“Me and my friend roadtripped down from Vermont to Virginia to see friends and family. While we were there, we were lucky to attend Lori’s plant walk. It was such a magical experience to walk on her historical property, and learn all about the numerous uses for all the plants you may see, even those we may see as weeds. Lori was so welcoming and encouraged others to share any knowledge they had, saying she always loves learning new things and hearing others perspectives. As a college student majoring in Agroecology and Lanscape design, I feel like I learned more from Lori and her practices then I did in any of my classes!“
