It’s more than just an eatery too; there’s a small bar and even a little store, which adds to its charm. The space has a nostalgic, comforting feel that makes you want to linger.

I often see the same lovely lady running the place, which gives it a warm, possibly family-run vibe. As much as I’d like to keep it to myself, this place truly deserves more love.“

The rye bread was toasted perfectly, the sauerkraut was tangy, the smoked tempeh was a delicious stand in for corned beef, and put together with the dressing and the cheese it was melt in your mouth delicious. The menu at Stray Cat is a bit more sophisticated than the sandwiches and pizza next door - reliable comfort food. Pictures of cats adorn the walls. What's not to love here? Good craft beer list too, just like next door.“

“I have had a LOT of dumplings and these are hands down some of the best I have ever had. They are the perfect amount of meat, perfect crisp, and perfect shape. They hold their shape and are so freaking good. The soup dumplings are rich and delicious. Ask for the spicy sauce if you want, so freaking good“

What we didn’t know is that we would meet Paul, who took care of us and “tour us around” their menu and options. The food was delicious and healthy as well! Artichokes, hummus, cauliflower and the chicken were amazing! My brother is vegetarian so they prepared a pad thai for him and he really enjoyed it. After dinner, was time to look everybody dancing on the floor… With the perfect atmosphere! I wish I could post some pictures!! “I’ve been seeing this new place develop but hadn’t had a chance to go in until today. While waiting for my prescription at CVS up the block, I tried their soup of the day. The front of the house has a few tables and a counter, giving the impression of a typical take-out joint. But they have the next store front too, with comfortable high and low tables. Since I was eating in, I was served on nice china, glassware, and real utensils. The Broccoli cheddar soup was excellent. It’s very clean and bright and the restroom is too. This is a much needed addition to the 12th St business district. I wish them much success. I’ll go for the full menu for sure. Hope you do too!“

“First time trying this Korean fried chicken place, we have many around the neighborhood, thankfully the food made up for the lack of customer service, be prepared to wait since the food is made to order or order ahead, hands down best Korean chicken I've had.“

Just ordered 4 large specialty pizzas the other day with a mix of regular and light cheese, they were ready in 15-20 minute and they all had the perfect amount of cheese.
