“Brew Birds is an amazing local cafe with fresh and delicious food, great coffee and a rotating selection of beers/ ciders. The staff are very friendly. I don't eat out during the week (only home cooked), so a Brew Birds breakfast burrito is usually the go to treat. I can personally recommend the Roast Beast, the Turkey BLT, the breakfast burrito, and the basic B. This place is my favorite part of the neighborhood!“

Every bite said, “Sir, this is not fast food — this is fine dining between buns.” My wife had the Paris Burger — imagine garlic-kissed beef topped with brie so creamy it probably auditioned for a romance film, with balsamic onions adding the drama. Let’s just say she stopped talking mid-bite. That’s how you know it’s good. The vibe? Casual but classy, with staff who treat you like family (the good side of the family, not the ones who borrow your tools and never bring them back). And yes… in a moment of grilled beef-fueled euphoria, I may have proclaimed myself the Burger King. Debbie gave me a look. I instantly realized my mistake. This isn’t that kind of burger joint. “Update 4/2/25: Had to drop the rating one star. Recent shows there have not sounded great, not sure what has happened. Very muddled and bass heavy which is not good when they are guitar oriented bands and the guitar is barely audible.
Love this venue! They get a great mix of tribute bands and a decent number of national acts as well. The best thing about the place is the sound system. They have absolutely nailed the sound the majority of the shows I've seen here. The 2024 Living Colour show immediately comes to mind, such a great job on the sound mix! In 20+ shows I've seen here to date only one had bad sound, Geoff Tate. I asked about that one and turns out the band had its own sound people on the boards, so that was on them not the venue.
Parking is a breeze as there is a public garage right behind the theater. Tribute bands generally are in the $15 to $25 range for general admission tickets. Even for national acts I've not yet noticed anything go past $50 per ticket (KK's Priest with Accept was the most I've seen at $49.50). I've been to a sold out show here and they must have good AC as it did not get overly hot inside.
My only quibble is the "pit" area by the stage is slightly sloped, good for sight lines, not so much for standing on.“

“Stopped into Asian Noodles House in Leesburg for lunch on this freezing day to have a bowl of Tonkotsu ramen with pork and chicken. Wow, so fresh and delicious! The pork was incredibly tender. I cleaned my bowl, it was so good.“

“We’re always looking for good Chinese food in the area, and happy to have stumbled upon this one. My husband and I ordered crispy beef, duck wraps, house lo mein and general tso’s chicken. The owner said we ordered too much lol

Crispy beef was very unique. Tasted good, it was fried in thick strips as opposed to the thin strips you usually see, and stayed crunchy throughout.

General Tso’s chicken was good too; large juicy chunks of meat with a good sauce.

Lo mein was great - our 3 year old ate half of the dish himself. The house lo mein was good because it had beef, chicken and shrimp all mixed together.

The only miss for us were the duck wraps. While the pancakes and hoisin sauce tasted good, the duck was way too gamey for our taste and we didn’t love the vegetables that came with it. The owner noticed we didn’t eat it and she recommended that next time we try the Cantonese style roast duck; less gamey and taste better.

We also got a pina colada smoothie which was fabulous!!

True to their restaurant name, they played opera music in the background and had an ongoing video of classical dances on the wall.

The owner was so attentive to our son, gave him crayons to draw with, and kept our water/ tea filled at all times.

Unfortunately we were the only people in the restaurant for dinner that night, I hope more people come try their food! We’ll definitely be back to try more things!“

I get the pepperoni and extra cheese probably more than I should, that's my comfort order, but when I want something different the buffalo chicken is unreal. Always cooked right, always loaded.
The steak and cheese sub is no joke either. One of the best I've had anywhere, and I don't say that lightly. And I have to mention the penne quattro formaggi because it's one of my favorite pastas I've ever had, period. So creamy and rich, I think about it when I'm not even eating it.
