, and piping hot.The samosas were light, if you could call a samosa light, and full of flavor, as were the dosas. The fresh chutneys served with the dosas and samosas were so good. I could close my eyes and feel like I was back in India. I could taste all of the flavors without any one of them overwhelming the other. I could taste the freshness, as if the chutneys were made to order just for us.The Butter chicken, on top of the basmati rice was some of the best I have ever eaten. And the garlic nan had just enough garlic to give it flavor, yet not so much that I had to cover my mouth while speaking at the event we later attended.I’ve been to India, and I lived about two miles from Little India in Artisia, California for 13 years. I have eaten my fair share of Indian cuisine. The food at Saffron Valley was fresh, authentic, and made with love. The service we received from Srikanth was exceptional. He was friendly, explained the dishes, greeted us with a smile, was attentive, checked in enough yet not too much. We felt welcome to stay as long as we wish, and when I, the one who knows Indian cuisine , ordered the “Pan” (I’ve been studying Spanish obsessively for a few months) he didn’t even correct me, just asked if we wanted it plain, with garlic, or with cheese. That’s class.I would wholeheartedly recommend Saffron Valley in downtown SLC to anyone who enjoys authentic Indian cuisine, or anyone who has never tried it before and wants to.“
“I don't want to give away the farm on this one, for personal reasons. However, I will say that the food was outstanding! The servings were very hardy, just the right amount of spice (heat) and the service was extra special. (Not special like short bus special). The young man at the cash register was obviously family, couldn't have been more than 13 or 14 years old. But he was super bright, warm, caring, empathetic and giving!! He made what could have been a bad experience for me, something wonderful! (let me clarify...it had nothing to do with the business, it was my mistake). In fact, I was so happy, I cried! Yep, I did.... I wanted to throw my arms around his neck and hug him till he couldn't breathe! The young man made my week ?. I will definitely send there again!-Kat Thompson“
“I absolutely love the authentic, delicious food loving prepared here. I'm grateful to have found this hidden ? of a restaurant in Sandy.Vegetarian options: Delicious!Parking: Free parking.Wheelchair accessibility: I noticed a handicap parking space near the restaurant's front door.“
“Everything in the buffet was quite good, and they had a decent selection. Covered the bases for me, though I would've preferred a different dahl. Just my personal preference.I particularly loved the tandoori chicken. It was so tender and moist. Not dried out at all, like is so often the case with buffets. And their goat curry was also phenomenal. Highly recommend this one for the buffet.“
“This is my favorite Indian restaurant. I live in LA and eat Indian food fairly regularly. The service was excellent and fast. I appreciated that the service was non-intrusive and anticipatory of my needs. It additionally seems like a great place to order take-out because the food was ready so quickly.“
“Now with three locations including a frequently-packed space in Salt Lake City Hasen Cone’s Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeaid is nothing short of a Utah landmark, the fact that everything on the menu is made from scratch less surprising than just how good the Biscuits actually are. Begun as a Limeade stand inside the Downtown Farmer’s Market, but now the sort of spot with an hour-plus Yelp! waitlist, guests visiting Sweet Lake will be greeted by friendly staff in a sparse room where the Limeaid Bar and partially-open Kitchen are in full focus. Rumored to serve the city’s best Fried Chicken, both that and the Limeaid saved for a later date, Sunday’s order included one “Biscuit Bar” topped with peppery Tooele Valley Sausage Gravy plus Sweet Lake’s “Strawberry Tall Cake” that sees plump and buttery Biscuits Sugar-shellacked amidst Fresh Cream and locally-grown Berries. Locally sourced whenever possible, a tall glass of Coldbrew Coffee earthy with mellow notes of Cocoa, it was while waiting that Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade’s story became all the more compelling thanks to a mission statement that pays employees real living wages while also giving back to the community through green policies.“
“This place used to be Sri Balaji Caffe. Name changed, but the food doesn't seem to have. Hands down the best place for Indian Tiffins in Utah. It's counter service, and you bus your own table, but every time I eat here it takes me right back to the days when I was living in Chennai. Food is legit, curries are simply made right (no "how spicy do you want?"). Freaking delicious, and very well priced for how much food you get.“
“Absolutely delish Indian food. It was a bit confusing to find as it’s listed as Makim’s. On google but the sign on the door said Munch Kart. Same place. They were very helpful at offering suggestions as to what tastes great together and offering ideas on what to eat (I’m not that experienced in Indian food). They were considerate to help me avoid dairy (as much as possible). The food was sizable portions and well balanced. I made my own bowl and got the lamb and coconut curry. The naan was a little too crispy for my preference but still great.Wonderful people, amazing food.“
“Edit (12/2023): They don't do a lunch buffet anymore despite that being listed on their website and on their door. Docking a star for that.Old review: This has become my go-to for great Indian food. The lunch buffet is a great value and the service is great. Lunch buffet is also available on Saturdays. Their chicken tikka masala/butter chicken is delicious. We add a bit of salt to it to enhance the flavor. Always like trying different items on the buffet as well. Highly recommend.“
“We eat here more often than any other restaurant. We have been many times, and it’s always excellent. Definitely our favorite Indian in SLC.Dietary restrictions: Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free are available and tasty!Parking: Can be crowded on a weekend night but always fine on weeknights.“
“It's like Chipotle but with delicious Indian food. No wait, excellent service, made to order naan. Recommend the chickpeas and coconut korma on the seasoned rice! Dining room ambiance leaves a little to be desired so while I wouldn't take a first date, the food deserves 5 stars.“
“This is seriously the best Indian food in West Valley! Do yourself a favor and hit this place up. Even the palak paneer is the best I've ever had. The mango lassi is on point too! And they have some fun, unique things like the buffalo momos that don't disappoint!“
