I discovered Eddies about a month ago and have been 5+ times and the food and service has been great each time. Tue and Thu are cutlet day, do yourself a favor and try the No.23. The 128 is also great. They have a few grocery staples which is nice in a pinch. Give it a try, you wont regret it.“

The bread was very good, holding everything together well even with oil and vinegar. “Just wow. I was in S. Korea for the last 2 years and this is by far the closest I’ve had to it. I came in and was warmly greeted and given time to order. I got the bibimbap and it was a generous portion. The food is made to order so you will always receive it hot. “Probably the best deli in the area.Their prices are quite a bit higher than other sandwich shops in the area, but they use top quality cold cuts. (With a tip, I paid a little more than $30 for two sandwiches.)They still make almost all of the sandwiches that have been on the menu since the old days, but they're happy to make your sandwich to order if you prefer.Busy at peak lunch time, obviously, but it's been deserted when I've been there, a little later in the afternoon, around 2.The staff is very friendly. “We used to live in this part of FC and the Delly was our regular place to catch a quick bite. NoVa has a complete lack of a decent Deli...which is very unfortunate for this Chicago gal. Celebrity Delly does a great job of satisfying my need for a good deli sandwich or a nice bowl of soup on a chilly day. I ordered their sandwich half with side...had to get the matzoh ball soup as my side. The broth was chicken-y...the matzoh ball was tender. Nice pieces of tender chicken meat. Yummy! I ordered the Ruben sandwich half...and I go for the more traditional corned beef (in NoVa it's almost always made with pastrami) which made me very very happy. The corned beef was sliced paper thin, which is how I like it. It was tender warm and juicy. Great white sauerkraut. Nice sauce and bread. The side pickle was good, not great but definitely good. I was very happy with this. It satisfied my craving. I'd like to see a little more meat and less kraut, but it was a solid sandwich half. That corned beef was sliced beautifully thin. Gotta like that! My server was funny and nice and had good "Delly" energy. The interior hasn't changed much over the years...comfortable surroundings. I like the lunch counter for singles. I definitely recommend this place above all the other Fairfax delis. They are solid.“

“This is a cute little deli in the Fairfax Medical Center in Fairfax City. The sandwiches are all pretty delicious with fresh ingredients. They have daily specials including bulgogi on Tuesdays which is a really good deal with a lot of rice Korean slaw and Korean beef sauteed with garlic ( bulgogi). The food is really good here. My favorite is also the Reuben. It is also very delicious and loaded with meat. They don't skimp here. You get fresh deli meat, fresh cheese and service is great. The owner is very nice and friendly. Great place for a quick lunch in Fairfax city!“

“First visit. The phones on the wall and rustic / pastel paint job are creative and cute without being tacky - nice vibe. Staff very friendly and helpful. We tried 2 of the bagel sandwiches: The Mountain View. Egg, latke and cheese - great combo I've never heard of before, highly recommended - there was so little avocado that it didn't register, but it wasn't needed. The Sun City with bacon, egg, cheese, honey on everything bagel - also a good combo if less original than the Mountain View. The music was loud and not great. Maybe the strategy is to get people to just take out and not sit down? The suggested tip starts at 15%....l know many places in DC are doing that but for takeout it's not ok with me. Prices + tips have gotten out of hand and we do eat out less often now because of it.“

“I grew up with this shop, and it's just timelessly delicious. Best sandwiches and nicest staff in the free world. The Italian subs are their hallmark, but the other sandwiches are all terrific. They're stuffed to bursting with meats and cheeses, and very tasty combinations. Their to-go dinners are amazing. The picatta, lasagna, sauces, pepperoni rolls...not a bad meal to be had.
